Dr. Abed is the best! All my life I wished I didn't have gaps between my teeth, and I never thought is possible to make my teeth straight at the age of 46. However, I've met Dr. Abed and he explained to me that we can do it only with invisalign. I still can't believe it how perfect my teeth are now! Please check out my pictures. Dr. Abed did my braces and I am so happy with the results. He's an amazing orthodontist with a great personality. Him and his staff are super personable and know how to make you comfortable. Being an adult with braces is tough, but he made sure it would be worthwhile and my smile would be better. Prior to going to Dr. Abed for my orthodontic treatment I was treated by another Dr. that gave me a huge overbite, and I saw no improvement in my teeth for over 2 years. Luckily, I decided to switch to Dr. Abed for orthodontic treatment. I'm so glad that I went to Dr. Abed. He made my teeth perfectly straight and fixed my overbite. His staff is also very good, quick, and super friendly. I was so happy with my results, I finally had the smile with the straight teeth I always wanted. Great experience all around. My God were my teeth ugly before this magician did work on them. I had a mouth full of teeth.. Crooked and Ugly teeth to be exact. My mouth was so obnoxiously full of crooked teeth that people would tell me that I had a beautiful smile.. only when my mouth was closed and the teeth were covered. I started my orthodontic treatment with Dr. Abed & his team sometime in February 2013. This was my second time having braces since I didn't follow the other orthodontist's directions to wear my retainers everyday AND NOT to wrap them in a napkin, get them thrown in a trash.. and then boiled. an incident in which I definitely won't repeat! anyways, so Dr. Abed came to the rescue with his awesome financing plan which didn't put a dent on my wallet while I was in school. I already noticed the difference in the way he did things vs. my previous orthodontist. This guy is pretty modern and up to date with whatever orthodontists practice nowadays. I didn't have to wear a headgear, or a cement block in my mouth (to fix my bite), or even have an atrocious amount of metal put in the top of my jaw which I had to do with my previous orthodontist. I didn't just have a pleasant experience, I also had a very memorable one and I would recommend Dr. Abed with confidence! For these reasons.. 1. His staff are very friendly, well trained, and some could even relate with their own experiences of wearing braces. 2. Dr. Abed was able to straighten my teeth in a much shorter time then planned. I gave him about 5 months notice that I was moving out of state and he was able to fulfill my wishes to have these braces off (with straight teeth of course!) by the date I chose. 3. The costs of the braces were affordable with the financing plan. 4. I've been both late and early to appointments and they've always accommodated me. (sorry guys.) 5. Unlike my previous orthodontic experience, I had very few incidences of pain and I only had the braces on for two years exact. 6. I got my retainers the same day! :) oh and be sure to always have the retainers in as Dr. Abed suggests, because you never know when you'll bump into him lol. read more

Got my braces off 2 days ago and I have to say I could not be happier about the final result! Dr. Abed and his team are the best! I was one of those late braces boomers who wanted braces at late 20s. After consulting with Dr. Abed, I immediately decided to get my treatment here because of his display of professionalism. It turned out, that was the best decision ever. He and his team were very knowledgable, well-trained, caring, patient and cheerful throughout my treatment. He always took his time to consider my concerns and thoughts on what I wanted and patiently explained to me what he thought. #5starwelldeserved read more

First Impressions The staff is very helpful. Well trained, and they always take that extra step. Every visit someone had something genuine to say to me. I felt as though I was there for a spa day. "Good doctors are good teachers" I left every visit understanding why Dr Abed was doing what he was doing with my teeth. I appreciated knowing what was to be expected ahead of time. I also understood the consequences of not moving forward with treatments. I expect to be informed and educated by my Dr. and Dr Abed does just that. 18 mo later, the results have been fantastic. I highly recommend Dr Abed and his team to anyone needing ortho. read more

I recently completed my orthodontic treatment at Dr. Abed's office and I still can't believe the transformation of my smile. I really didn't think it was possible to get such a good result because Im an adult, how crooked my teeth were, and the size of my overbite! Dr. Abed did an amazing job and Im super grateful. He's a perfectionist, he's patient, nice, and funny! He has an amazing staff who are all very friendly and professional. Dr. Abed is also amazing with kids. I brought my 9 year old daughter with me to get checked and he made her feel so comfortable joking around with her. He said she didn't end up needing braces but due to some crowding and an overbite she may in the future and wanted to keep an eye on her and monitor her growth. My daughter hates going to the dentist, they freak her out but she actually enjoyed visiting Dr. Abed with me when I had my adjustments. If and when he determines she needs braces, there is no doubt she will get her braces done by Dr. Abed. Bottom line, I highly recommend this place! read more

Having braces this late in life was not pleasant for me. For someone who enjoys a wide variety of foods, braces was no fun. It was also no fun when your neices and nephews starts making fun of you and calling you brace face. To semi solve the problem, Dr. Abed gave me the clear braces for my top teeth. Trust me, it makes a world of difference when you smile. Its hardly visible in pictures. Being the professional and patient dr. that he is, he would always educate me on how and what purpose this and that was suppose to work to my advantage. End results are spectacular. My teeth are straight, chips has been smooth out, overbite has been fixed and no more name calling. I would recommend Dr. Abed to anyone who wants to have a pleasent experience when faced with a very unpleasant situation. read more

Just had a wonderful experience at this office. Dr. George Abed is probably the most knowledgeable and thoroughest orthodontist I have ever met so far. My friend Joanna and I came in today for a ortho consultation. We recently finished our Invisalign treatment with another orthodontist. However, there are still some unresolved issue with our biting and alignment that the previous orthodontist just refuses to treat. Therefore; we came in today to get Dr. Abed's opinion and for a consultation and possible treatment. Dr. Abed was very professional, patient, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest. He explained to us each of our cases very thoroughly. My main concern was the two small black holes after the previous ortho treatment. Dr. Abed answered my questions by showing the anatomy of adult teeth and gum which gave me a better understanding of my condition. He also gave me the possible options of treatment along with the pros and cons and his recommendation. He is definitely one of the few knowledgeable and honest doctors today. Some of the doctors are just for the money but Dr. Abed is definitely NOT one of them. My friend was also very happy with the consultation but I wouldn't talk about her case in detail here due to confidentiality. Overall, I am very pleased and grateful to have this wonderful experience at Dr. Abed's office. He is also a very nice person with great sense of humor. I wish I knew him 1.5 years ago so I would choose him as my orthodontist at the first place. But I would definitely come back for my clear retainers in the future. read more

My parents and I have been coming to this office for the last 30 years. So when my own son needed braces, I brought him to Arcadia Dental. After meeting with Dr. Abed I decided to make the trip from the Miracle Mile in Los Angeles to Arcadia, that's how much we liked Dr. Abed. He didn't disappoint us and my 16 yr old thinks he's the best! He had his braces removed in December and my son and our family couldn't be happier with the results. I recommended Dr. Abed to my cousin and she is now taking her little girl there as well. Thank you, Dr. Abed!!!!! read more
