Last December, a strong windstorm sent a tree into the side of our house. Progressive Insurance…read morewas all over the claim. I contacted Eyles to repair the vinyl siding and roof damage. They had done such a great job replacing our roof several years ago, I did not think of calling anyone else. In spite of the weather, the roof was repaired in February. A great job performed by skilled craftsmen. Last week, Jennifer called to ask if it was OK for Don and Gary to come by this past Monday at 8AM to replace the siding. They arrived about 30 minutes early, and by 1 PM, the site was cleaned and cleared and they were gone. It was as though the windstorm had never happened. I cannot express how impressed I am with Robert, Jennifer and everyone I have met from Eyles. BTW, though I sent the Insurance adjuster's paperwork with my request, Robert sent a quote that was below the adjuster's estimate. I am so impressed by my experience with Eyles, that as soon as I receive and invoice, I drive to the office to pay it. I want to make sure that they are in business in the future if I need them.

I can not recommend this company. They installed a roof 14 years ago with 30 year architectural…read moreshingles. I called them a week ago and after several calls and going to their office they finally agrees to fit me in. They said they would be here today. This is also the second time they have not shown no call. Their warranty is crap. I have water leaking into my living roof.

Fantastic response and service. Had a bunch of shingles rip off roof during recent wind storm…read more Called Five Star at 11:00 am, they were out to inspect by 11:30. Quick run to the shop and they were back out and done with the repair by 12:30. $300 for them to install new shingles and repair a few that were coming up. Absolutely recommend them.

"Roofer From Hell" would be a more fitting name for this unethical, incompetent outfit. I hired…read moreFive Star Roofing to do a small job on my multi-family home. They then insisted that I replace the slate portion of my roof with shingles (which wasn't leaking). I said no at first but agreed once they offered me a "deal" as they were slow on work. I was told it would be a 2-day job. After day one my tenant on the top floor had water in her apartment. I figured it was an honest mistake and the job would be completed the next day as it was only a "2-day job." By the third week, my tenant had five buckets going to catch all the water that was coming into her apartment. Five Star Roofing was paid in full and had abandoned the job. John Arsenault, who I was dealing with, became increasingly hard to reach during this 3-week ordeal. He said several times, "My guys are headed over there now." And, "they'll be there first thing in the morning to finish up." I eventually had to call from a different number for him to pick up. The best excuse I heard one rainy Sunday was, "I can't get anyone over there. It's Sunday. What do you expect?" What do I expect? I expect a "2-day job" not to stretch into 3 weeks. I expect my roof to be properly tarped off when exposed. Five Star Roofing could moonlight as a water mitigation specialist and really clean up. After 3 weeks of stress, frustration, and a leaking apartment, I had to call in a legitimate roofing company at twice the price to rip out everything Five Star did and fix the issue. It was done in a day. I sued Five Star Roofing and only under threat of arrest did John Arsenault show up to court. He lost and--surprise--doesn't have the means to pay me. How convenient! The incompetence of Five Star Roofing would make the Three Stooges blush. Even out of 100 stars, this company wouldn't live up to its name. Avoid Five Star Roofing and save yourself a nightmare.
