Amazing food, service was amazing! We sat outside the cafe, watched the locals moving about, and waited for our meal...we really enjoyed every morsel.

    Nice looking cappucino...

We like this spot for breakfast, we've been coming here every day for a days :) really nice juice, coffee, croissants and service. I now have had a flamenko cheese omelette which is really tasty. Croissants are really yummy too... Good spot :)

The food was excellent and great price . The only regret that I didn't discover it a few days before I. Can't wait to visit again . Highly recommended .

Where do I start?! This place is a MUST brunch in Lisbon!! We stumbled upon it as we were staying in the neighborhood, and arrived about 15 minutes before brunch started at 11am. The waiter let us know that brunch would be starting soon and was highly recommended. We decided to wait and were seated right away on their quaint patio outside. My husband and I shared the mini brick and the brick brunch. We were brought our coffees right away (very impressed they have soy milk & their latte art was on point!) We chose the juice of the day which was a ginger pineapple- refreshing. Then the food started to arrive. First a whole bread basket with butter, jams and "chocolate salami" (not real salami but some kind of chocolatey dessert that looks like marbles like salami and was delish!) Then our plates...OMG. So many types of fresh cheeses, meats, salad, eggs. The presentation is on point and this breakfast was SO filling, delicious, a really exceptional value, and quite the experience. The staff was so friendly and courteous- they all work together and you can tell they enjoy it. Would recommend this place to ANYone visiting Lisbon!

Walked 16 minutes from my place.. Got my exercise out of the way. High impact walking up and down. Ouchy...

I loved my breakfast! Their quiches are heavenly made with some heavenly made cheeses and spinach inside the Phyllo dough, omg... The other quiche is the shredded pork with carrots, no cheese, melted in my mouth like fine chocolates. I'm not surprised by my reactions since Yelp guided me here with 5 big loud red stars. Hub and i walked to here from our place and it is totally worth every hill I climbed. Our server is taken aback I think because we eat like true Americans and seemed a little bothered by our orders of 2 quiches, 2 orders of omelettes with veggies, bacon and chevre, 2 lattes, 2 americanos and bottled water. Not saying anything vocally but I get his facial expressions. Nice gentleman though... He's quick with our requests and very polite. Impressive I say. I think he's shy, honestly. Anyway, I know I'll be walking tons more in the future and will burn every bit I took. This place is a superstar on Yelp you guys. Nuff said! Happy face...

Great value on a Sunday brunch. We ordered a "Mini Brick" and a "Brick", which seemed to be the only things on the menu on Sunday late morning. The mini version was just smaller portions and a few more items. It was plenty. There was an abundance of cheeses and the meal included coffee (or other hot drink) and juice (or another cold drink). The chips was delicious and the price for the mini was only €6.8. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

    The "brick" breakfast, so good!

The menu was perfect for me - simple with only 2 options. The food was delicious! High quality products. I opted for the "brick" breakfast.. make sure you come hungry because it's a lot of food! Amazing value and find.

Omelette was exceptional with goat cheese. One of the few places where you can actually get real latte.

Excellent place for brunch. Everything was delicious and very fulfilling.

Nice place to have a Sunday brunch! It's always full and unfortunately they have a no reservation policy. So remember to go early! :) It stops serving breakfast at 3 pm so that's a pity. Nevertheless they also have other nice dishes that are always changing. I tried the chicken risotto and it was quite good too.

    Perfect latte

What makes it special is watching the pastries being handmade right in front of you, which adds a level of freshness and craftsmanship that you can actually taste. The service was super fast and friendly. The pastel de nata came out perfectly, with that delicate flaky crust and warm custard that just hits differently when you know it was made moments ago. The espresso was equally impressive, rich and smooth, and the two together make for a simple but near perfect combination. If you are in the area, this is an easy and very satisfying stop.

The crust was super flaky and the tart was nice and warm out of the oven, but I didn't like the flavor of the custard. I did forget to add cinnamon to the top, but I don't think it would have helped me personally. The woman who stood next to me at the counter had a nearly orgasmic experience next to me, so it's obvious that my taste buds are apparently off. I loved the patience of the server, who got confused when I told her I wanted to eat in but wanted to take water to go. Note to self...Portuguese folks want to have their "to go" as "takeaway." What I also didn't know was that there was no place to sit!! I scooted down the counter just like all the other folks to watch the bakers prep the next gozillion pastries for the day. That was interesting. Then, I didn't know how to bus my dishes. I just left them on the counter like all the other folks and went away. I wouldn't skip going because of my personal taste buds, though. Enjoy it for yourself and let me know if you have a different opinion than I did!

We had a perfect breakfast for our last day in Lisbon. Service was impeccable, and the food was excellent. We started with Cappuccino, juice of the day and a Bloody Mary to celebrate. Truly was the perfect end to our stay in Lisbon. Obrigada!

Worth Going Out Of Your Way…read more.... On our annual vacation, my wife and I were fortunate enough to get a reservation for 3 nights at the Santiago de Alfama hotel. Audrey's is their primary restaurant and we sampled 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: - In keeping with the hotel, everything is beautiful in a subtle manner. Call it "down-to-earth elegance". - Breakfast: The a la carte menu offered some of the best breakfast foods we've ever had. Examples: Fresh granola and berries with Greek yogurt. THE BEST EVER! Home baked breads and pastries. Orange juice that's pure and not too sweet. Bagel and lox to please the purists. Service was provided by a trio of very friendly, attentive and helpful young women. - Lunch: We ate on the patio in front of the hotel. I had a super tasty vegetarian Thai dish while my wife had a big salad. They were accompanied by the best Sangria in ages. Sweet, but not too much. - Dinner: The dining room is very attractive yet understated like the hotel. Comfortably modern European. Food was impeccable. Tomato salad was large and amazing. My wife's dish focusing on baked cod was large and filling. My polenta with mushroom ragu was immense and full of flavor. Breads are baked daily and almost as good as dessert. Speaking of dessert, mine was a fantastic chocolate mousse while my wife had fresh berries with a massive amount of the best homemade whipped cream. Wine was a local Chardonnay - an excellent choice - for a reasonable $30. - Prices for such a Michelin star experience are considerably lower than you'd expect in the US. Con: - While the food at dinner was fantastic, service was perfunctory. Our server, a pleasant young woman, covered the basics...but nothing more. During our 90 minute meal, she NEVER asked "how are you doing?" Can I get you anything?" We ordered a bottle of wine, but NOT ONCE did she offer to refill our glasses. She didn't speak an unrequired word. The man seemingly managing the room barely acknowledged us. The guy clearing dishes was the ONLY ONE to ask if we wanted coffee or tea. The restaurant was nearly empty. Did we not spend enough? Did we do something wrong? What a way to put a damper on a glorious meal. However, as well-behaved Americans, we left a 15% tip. The next day, we spoke with Martim Neves Carneiro from Guest Relations who was very receptive to our information. He said "they are part of a new nighttime crew and will need remedial help". How very true. Despite those hesitations, Audrey's certainly deserves 5 stars.
