Please do yourself a favor and get different opinions before starting treatment here. I was Dr. Wang's patient over 10 years ago and a victim of healthy teeth extraction. Now that I'm older and more informed, I wouldn't recommend extractions to anyone due to the insane number of side effects both physically and mentally. A few of my side effects include smaller palette (tongue doesn't lay comfortably, flat side profile, and inward facing teeth. There are various different methods for fixing crowded teeth and I just wish I had been more informed about my options. Why are we still extracting healthy teeth with all the technology available to us? Teeth extraction is antiquated, lazy, and inhumane. Find a dentist who won't remove healthy teeth or you'll end up with life long respiratory problems. i am now living with irreversible consequences over a bad recommendation. read more

I hardly ever write reviews for non-restaurants/cafes/eateries, but I really need to express my appreciation for this dental office and share it with the world. Quick backstory: I've been suffering from TMJ disorder for a few years now, and only until recently has it gotten so bad that I could barely eat or talk without pain shooting down the entire right side of my face. After researching some dentists in the area, I found Dentaldontics, with their professional website, and exceptional reviews. I quickly made an appt and the process for a new patient was so simple - I could print out the new patient forms online and just bring it to them. I was supposed to go in for a first assessment, where pictures and exams would be taken for Dr. Thai to assess what kind of treatment (if any) I would need. But since my TMJ was so bad, he focused all his time and effort into fixing that. By doing so, it showed me he truly cares about what I want and need from my dentist, rather than trying to fix other things that I may or may not need. Note: Dr. Thai is NOT a TMJ specialist, but his knowledge and experience with the subject is so extensive I like to consider him a specialist regardless of title. He has thorough research and explanations to support his decisions and is very comprehensive in the way he treats his patients' treatments. Him and his assistant, Karina, make visits to the dentist rewarding - they put patient care above all else and TRULY listen to you and your expectations. I may sound a bit dramatic when I say this... but I am truly so incredibly grateful I found Dr. Thai and Karina. I thought my TMJ would be a permanent disorder I would have to deal with for my entire life - making it impossible to ever have a normal jaw ever again. But they gave me hope. Although TMJ is a very gray subject matter and there is no clear solution, I have faith that I will be able to live with it with a better understanding of what to do during which type of symptoms. I've been a patient for almost 4 years now and (thankfully) have never needed to have any work done aside from semi-annual cleanings. Well, on a Saturday night I chipped a tooth. I called first thing Monday morning and was able to come in later that day. Apparently, I had actually chipped 2 teeth and Dr. Thai was able to get them both fixed and looking better than before. I was worried about the pain because I had the same teeth fixed before and remembered it being incredibly painful. I felt nothing other than the vibrations of the drills! I highly recommend this dentist. They cost a little more than other dentists, but are much better and worth the higher cost. They have new equipment and the staff are knowledgable and very good at explaining medical facts to laymen. They are friendly, trustworthy, and do their best to help you. I had an accident at work where I had the half of my front two teeth knocked out. I called this dentist immediately after the accident and they moved their appointments around to accommodate me and see me same day within 3 hours of my accident. They repaired my teeth and now my front teeth are as good as new. Thanks! They also surprised me by showing me that I had a condition where a bone in my jaw on one side was longer than the other causing issues in my bite. Something that no other dentist had noticed and explained to me. Edit: After my accident, workers comp wanted me to provide alot of paperwork from the dentist so I could get reimbursed. I shared with Dr. Thai the source of my anxiety from childhood and he listened. He is super patient. Professional. Meticulous. Skilled. During my first cleaning, Dr. Thai personally checked in on me to make sure I was ok and asked the hygienists to "give her as many breaks as she needs." This is a dentist that truly cares. My first time here, I got my semi-chipped front teeth aesthetically fixed by Dr Thai in the most simplest but economical way and It's lasted for over a year. Recently I've had some issues with a tooth that will eventually need an implant- I came back here to see Dr Thai and he has been more than helpful by giving me several options to fix this area which has made me feel very secure and comforting knowing that it will be taken care of. They most definitely know what they are doing and they do it in the best way possible. Not to mention, the entire office is friendly and welcoming and will do the best they can to take care of you. Dr. Thai is far and away the most genuinely caring dentist I have encountered. He is patient, highly knowledgeable, and considerate. I've been to many dentists over the years due to my problematic teeth, but now that I've found Dr. Thai, my search for the "right" dentist has ended. My boyfriend and my boyfriend's father are both patients of Dr. Thai and they insisted that I visit him after my previous dentist performed a root canal on the wrong tooth! I am so happy that I took their advice. One of the things that really makes Dr. Thai shine among his peers is that he sees you as a person, not a wallet. He's not interested in charging you for every little thing/follow up visit/etc. He just wants you to be well informed about what's happening with your teeth and what your options are so YOU can decide want YOU want to do in terms of treatment. Moving from a different city and due for my annual cleaning, I searched long for an exceptional dentist that also took my insurance. That's when I came across Dr. Thai. Coming from a long history of bad dentists, I was very skeptical of all the marvelous ratings patients reviewed about him. However, my initial appointment with Dr. Thai and his staff was by far the most easy going and thorough procedure I have ever experienced in a dental office. Dr. Thai not only told me what he was going to do but he also explained why and how it was going be to done. He is always very polite, courteous, and always tries to do the best job possible without any pain. After years of having an old crown, Dr. Thai noticed that I had developed some decay (not something my other dentists have mentioned to me before and I get annual cleanings and x-rays). So, he went ahead and removed the old crown, thoroughly cleaning the tooth, and replaced the crown, precisely matching the enamel color to the rest of my teeth. Also, Dr. Thai and his hygenist were very gentle and helpful when it came to cleaning my teeth and gums after telling them I suffer from TMJ (not something I've experienced at other dental offices). I was fitted for a new night guard as well during my third visit and Dr. Thai gave me his best recommendation. It was a completely different night guard, not as bulky or stiff. This I could actually wear during the day time to help with clenching. Overall, Dr. Thai and his staff deserve 5 stars for being exveptionally thorough, polite, courteous, and generous. read more

When I was kid, a dentist had to pull out a tooth and told me to raise my hand if there was pain. He did not use Novocain. Of course it was painful and I raised my hand higher and higher crying hysterically. He never stopped until the tooth was out. This memory stuck with me ever since and I tried avoiding the dentist as much as I could growing up. For someone like me who is afraid of going to the dentist from bad experience, the switch to PPO to try out Dr. Thai upon recommendations is something I will never look back on. I have been using HMO dental insurance all my life and ran into poor dentist plenty of times. Some do a rush job, some painful, and many try to sell you on procedures you do not really need. This was my first visit at the office and I already noticed a difference in my comfort level. Dr. Thai has good communication skills and this has been the most detailed teeth cleaning I have had. I am use to dentists finishing quicker and shoving me off to the assistant for polishing. He answered all my questions. They actually got me in within my appointment time. read more

So this review is not in any way directed towards the Dr. there. We have used this office for years for both dental and orthodontist services. I have never been so disrespected by a office staff in my life until today. I called and came in because my daughter needed a replacement retainer, the first receptionist never really did anything wrong other than not knowing answers to any of my questions. However then I encountered Lin the new "office manager". What a joke. She was extremely rude and would not let me speak. She refused to send off a claim to my insurance company to see if I can get coverage, then would talk over me every time I would try to speak. Unfortunately there are lots of dental offices around and will lose plenty of clients if this is the new behavior that is accepted from there office staff.
