Unfortunately, because the growth protruded out, I would occasionally bite it while eating, which caused it to get larger. My dentist recommended having it removed before it became worse, and I'm so glad I was referred to Huntington Oral Surgery & Implant Center. Dr. Neimann was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and informative. He took the time to clearly explain the removal procedure, what to expect, and the healing process, while being completely transparent throughout. The entire staff was professional, understanding, and knowledgeable. The removal itself was quick and painless since they properly numbed the area, and my recovery was surprisingly fast. Aftercare was also very thoughtful--they sent me home with a bag of gauze (which I didn't end up needing), an ice pack (a fantastic idea since I didn't have to go get one), and chapstick. They also provided Dr. Niemann's personal mobile number in case any issues or questions arose after hours, which gave me a lot of peace of mind during recovery. I genuinely don't know where they're coming from…read more I scheduled an appointment for a routine cleaning, X-rays, and to confirm whether I had a cavity on one wisdom tooth--something my previous dentist would typically complete in under an hour. Instead, the visit lasted approximately 2.5 hours. A significant amount of time was spent on X-rays and a very slow cleaning before I saw the dentist for only about 15 minutes. While the X-ray assistant and hygienist were professional and kind, the appointment felt unnecessarily drawn out. When I finally saw the dentist, the focus quickly shifted to recommending PRF with wisdom teeth removal, and additional treatments such as Invisalign and inlays that had never been suggested by any of my previous providers. My original question--whether I had a cavity--wasn't even clearly addressed until I asked directly, at which point I was told, "yes, but it's small," with minimal explanation. At checkout, I was informed that although my insurance would cover most of the wisdom tooth extractions, this office requires PRF at a cost of $729 PER TOOTH, completely out of pocket. When I explained that I did not want PRF because of the cost and asked to proceed with the extractions without it, I was told they would not perform them unless I paid for PRF. I ultimately went to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for a second opinion and had my wisdom teeth removed there instead. After insurance, my total cost was only $400 for 3 wisdom teeth removal. I specifically asked the surgeon about PRF, and he told me that I absolutely did not need it for my case. That made my experience at this office even more concerning. To be clear, PRF may be appropriate or beneficial in certain cases. My issue is with an office requiring a costly elective add-on as a condition of performing an otherwise covered procedure, particularly when the specialist I subsequently saw did not believe it was necessary in my case. While the staff was courteous and the facility is modern, the inefficiency, lack of transparency, pressure toward additional treatments, and overall sales-driven approach left me extremely uncomfortable. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to expensive treatment here.

My first visit (10/24) to her she showed me pics stating that she has 10 yrs of experience doing teeth bonding. She also told me about her happy client. She charges $150 per tooth. I paid a total of $600. After three sessions with her (10/24, 10/17, 10/24) , she did my teeth bonding. I was very unhappy the first time when she was done. I never write reviews let alone a BAD review, but this is a first. Originally my teeth were straight but had gaps. To "fill" them in, she made one tooth more crooked looking. She said it was natural. Although you can't see it in the photo, natural meant a black speck up close in her bonding material, scratches on the top surface from her sanding, and not to mention she didn't even cover my whole tooth, so there's space for plaque build up between the gum and the bonding material. Also when she was sanding, she lost control and sanded my lip AND dropped a sanding disc in my open mouth. Separate occasions, I kid you not. She didn't even apologize until I gurgled on her sanding disc. When she was done, and she could see I was very unhappy with the results, she got defensive and said that I didn't pay enough to get better results. Apparently if I wanted better results she said I should've gotten veneers. she sold me bonding as a better alternative. I pointed out bumps that she didn't sand out and the scratches on the surface of my bonded teeth. Her attitude was beyond my belief. I trusted her. What a money grubber. At the end she was pissed more than I was. I'm hard to anger, but today (11/2) my tooth actually chipped after just one and a half weeks of having them done by her. (See pic for evidence!) I was eating a piece of bread. I could've swallowed it! And the part that fell off sits on my tooth and not the gap! I'm going to have to go to another dentist to get this totally redone.
