Next year we will be getting new roofs on our house and garage, as well as a few large picture windows replaced on our porch. Called the company and the OWNER Brian reassured me the price given was in the ballpark. When Chris the sales guy came out not only did he verify that the square footage was only 3100. The price he gave me was $48000. When told I was assured the price would be around $31k Chris pulled up my text conversations and phone recording about the conversation I had and he confirmed that it was a gross error on their part. He said he'd make it right by giving me the best price possible on an asphalt shingle yet I found Mr. Roof who blew his price out of the water by $2000 with same warranty and everything. Buyer beware. Don't do business when the OWNER himself lies directly to you!

Beyond that, Mike saw the problem area, noticed a screw missing from the flashing and replaced it so we would be ok until the actual repair. We really appreciated that small, quick fix. Mike came out two days after we chose to move forward. He would have come the next day, but it was raining. He was friendly when he arrived and got the job done rather quickly. He even sent pictures of the completed work so we knew what it now looked like. One thing I will mention for those who may use this company is they seem to be a smaller business. They don't handle things the same way as larger businesses, which is not bad. But, just know you will be texting with Bill, the owner, a lot to get the quote and job set up rather than waiting for call backs and emails. Don't let that throw you off though. I will update my review after it rains a few times to state how everything holds up.

I found MTS through reviews. Everyone seemed very satisfied so I checked them out and I ended up signing Matt and MTS for the job and here is why: Matt came in, was quick but thorough on what needed to be done in the quote. Gave me the options and laid it out very simply. No bogus upselling of any kind [like i got with the other bigger roofing companies], just options and what you get with each. After signing with them, they came in and did the work in a day!! The whole time Matt was on top of keeping me informed what was going on [was out of town at the time]. I got back and the roof looks awesome. Again I can't stress enough what a difference working with a company that is: transparent, communicates well, and is very upfront and fair about the work and prices is. We found this when removing wallpaper. MTS came out and, to their credit, quickly diagnosed the problem which required new lead around chimney ($775) and 3 new pipe boots on the rear roof pipes ($825). MTS went on to say we needed a new skylight installed for $2800 - the estimate stated that they were "not responsible for interior skylight finish." The total estimate was $4,400. I have had 2 estimates since then and both companies agree with the assessment of the chimney and roof pipes - although I feel it's worth noting that MTS made this estimate from the ground versus getting up on the roof. The other companies indicated that we did not need a new skylight, but if we needed to the same exact Velux would be $1500. I'm writing this to say - do your homework. We could have paid $4,400 to MTS but are paying roughly $700 elsewhere.
