Been going to Dr law like what seems to be for ever like 14 years at least! He's seen us before we had kids and is also a great dentist to my kids. He's really patient and gentle with his work. Very personable and did I mention he's great with kids. He's worked on my daughters teeth when she had an accident and had to do a root canal...mind you she was two and didnt complain of pain during or after the procedure, nor was she scared. He has a calming soothing method to help my kids always be relaxed and not afraid of the dentist. i had made an appointment for a dental cleaning 2 months prior. a few days before my appointment, the office called for my insurance information. then two days before my appointment, the office requested my dental records/x-ray. i said that i was simply going for a dental cleaning and that's it. i didn't have any intentions of becoming a regular client. how hard could that be? i didn't need x-rays because i already had them done at the beginning of this year. basic scrapping of my tartar and polish. easy peasy, right? NO. because when the office discovered i intended to visit once before going back to my old dentist (my current insurance doesn't cover my dentist but will change insurance so i can get him next year), the office CANCELS my appointment. wow, refusing business in today's economy?! i didn't realize i can't go to dr. law's office for simple services. i haven't never met dr. law and i'm sure he's great. however, i question how his office operates. read more

Dr. Law is an excellent dentist. I came in for my consultation, and I was highly impressed. There is not a waiting room full of people to be seen by a number of different Dr assistants. You are exclusive for that consultation and only to be seen by Dr. Law. His assistant took my X-rays from the same chair that I got my teeth cleaned from. Dr. Law explained everything he was doing, step-by-step. He did a great job examining the entire mouth. He measured my gums, checked the back of my throat, and took pictures of tartar buildup. When it was time for cleaning, his assistant handed me some glasses/googles to keep from water jumping in my eyes. After the cleaning, he showed me how to floss properly, and handed me a roll of floss. :) n' on my left, there was a glass full of mouth wash by the sink. Dr. John Law is a great dentist! I have been going to him ever since he started his practice! He does a great job of communicating and is honest! He won't tell you about stuff that's wrong with you, to try and make a buck! Unlike other medical people that I have encountered that just wants you for your co-pay, Dr. John also spends the time with each patient to answer any questions that you may have. I can honestly say since my first visit, about 4 years ago, I make sure I never miss a check up with Dr. Law. Not only do I go there, but my husband and 2 kids go there as well. Dr. Law works great with kids. They have no idea they are getting a shot in their mouth... thats how good he is. My husband has a high tolerance for anesthesia so working on him is a bit difficult. But Dr Law is always on top of making sure my husband is comfortable and not in pain. Dr Law makes sure to go over anything you are concerned about. He makes you feel like an actual person not just another number. The staff is also very friendly. Maria and Jessica always make us feel welcomed. Great Dentist! Believe the reviews...just not too fast...I need more appointments! Everything that was stated by the others cannot be overstated. Dr. Law is a pretty laid-back guy, and my guess is that he understands that people get a little nervous about being the dentist's chair, knowing they're going to get drilled and then need to open their wallets to follow!!! He was totally thorough: explained what was wrong with my tooth and the adjacent areas, proposed the remedy and the length of time that would be needed for each procedure, and reassured me that everything would be as good as new. I'm looking forward to the next appointments, as like so many people: you don't realize that you need a dentist until you need a dentist: otherwise, you just assume all is well if you brush and floss. It was not working out with my current dentist. I found Dr. Law via YELP with the help of the reviews. I was so pleased after my visit. Dr. Law rocks! He is very thorough with his exam. He also communicates the process of the procedure as it is happening. He also made sure I was in a place of comfort at all times. Make your checkup appts at least one month in advance! He's a busy one! Dentists are such a touchy topic, but I'm actually glad to have found my forever dentist! He is gentle as he is thorough and is never trying to sell you anything you don't need. I came in with a wisdom tooth issue and he actually suggested that I wait and didn't push to pull them out until it is necessary. His office is clean and has all the tools handy. The front desk girls were nice and they called prior to my appointment to confirm. The only caveat is that an appt may be a month out or so, but that only means he's in high demand! read more

I love Dr. Law! He is a great dentist and he is super with kids! I have 4 kids and they all look forward to going to the dentist. He knows how to engage them and make them feel comfortable. (The "treasure box" also helps. :) ) I appreciate that he does the cleaning himself and does a thorough exam. My friends and I love John! I've visited John three or four times in the past year and have had only wonderful experiences in his office. His staff is very friendly and professional - they know me by name! His office is also very tidy and clean, yet homey and welcoming. John himself is extremely knowledgeable; he also makes a great conversationalist. I've never had a more thorough checkup by any dentist. He even spotted right away that I needed a root canal. Ditto on everything else that everyone said before me. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Law for years and so have other members of my family. If you can believe it, a few of us even compete to see who had the better check-up. As someone who used to let years pass in between dental visits, this says a lot. Since I no longer have that hangup about visiting the dentist, my goal to keep my teeth and gums healthy well into my golden years has grown. (I'm talking normal preventitive maintenance, not the dental OCD my sister has.) Dr. Law is so personable, that our check-ups are more like visiting a friend who just happens to check on your oral care while you're catching up with each other. Nice office, friendly and professional staff, thorough and efficient check-ups...there's really nothing I can rate negatively. The only downside for us is location, but since we really do love our dentist, the drive from Burbank to Arcadia two times a year is definitely worth it. read more

I've been going to Dr. Law since 2004. I couldn't be more happier with his work & service. He is the type of dentist that is NOT gonna BS of work you need done.
