Excellent transaction! I discovered a hole in my roof under the shingles with the inherent leak into the house. Spoke with three companies and H&R was first with an extremely reasonable written proposal. Once we agreed to price and deliverables, I requested the work be done as soon as possible with the winter coming. H&R came through and fit me into their busy schedule within 2 weeks of our agreeing to terms! They had a light crew ( 2 men) as they are in busy season, and the work took a long day and a half for them to complete. I dealt from beginning to end with Mr. Robbie Smith; I can not praise enough his professionalism and attention to details. His company is lucky to have him ..he is like the engine of the entire operation. Knowledgeable and very pleasant. After we spoke the first time, he prepared a very detailed and professional proposal very quickly. He follow up and the project took place as it was scheduled. He constantly monitored the project, and crew - in person - even thought this happened during the weekend. Every time I wrote him and text or email he responded in immediately. I hired H&R roofing to replace 7 windows. Overall I was happy with the experience. I would recommend better communication with the customer. I had to call 30 days after giving my deposit for an update. A couple of other small issues that a phone call could have easily resolved. The men that did the work were professional and the quality of the work was very good. I would hire them again. read more

Couldn't ask for a better experience! They were always professional!!They never made harassing phone calls while we made our decision to have the job done. They showed up when they said they would with an amazing crew. Everyone was polite and hard working. The job was done in just under one day-including our shed that they finished in a light hail storm. When they left, my yard was cleaner than when they arrived. From the start, Ray Thibault of H&R Roofing (508) 348.4348, was professional, thorough, personable and polite. He addressed all our concerns and walked us through unfamiliar topics, including quality and selection of materials, as well as insurance related issues. Questions were answered quickly and flexibility to meet our needs was always their priority. As a result, I felt secure trusting the work of his team. We had our roof, chimney and gutters redone and we couldn't be happier. When I compared their prices with other roofers, H&R was most reasonable. Additionally, our yard is rather small, tight, shaded with numerous large trees and not always easy to navigate, especially over the roof and driveway. Yet, they respected our wishes regarding tree branch preservation. We also have a bit of groundcover spread throughout (periwinkle and pachysandra). Since this was the first time we had a crew this large working in our yard, I was a bit nervous about what condition they would leave it in. I didn't need to worry: all debris was removed and after the protective tarps were removed, my groundcover popped back up the following day. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 the highest rating, I give H&R Roofing a 10 and would gladly continue working with them in the future. read more

We couldn't be happier with the professional combination of Ray Thibault & Ronaldo Solano at H&R. When we met Ray it was clear that his message was so different than the other 4 roofers we had previously sat with. He is an awesome guy, I can't say enough. Frankly it was eye-opening and we went to great lengths to validate what he had explained - which was all 100% spot on. In turn, we hired a Certified Roofing company that is providing their customers with real iron-clad warranties vs the tail-light version almost everyone else gets without knowing it. Just google these guys, they have the best ratings we could find and we now know why! We have two other properties that we have already hired them to restore and passed their name onto three others who have hired them as well with more on the way. I wouldn't hire anyone else even if the work were being completed for free!! Unfinished job. Nothing more disappointing than chasing a contractor to finish their work. This has been going on for almost a year. Started off very well, trusted them enough to give them final check. Then they ordered the wrong color shutters and never returned. Now I have missing gutters, gutters that don't reach the ground, and no shutters. I get the same ridiculous excuse every time I call: Were too busy to do small jobs right now. Shows their character and lack of ethics in my opinion. Very disappointed to say the least. read more
