Prior to going to Dr. Abed for my orthodontic treatment I was treated by another Dr. that gave me a huge overbite, and I saw no improvement in my teeth for over 2 years. My God were my teeth ugly before this magician did work on them. I had a mouth full of teeth.. Crooked and Ugly teeth to be exact. My mouth was so obnoxiously full of crooked teeth that people would tell me that I had a beautiful smile.. only when my mouth was closed and the teeth were covered. I started my orthodontic treatment with Dr. Abed & his team sometime in February 2013. This was my second time having braces since I didn't follow the other orthodontist's directions to wear my retainers everyday AND NOT to wrap them in a napkin, get them thrown in a trash.. and then boiled. an incident in which I definitely won't repeat! anyways, so Dr. Abed came to the rescue with his awesome financing plan which didn't put a dent on my wallet while I was in school. I already noticed the difference in the way he did things vs. my previous orthodontist. This guy is pretty modern and up to date with whatever orthodontists practice nowadays. I didn't have to wear a headgear, or a cement block in my mouth (to fix my bite), or even have an atrocious amount of metal put in the top of my jaw which I had to do with my previous orthodontist. I didn't just have a pleasant experience, I also had a very memorable one and I would recommend Dr. Abed with confidence! For these reasons.. 1. His staff are very friendly, well trained, and some could even relate with their own experiences of wearing braces. 2. Dr. Abed was able to straighten my teeth in a much shorter time then planned. I gave him about 5 months notice that I was moving out of state and he was able to fulfill my wishes to have these braces off (with straight teeth of course!) by the date I chose. 3. The costs of the braces were affordable with the financing plan. 4. I've been both late and early to appointments and they've always accommodated me. (sorry guys.) 5. Unlike my previous orthodontic experience, I had very few incidences of pain and I only had the braces on for two years exact. 6. I got my retainers the same day! :) oh and be sure to always have the retainers in as Dr. Abed suggests, because you never know when you'll bump into him lol. read more

I recently completed my orthodontic treatment at Dr. Abed's office and I still can't believe the transformation of my smile. I really didn't think it was possible to get such a good result because Im an adult, how crooked my teeth were, and the size of my overbite! Dr. Abed did an amazing job and Im super grateful. I brought my 9 year old daughter with me to get checked and he made her feel so comfortable joking around with her. Just had a wonderful experience at this office. Dr. George Abed is probably the most knowledgeable and thoroughest orthodontist I have ever met so far. My friend Joanna and I came in today for a ortho consultation. We recently finished our Invisalign treatment with another orthodontist. However, there are still some unresolved issue with our biting and alignment that the previous orthodontist just refuses to treat. Therefore; we came in today to get Dr. Abed's opinion and for a consultation and possible treatment. Dr. Abed was very professional, patient, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest. He explained to us each of our cases very thoroughly. My main concern was the two small black holes after the previous ortho treatment. Dr. Abed answered my questions by showing the anatomy of adult teeth and gum which gave me a better understanding of my condition. He also gave me the possible options of treatment along with the pros and cons and his recommendation. He is definitely one of the few knowledgeable and honest doctors today. Some of the doctors are just for the money but Dr. Abed is definitely NOT one of them. My friend was also very happy with the consultation but I wouldn't talk about her case in detail here due to confidentiality. Overall, I am very pleased and grateful to have this wonderful experience at Dr. Abed's office. He is also a very nice person with great sense of humor. I wish I knew him 1.5 years ago so I would choose him as my orthodontist at the first place. But I would definitely come back for my clear retainers in the future. read more

Having braces this late in life was not pleasant for me. For someone who enjoys a wide variety of foods, braces was no fun. It was also no fun when your neices and nephews starts making fun of you and calling you brace face. To semi solve the problem, Dr. Abed gave me the clear braces for my top teeth. Trust me, it makes a world of difference when you smile. Its hardly visible in pictures. Being the professional and patient dr. that he is, he would always educate me on how and what purpose this and that was suppose to work to my advantage. End results are spectacular.
