Dr. Thai was referred to me by another dental specialist. I asked who does he go to, and he personally shared that he goes to Dr. Thai - then to me, that's a really good feedback. I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Thai. He is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and patient in explaining everything. I truly felt that he cares about his patients, especially during a tooth emergency. His accommodating nature made a significant difference, and it's evident that he knows exactly what he's doing. On top of that, the new office is very clean, which added to my comfort during the visit. read more

I'm very thankful to have been referred to this office. Very beautiful office and everyone there was very kind, friendly and welcoming. Thank you again for a great experience. read more

Please do yourself a favor and get different opinions before starting treatment here. I was Dr. Wang's patient over 10 years ago and a victim of healthy teeth extraction. Now that I'm older and more informed, I wouldn't recommend extractions to anyone due to the insane number of side effects both physically and mentally. A few of my side effects include smaller palette (tongue doesn't lay comfortably, flat side profile, and inward facing teeth. There are various different methods for fixing crowded teeth and I just wish I had been more informed about my options. Why are we still extracting healthy teeth with all the technology available to us? Teeth extraction is antiquated, lazy, and inhumane. Find a dentist who won't remove healthy teeth or you'll end up with life long respiratory problems. i am now living with irreversible consequences over a bad recommendation. read more

I hardly ever write reviews for non-restaurants/cafes/eateries, but I really need to express my appreciation for this dental office and share it with the world. Quick backstory: I've been suffering from TMJ disorder for a few years now, and only until recently has it gotten so bad that I could barely eat or talk without pain shooting down the entire right side of my face. After researching some dentists in the area, I found Dentaldontics, with their professional website, and exceptional reviews. I quickly made an appt and the process for a new patient was so simple - I could print out the new patient forms online and just bring it to them. I was supposed to go in for a first assessment, where pictures and exams would be taken for Dr. Thai to assess what kind of treatment (if any) I would need. But since my TMJ was so bad, he focused all his time and effort into fixing that. By doing so, it showed me he truly cares about what I want and need from my dentist, rather than trying to fix other things that I may or may not need. Note: Dr. Thai is NOT a TMJ specialist, but his knowledge and experience with the subject is so extensive I like to consider him a specialist regardless of title. He has thorough research and explanations to support his decisions and is very comprehensive in the way he treats his patients' treatments. Him and his assistant, Karina, make visits to the dentist rewarding - they put patient care above all else and TRULY listen to you and your expectations. I may sound a bit dramatic when I say this... but I am truly so incredibly grateful I found Dr. Thai and Karina. I thought my TMJ would be a permanent disorder I would have to deal with for my entire life - making it impossible to ever have a normal jaw ever again. But they gave me hope. Although TMJ is a very gray subject matter and there is no clear solution, I have faith that I will be able to live with it with a better understanding of what to do during which type of symptoms. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If you want to experience what true patient care feels like. read more

I've been a patient for almost 4 years now and (thankfully) have never needed to have any work done aside from semi-annual cleanings. Well, on a Saturday night I chipped a tooth. I called first thing Monday morning and was able to come in later that day. Apparently, I had actually chipped 2 teeth and Dr. Thai was able to get them both fixed and looking better than before. I was worried about the pain because I had the same teeth fixed before and remembered it being incredibly painful. I felt nothing other than the vibrations of the drills! The entire staff is wonderful so if you're looking for a new dentist, this is the place! read more

Read all these great reviews about Dr. Thai before going in for my appt and I was not disappointed at all. I had concerns about my TMJ and had been to chiropractors and other dentists about it before but never felt like they understood my discomfort or knew how to help me. Dr. Thai explained everything so clearly and easily that I now have a completely new understanding of TMJ. I felt like he truly understood what my concerns were and what I needed. Plus everyone at the front desk were super nice! read more

Dr. Thai, Annie, and the entire team at Arcadia Dentaldontics are absolutely incredible, truly care about the well-being of you and your teeth, patient, and kind! After struggling with many years of self confidence and shame surrounding my dental care, I am so thankful to have finally gathered the courage to pay them a visit. For anyone else struggling with it too--you will be heard and you will be well taken care of! They have been nothing short of constructive and compassionate, and have truly restored the self confidence in my smile/oral care. That alone is truly priceless. Thank you!!! read more

I have been with going to this dental clinic for over twenty years and have seen at least two times in change of ownership. Despite of change of management, the quality of service remain superb. Janet is an amazing hygienist. You'll find her friendly, an experienced expert and does a real thorough job of cleaning. Dr Thai is really a friendly expert in dentistry. Coming out of this dental office I always feel like getting a new bill of health. I really recommend this dental office to anyone. read more

I highly recommend this dentist. They cost a little more than other dentists, but are much better and worth the higher cost. They have new equipment and the staff are knowledgable and very good at explaining medical facts to laymen. They are friendly, trustworthy, and do their best to help you. I had an accident at work where I had the half of my front two teeth knocked out. I called this dentist immediately after the accident and they moved their appointments around to accommodate me and see me same day within 3 hours of my accident. They repaired my teeth and now my front teeth are as good as new. Thanks! They also surprised me by showing me that I had a condition where a bone in my jaw on one side was longer than the other causing issues in my bite. Something that no other dentist had noticed and explained to me. Edit: After my accident, workers comp wanted me to provide alot of paperwork from the dentist so I could get reimbursed. I brought the paperwork over to Arcadia Dentaldontics and they filled everything out for me! Saved me $1,200. Thank you! read more

Dr. Thai is one of those rare medical professionals you come across in your lifetime that is so adept at their craft, that you'll follow them anywhere. I have bounced around to a lot of dentists over the years, some good, some bad, which is why I'm so glad I stumbled upon Dr. Thai. I used to have a dentist in Santa Barbara that I liked quite a lot. When I moved here to Los Angeles, I struggled to find anyone even close to the same caliber as my dentist in Santa Barbara... so what did I do? I kept driving up to Santa Barbara every 6 months for my checkups. That's how important it is to me that I find a quality dentist. Eventually someone was kind enough to recommend Dr. Thai to me. Since meeting Dr. Thai, I can safely say that I have never been to a better dentist in my life. If you're having problems with a tooth, or just need a checkup, the only advice I can give you would be to stop wasting further time on yelp, and make an appointment with Dr. Thai, right away. read more

Been seeing Dr. Thai for about 15, 16 years now (at is previous two practices and at Arcadia Dentaldontics). He's the best dentist ever! Super meticulous, professional, responsive, gentle, lasting work, trust worthy, etc. He treats my husband and me like family. I always recommend Dr. Thai to everyone I know. read more

Totally deserving of a 5 star! TY to fellow helpers for guiding me to Dr. Thai. As with many people, dentists are not on ones favorite list. I shared with Dr. Thai the source of my anxiety from childhood and he listened. He is super patient. Professional. Meticulous. Skilled. Most importantly, you truly feel his goal is to help you keep your teeth! Went to previous dentists and one suggested pulling them. He took the time to educate me the pros and cons. In the end, we decided it was better to preserve the tooth which was better for function, health and $. Celia the office manager is just as awesome as is his hygienists. Even before I went into the office for my first consult, Celia checked my insurance and shared with me what I would expect to pay. With the same insurance plan I had at my previous dentist, I was shocked to hear that what this office was charging me was less The overwhelming sense I got from all the staff is they value their patients and their comfort. During my first cleaning, Dr. Thai personally checked in on me to make sure I was ok and asked the hygienists to "give her as many breaks as she needs." This is a dentist that truly cares. Dr. Thai referred me to a periodontist and I was pleasantly suprised to have Celia call me to ask me how the consult went and then 2 weeks later to ask me how the procedure went. I have no hesitation to recc this office to anyone. Since changing over my care to this office 2 mos ago, my husband has now started to use this office and is pleased as I. My own patient is now in the process of transfer their dental care too. I will continue to recommend this office as they seem to be truly "at the top of their game." read more

Dr. Mike Thai is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever had in my lifetime. He truly cares about his patients and does everything in his power to make you feel at ease. In came into his office with a cavity, and he took extra time to make sure I felt no pain and to make sure my bite felt completely natural after he had completed his work. I also really appreciate how he took the time to really explain what he was doing and clearly answer any questions I had. The office is very clean and organized, and there was virtually no wait time for me. Maria, at the front desk is so nice and charming that she probably creates rainbows around the world. She also very efficient with the admin side of things and makes the process easy. Dr. Thai is always honest, his work is meticulous, and his staff is awesome. I highly recommend Arcadia Dentaldontics. My experience has always been great. read more

I'm not one to usually post reviews on yelp but this place truly deserves a positive one! My first time here, I got my semi-chipped front teeth aesthetically fixed by Dr Thai in the most simplest but economical way and It's lasted for over a year. Recently I've had some issues with a tooth that will eventually need an implant- I came back here to see Dr Thai and he has been more than helpful by giving me several options to fix this area which has made me feel very secure and comforting knowing that it will be taken care of. They most definitely know what they are doing and they do it in the best way possible. Not to mention, the entire office is friendly and welcoming and will do the best they can to take care of you. I highly recommend this practice to anyone that has dental issues because as a patient I definitely feel I made the right choice by coming here and will continue to do so for a very long time! read more

Dr. Thai is far and away the most genuinely caring dentist I have encountered. He is patient, highly knowledgeable, and considerate. I've been to many dentists over the years due to my problematic teeth, but now that I've found Dr. Thai, my search for the "right" dentist has ended. My boyfriend and my boyfriend's father are both patients of Dr. Thai and they insisted that I visit him after my previous dentist performed a root canal on the wrong tooth! I am so happy that I took their advice. One of the things that really makes Dr. Thai shine among his peers is that he sees you as a person, not a wallet. He's not interested in charging you for every little thing/follow up visit/etc. He just wants you to be well informed about what's happening with your teeth and what your options are so YOU can decide want YOU want to do in terms of treatment. Of course, he will give you his expert opinion on what the ideal course of action is, but he won't pressure you into high dollar procedures or try to take advantage of you. He's a straight-shooter and somebody I'm very pleased to recommend! read more

As a patient I cannot say enough good things about this office! Both Dr. Michael Thai and Dr. Whang are AWESOME! They are true doctors and not businessmen. Ethical, reasonable, and caring. You know all the doctors say "patients are our number one priority", well a lot of them actually mean it. This place is different. They DO put their patients' wellbeing first. I am truly lucky to have found this office. I have since referred my family and friends. All of them can't thank me enough. It's been 2 years and their quality of care has never wavered. 10 stars (only if I could)! read more

Moving from a different city and due for my annual cleaning, I searched long for an exceptional dentist that also took my insurance. That's when I came across Dr. Thai. Coming from a long history of bad dentists, I was very skeptical of all the marvelous ratings patients reviewed about him. However, my initial appointment with Dr. Thai and his staff was by far the most easy going and thorough procedure I have ever experienced in a dental office. Dr. Thai not only told me what he was going to do but he also explained why and how it was going be to done. He is always very polite, courteous, and always tries to do the best job possible without any pain. After years of having an old crown, Dr. Thai noticed that I had developed some decay (not something my other dentists have mentioned to me before and I get annual cleanings and x-rays). So, he went ahead and removed the old crown, thoroughly cleaning the tooth, and replaced the crown, precisely matching the enamel color to the rest of my teeth. Also, Dr. Thai and his hygenist were very gentle and helpful when it came to cleaning my teeth and gums after telling them I suffer from TMJ (not something I've experienced at other dental offices). I was fitted for a new night guard as well during my third visit and Dr. Thai gave me his best recommendation. It was a completely different night guard, not as bulky or stiff. This I could actually wear during the day time to help with clenching. Overall, Dr. Thai and his staff deserve 5 stars for being exveptionally thorough, polite, courteous, and generous. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Thai and his office if you are looking for quality treatment with doctors that care about you. They are amazing! I rarely write reviews (as you can see from my profile) but I knew I had to for other people that may not like going to the dentist which is how I used to be. As previous reviews have noted Dr. Thai is patient and skillful. He has so much knowledge and you can tell he truly cares about you and your teeth. He teaches you as well so you understand your treatment plan. His office is clean and very friendly. It's easy to make an appointment and they have great at reminders for follow up/cleaning appointments. Dental care is typically associated with pain and negative feelings however Dr. Thai and his office are changing the game. I always leave their office feeling better than before. My mind is at ease that I have taken care of teeth which is important part of overall health and wellness. read more

I love the staff and dentists here! I have followed them for years through various locations. Great and friendly staff that remember your name, are caring and make sure you have a great experience. I know people drive from really far away for the excellent care you receive here. And their conservative philosophy aligns with mine so I know I won't get any unnecessary treatments and they care about the preservation of my beautiful smile. Pros: -Great location near freeway -Never busy - they keep a tight calendar, so don't miss your appointments and if you must cancel, do it way in advance -Excellent staff and oral care -Clean and relaxing facility -High tech - they were able to interact with my full team of doctors (surgeon, ortho) so everyone is on the same page read more

I normally don't right reviews but I feel that Dr. Thai is by far the best dentist I've ever used. Not only was he great, but it was painless and to me that is very important. Most Doctors don't care if you feel pain but Dr. Thai truly cares for his patients. I was really happy with all the work done and I finally feel like I found the perfect place. Besides the entire staff being so friendly, I truly appreciate the front office Lady named Maria. Extremely friendly and I love the fact that she called me to remind me of my appointment. Kudos to everyone there, thank you for such great service. read more

When I was kid, a dentist had to pull out a tooth and told me to raise my hand if there was pain. He did not use Novocain. Of course it was painful and I raised my hand higher and higher crying hysterically. He never stopped until the tooth was out. This memory stuck with me ever since and I tried avoiding the dentist as much as I could growing up. For someone like me who is afraid of going to the dentist from bad experience, the switch to PPO to try out Dr. Thai upon recommendations is something I will never look back on. I have been using HMO dental insurance all my life and ran into poor dentist plenty of times. Some do a rush job, some painful, and many try to sell you on procedures you do not really need. This was my first visit at the office and I already noticed a difference in my comfort level. Dr. Thai has good communication skills and this has been the most detailed teeth cleaning I have had. I am use to dentists finishing quicker and shoving me off to the assistant for polishing. He answered all my questions. They actually got me in within my appointment time. read more

As a patient at Arcadia Dentaldontics, I can simply say that I have been very pleased on a variety of levels. First of all, the staff is very friendly and they will work to accommodate your scheduling needs and they take the time to explain what the costs are for your respective treatments. Second, I've been having my teeth cleaned at this office by Janet for years and she is very thorough and is genuinely concerned about my teeth's well-being. Lastly, Dr. Thai, much like the rest of his team is also thorough as he takes the time to explain what the issues may be with your teeth. Moreover, Dr. Thai ensures that you understand your treatment options and he does not push you towards a treatment that is either not needed, or a treatment you may not comfortable with. Basically, he is honest and wants to help you with your respective teeth issues. In short, I am happy to be a patient at Dentaldontics and recommend them without reservation...see you in the waiting room. read more

Had a brief consult w Dr. Michael, very patient and knowledgable. He is a very quality doctor, no wonder everyone raves about him :)

Today was my first visit to this office and I'll start by saying I have never had a bad dental experience, except that my last visit at a different office was unimpressive. That being said: this place is the textbook definition of courteousness, thoroughness, professionalism, and is very welcoming. The doctor went through the trouble of explaining everything in great detail and giving me my best options based on what we both reviewed together and the supporting staff is just as professional and are very competent in their job. I am very happy and fortunate that I found this place and this will remain my proprietary office as long as humanly possible. read more

So this review is not in any way directed towards the Dr. there. We have used this office for years for both dental and orthodontist services. I have never been so disrespected by a office staff in my life until today. I called and came in because my daughter needed a replacement retainer, the first receptionist never really did anything wrong other than not knowing answers to any of my questions. However then I encountered Lin the new "office manager". What a joke. She was extremely rude and would not let me speak. She refused to send off a claim to my insurance company to see if I can get coverage, then would talk over me every time I would try to speak. Unfortunately there are lots of dental offices around and will lose plenty of clients if this is the new behavior that is accepted from there office staff. Just very sad this is what this office has became. read more
