This office seems more focused on enforcing fees than caring for patients. I had been to this dental office three times and even brought my children in for care, planning to continue as a long-term patient. I initially thought I just had a mild cold and would still be able to make my appointment. However, my symptoms worsened and my coughing became severe, making it impossible for me to undergo dental treatment. I left a voicemail about two days before my appointment to reschedule. I was then told it "didn't count" because it was left after business hours, and therefore I would still be charged under their "48 business hours" rule. This kind of rigid and technical interpretation is unreasonable and shows a lack of basic consideration for patients. I will not be returning and would not recommend this office. read more

The best service I've ever received by far! I've had bad experiences before and thus took some time to research a good dentist. I needed 2 crowns , cleaning, and filling. They were so great with helping me understand about financing, causes to teeth decay, prevention post visits and other stuff I either had no knowledge of or I was not prioritizing. My wife and I saw Dr. Jahani numerous times over the span of about 2 years. Everyone there is very nice, pleasant, and friendly. The main issue I had with this dentist, is that I experienced pain in one of my teeth when biting into food (not all the time, but only once in awhile) which I experienced for about a year. I saw Dr. Jahani about this around 3-4 times and he wasn't quite sure what the cause of it was. He thought it may have to do with my bite, so he adjusted the contact points with my teeth. The pain continued and on subsequent visits, Dr. Jahani would continue to make adjustments which continued to leave the problem unresolved. I have since gone to another dentist who after 1 visit was able to identify and fix the issue. Aside from this, one other area I wasn't too happy about was around scheduling. There were many times I had an appointment scheduled and I would receive calls asking if I wanted to change to an earlier appointment. On another occasion, I had an appointment that they had to cancel. My days can be quite busy and calls can be quite disruptive. That said, I personally do not want to receive calls asking to change my appointments to an earlier time. I just want to show up for the appointment I have. Lastly, after a visit to this dental office, I would often receive a bill in the mail for some small amount such as $2, $7, etc. I understand these are to cover any gaps between what was owed and what insurance paid, but other dental offices as well as other doctors offices I've been to didn't send me these. All in all, they were a bit annoying to have to deal with. These bills, along with the issues around scheduling, made this dental office feel a bit high maintenance which was simply not a good fit for me. read more

I can't recommend this place enough. I had an emergency situation where I was in so much pain from a procedure done the day before where they said there was nothing they could do for my tooth, and it had to be extracted. The horror that I felt, I was desperate to help stop the pain. Luckily I found this gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel this sense of calmness. The staff is super friendly, and it's almost a spa-like environment instead of the usual old-fashioned dentistry that makes you tense up just thinking about what comes next. Instead, cool, relaxing music is playing in the background, creating a tranquil atmosphere. I got seated, and Dr. Jahani explained thoroughly with a lot of detail the possibility of saving my tooth. He wanted to try his absolute best to save it, even if that meant he had to adjust his schedule around me. Keep in mind this was a Friday afternoon when most people want to get their weekend started early, but not here. He really did care for my pain and well-being and went above and beyond. I also mentioned that I had a wedding to attend the next day, and he did everything he could to make sure that cosmetically I looked my best for the wedding. The tooth is still a work in progress, and we're trying our best to save it; however, I left PAIN-FREE, which is the most important part. I work in Customer Service, and I know how important it is to establish that trusting relationship with a customer. Dr. Jahani did just that, and I can't wait to bring my kids here. I don't understand this dentistry office. Most dental offices range from indifferent to mean. However, Arcadia Dentistry is the nicest office I have ever visited! The front desk staff were all kind, helpful, and they welcomed me to the office THREE times! All of the people who worked on my teeth were kind, and sensitive to my needs. The treatments didn't hurt at all, and they even gave me a blanket, because I was chilly from the air conditioning. And, the office is super clean, and pleasing to the eye. What a blessing to be guided by the universe to find Dr. Jahani's dental Clinic, Arcadia Dentistry. I have major anxiety just by a thought of a dental clinic and have been avoiding as long as I can. So finally , early this year I decided to visit a clinic in Monrovia . My experience was awful, I'd give it zero star if that is an option .I was traumatized by this dentist comment ; she told me my home care dental habits are poor so I'm needing scaling and planing. I was crushed , embarrassed and felt so judged. Because of that comment, my relationship with her started and ended at that visit. I know a lot of people has anxieties going to a dental clinic and definitely ,she made it worst for me. So back to present , Arcadia Dentistry!! What a blessing!! Really. From the moment I sent a text message to his office , to speaking with Vern over the phone . I have nothing but a pleasing and relaxed feeling making my first appointment . Vern was lovely, kind and soft spoken, so accommodating and made me feel so welcome. A couple of days later from that phone call, I went in and met Dr. Jahani. What a wonderful , kind, gentle,caring , respectful , attentive Dr. Jahani is. I have never felt that kind of relax and at ease before while in a dental office. I knew I was in the hand of an expert and a caring Doctor. One of my appointments , I showed up an hour early because I thought my appt was at that time. Dr. Jahani came to me and said he will do his very best to help me earlier since my appt is not until 9am and sure he did. I never experience that before where a doctor makes an effort to see me earlier . At my other doctors office, I was either waiting for an hour or told to reschedule Crystal my hygienist was the best! Everyone is amazing . What I love too is Dr. Jahani tells you every step of the way of the treatment plan and always gives a gentle reminder of what's about to happen when working on my tooth. She's meticulous and I love how I feel after I leave the office. When I first started coming to this office, I hadn't been to a dentist in several years and once I started seeing Val, she helped bring back the health of my gums and teeth. The drs are amazing too. Dr Ali is amazing! I had come in due to two old crowns which were cracked. Dr Ali was able to help me get the old crowns off and take care of getting the new pieces in place in record time. I had a busy travel schedule and somehow Dr Ali was able to work with the lab to get the new crowns made very quickly and actually better than the old crowns ever were. But what truly impresses me is how calm and easy Dr Ali presents himself. He is very nice and always seems to work with confidence and not feel rushed. He works hard to be gentle and help me feel relaxed and is very careful about pain and anxiety during the procedures. His staff is also very accommodating and nice as well. Great dental office. I had a great experience at Arcadia Dentistry! Even from my first phone conversation with Almara (front desk), I felt like this office was an extremely welcoming place. I hadn't gone to a dentist in maybe 7 years, and coming here made me realize that it's actually something that is not that hard to do (if you are able to go) and is definitely worth it for the sake of your overall health, but especially that of your teeth. I really enjoyed how open and conversational everyone was - I feel like they care about you not only as a patient but as an individual. When there are other clients/patients to see, it's hard to stay with one patient for long, but I truly appreciate how patiently and thoroughly Dr. Jahani and the rest of the staff listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I left the office with so much great advice on how to take care of my teeth too! It feels like they're setting you up to have great dental care not only when you are in for an appointment, but also in between as well. I also had a complicated root canal which Dr. Jahani started but then recommended that I see an endodontist in order to finish it. I appreciate that he was honest about that and referred me out when he realized it required a specialist. I wasn't able to finish the root canal here but I did have a full 4-quadrant deep cleaning with one of their dental hygienists. My teeth haven't been so clean in years! I already have my next cleaning scheduled for March. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Jahani. I have severe dental anxiety that's kept me away from the dentist for at least 6 years but honestly probably longer. But I had a cavity that couldn't be ignored anymore. Dr Jahani and his staff were so AMAZING. They were kind and not judgmental at all when I told them about my anxiety. They all went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Dr. Jahani was so gentle and I could barely feel the anesthesia injections he gave me. Going to Arcadia Dentistry has been the best experience I've ever had in a Dental Office. Here's why: 1. Online/Mobile Registration and Text Notifications: New Patient Form online was very easy to complete and convenient, saving a lot of time. I received confirmation and appointment updates through texts, which made my first visit as efficient as I ever experienced before. I didn't wait to see someone, they were expecting me as they greeted me with smiles and such kind words. Their professionalism is top notch really made me feel the most comfortable I ever felt in a Dental Office. 2. Examination/Diagnosis/Procedure: I came in for a routine check up, and because one of my crowns fell off. I was highly recommended by a family member to visit this office. I am so grateful that I decided to visit. The examination confirmed I needed a cleaning, but not just any regular cleaning. I was told by the Hygienist (Ruby) that I would require a deep cleaning. I had never in my prior Dentist experiences been offered that type of procedure. She did an amazing job, very knowledgeable, communicative, and thoughtful. Took my sensitivity concerns, and applied the correct amount of anesthesia that prevented me from feeling any pain. Dr. Jahani is such an amazing Doctor, very friendly, caring and extremely knowledgeable. After examining my crowns he determined they weren't placed on my tooth correctly and he advised to replace them as they were causing infection to my gums. He also recommended to change my crowns for porcelain, best decision I could have made. I am extremely pleased with all the work that was done, and I highly recommend them. If you are looking for an honest and very professional office atmosphere, where they listen and take the utmost care of you then Arcadia Dentistry is the office for you. I really like Dr. Jahani and his team. I have been coming to this office long before Dr. Jahani bought the practice and yes I can say the office/practice has changed a bit. I like the changes I have seen so far. The music is more upbeat, the appointments dont seem to take as long, the equipment has been updated, and the office personnel are not as aggressive as the previous team. I always felt like my privacy was intruded on before and I have not felt that way with the new team. Dr. Jahani's work is top notch. Have had a couple of crowns placed with him and there is a noticeable difference in placing and look of them. I recommend his practice. read more
