    Happy wife. empty plate.

Was recommended this place a couple different people. Did not disappoint. Both my wife and I got burger and enjoyed. Wings for apps and cheesecake for dessert. Both of the ladies taking care of us were very courteous and the music was great. Picture says it all.

I love the atmosphere in this place. The character of the exposed brick walls makes the restaurant feel unique and charming. I love the booths !!! We were so hungry when we got here, we ordered the soup as soon as we sat down. My husband got the broccoli cheddar and I got the chili. The flavor was REALLY good, but they were given to us luke warm. Hence, the main reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I got a lemon drop cocktail ($7) and it was really good. A rim of sugar around the lemony vodka drink was yummy. My husband got the alfredo with shrimp and side salad. He loved the salad. It was fresh and the lettuce was crispy. The alfredo was good, but not much flavor. In my opinion, it seemed like it would have been better with more real butter and parmesan and maybe some type of spice like pepper or cajun... but that's just me. I got the boneless pork wrapped in bacon covered in sliced apples. It was good but again seemed to lack flavor. The pork seemed to need seasoning. To me, it tasted like they just used salt and pepper and relied on the bacon to provide the rest of the flavor. The meat did have a slight smokiness to it and was perfectly charred on the outside, so that was good. The apples didn't have much flavor either. I was expecting a strong flavor of alcohol since our waitress said they were cooked in amaretto and cinnamon. To me, not much cinnamon flavor either. Maybe the apples had been sitting a while and not made fresh daily ? The parmesan potatoes were just slightly undercooked for my taste and had oil as a coating with the herbs and parmesan. They were just ok. Now to the highlight of the meal: the Mac & Cheese ! Omg... if you come here you MUST get this as a side. Perfectly cheesy with multiple levels of cheese on corkscrew pasta. There was a creamy cheese the pasta was cooked in and THEN they topped it with a melted cheddar cheese. Dang, this was AWESOME ! This place kind of has a big city feel in a small town. I like the hip vibe. Definately something different for this area and a welcome addition.

    This sandwich looked quite good!

Nice, somewhat hip downtown bar less than a block away from the courthouse square. Good atmosphere, I like the way the place is set up. Probably a decent place for a burger and the some of the desserts seem quite interesting. I've been here a few times, mostly for drinks, but did visit recently for dinner. My shrimp dinner was ok, can't say that I was that enthusiastic about it. However I did get a taste of my friends pork chop wrapped in bacon which is something I would definitely order here. Came with some sort of drunken apples which were fantastic.

Okay I'm in love - we came here and ordered the wings with the house sauce and OMG... the sauce is perfect. Sweet with a slight heat - may have a vinegar base to it. We ended up putting the sauce on our other food (which was also great!) and dipping our fries in it. I think I could create an entire menu just off of the sauce. I had the Jack chicken sandwich and he had the black and blu burger!

Great place to eat. Highly recommend the catfish fillets. Everything was delicious. We will return here again next time we are in town.

The establishment is old and has dark wood from top to bottom, covered in Irish decor. We sat in a secluded area that honestly felt like we were on a boat. I got a Guiness on draft (because you HAVE to when you're at an Irish bar, right?). It was smooth and frothy. We got the pretzel bites and beer cheese (really good) and fried pickles. I got a french dip sandwich - which was on soft toast which made it really hard to dip in the au juis with fries (which were really cripsy and flavorful). Honestly, I've had better dip sandwiches so I wouldn't get it again however they have a very large menu and lots of Irish favorites. Will go back to the establishment for something else. Street parking- didn't see any private flat lot however there is a parking garage about a block away available. Service was good, no complaints.

The bartender Brenda was awesome super friendly and was busting her butt. I got an old fashioned which was very good. I ordered the Shepherds Pie (half order) and it was very good. On the side I got McDoogal balls which were unique but they were good as well. I end the night with an excellent Irish Coffee. Greta value and good food. Definitely would go back and recommend you try it as well.
