A very well oiled machine! We chose Heritage Exteriors after meeting with 6-7 contractors for our window and siding project. Kevin (the owner) was present throughout the process and offered a competitive price for all the work we wanted done. Heritage wasn't the cheapest estimate but offered the best proposal as far as thoroughness and attention to details- a couple of the windows were special order/sizes with one in particular being very challenging. I have some experience in window/door installs having worked for a builder in the past (whom I would have used if they had a larger crew). Kevin assured me that his crews would have this job done in about two weeks. I was reluctant to believe this timetable but these guys were incredible. From start to finish he was spot on. The quality of the work from level/plumb installs, even reveals on the sashes, to tight joints on their miter cuts on the trim- it is truly top notch all around and we couldn't be more pleased. The crews (window installers, siders, plumbers, electrician, and gutter installers) were all extremely efficient and immaculate. They worked long days and went the extra mile in treating our home like their own. Drop cloths were used, lawn was cleaned up and deck/walkways were blown or swept each day. Kevin was very good about keeping us updated on progress. The windows took awhile to come in and Kevin made us aware of the delay as soon as he knew. This was expected and not any fault of his. Everything that he measured fit perfectly and there were no surprises throughout the install. We contacted Heritage Exteriors for a major exterior renovation project for our home which included new siding to replace 1960's installed wood shingles, replacement of 2 entry doors and 5 older windows. The price for the project provided by Kevin was reasonable and lower than two other companies that had also bid the job. As the project began, we decided to replace an additional 13 windows, a cellar bulkhead door and 3 new storm doors. Kevin was accommodating with the additional changes and the workmanship by his crew was top notch. Heritage provided an excellent exterior finish to compliment and replace the original unique-designed first floor windows of the house. The siding crew from Heritage worked quickly despite weather related delays. From removal of the old wood shingles, installation of new vinyl shingles and siding, to clean up of the area after, they did an outstanding job. Had a great experience working with Kevin and the team at Heritage. They not only did an exceptional job replacing the roof (underlayment, shingles, skylights, etc.), but they also replaced rotting trim boards and added additional attic venting that was needed. Other roofing contractors we talked to would only do the roof and we would have had to get separate quotes for the other work. Kevin and his team did a great job installing a new roof on my home. He visited me within a couple days of calling him, explained the process entirely and quoted the job. Within a week of accepting the quote his team came out. They came at about 7:00 am, and worked quickly and efficiently stripping the old roof, installing the new roof on my home and garage, and cleaning everything up by about 3pm. There were just a couple of punch list items and Kevin's foreman was there the day I called and fixed everything perfectly. I would recommend this company to anyone, they were great. I was given a price for cedar impressions siding and aluminum wrap over all new wood and all new seamless gutters and downspouts. Additionally, they built a brand new 12 x 12 pressure treated deck . The Heritage owners and staff were always professional, courteous and did all the work as skilled craftsmen. They cleaned up after themselves daily and were always eager to make sure that I was satisfied. Their price for this work was more than fair.
