Nervous to get a filling from horrendous past experiences with dentists from Pasadena and San Marino, I didn't know what to expect from dentists nearby in Arcadia. Luckily, a friend of mine recommended Dr.Kuo to me. I can honestly say he's the best dentist in Arcadia. Frankly, the best dentist I've ever had. His office is new, clean and comfortable. When I entered his dental office for my first appointment I admired how private it was. I felt very relaxed, unafraid and unashamed of my teeth foreseeing no judgment. I met his wonderful dental assistant, Vanessa. She was so kind and always smiling. She was patient and sweet. For any question I had, she would answer politely. When I met Dr. Kuo I was very satisfied. With his certificates and awards in his dentistry, meeting him made him even more credible. He was knowledgeable and a fantastic teacher. He explained everything thoroughly and answered every question I had without making me feel inferior but rather respectable. The filling process was nice and he was an expert. I was in no pain and felt very calm. He always made sure I was okay and made great conversation. He took all my nerves away. Once he finished, I was very thrilled. He gave me wonderful advise and set me on the right path to having no pain. Overall, I absolutely recommend him, he's caring and friendly. He also knows what he's doing. Unlike the pasts dentists I've had, who just treat you like another patient, Dr.Kuo values his patients and I know I will come back to him. I once had a dentist who told me I needed 15 cavities just by looking quick at my teeth, I didn't believe him and when I asked Dr. Kuo he didn't assume but made sure his intuition of only having 3 cavities was correct. My friend from Monrovia saw Dr. Brian Kuo for a dental checkup and he was very happy with their services, so he referred me to see Dr. Kuo. I am from Alhambra so the clinic is close to my home. When I called to make a consultation, the staff Debbie was very helpful with setting me up with an appointment that fits my schedule. I love that the clinic sometimes opens on Sunday as a favor to patient! Outstanding service from the moment I entered the door. I did not wait long to see Dr. Kuo. After getting the x-ray done, Dr. Kuo explained to me what the treatment was going to look like and gave me a break down of the cost. I did not have dental insurance (bummer), but the fee was still very affordable! I decided to get my tooth fixed and a cleaning in the same visit. The process was SO fast and painless. Dr. Kuo was excellent!! I went to him after my dentist told me I needed ~$2000 in dental work, including 9 cavities that he emphasized cannot be visualized by x-ray. This seemed surprising/fishy to me as I have had no cavities thus far, and so I went to Dr. Kuo for second opinion. He was patient, listened to my concerns, and re-evaluated my dental health. In the end, I only needed a regular cleaning and better flossing at a certain area. I am so glad I found Dr. Kuo. In addition, his staff was efficient and friendly. A good dentist is really hard to find. So when you find one gotta give props. I was visiting my friend in LA, and woke up with an indescribable pain shooting down the side of my face I'm going back up to my head at first I thought I was having an aneurysm. I found dr. Kuo through a friend. Dr. Kuo was able to get me in right away. He was very knowledgeable and broke things down very slowly so that I could understand. You show me the X-ray and said that the Decay had gone to my nerve and that I needed a root canal. Now I've had root canals in the past and I'm not a fan so I was very reluctant to agree to treatment. From the injection to the end of the root canal I had no pain better yet I don't have pain now. The procedure was very fast but I didn't feel rushed which was pretty awesome. Long story short dr. Kuo was able to take care of my pain he furthermore restore my faith in root canals.
