I couldn't recommend Done Right Roofing any more highly!! Anyone that is getting their roof repaired/replaced should absolutely contact them. Once my girlfriend and I decided it was time to replace our roof, we contact a few contractors to get estimates. From the very beginning Done Right Roofing (DRR), was totally focused on customer service. When we received the estimate, we also received several other PDF documents from them including references, color option information, a certificate from the BBB, client addresses where we could see the color options in person and more. The list of references wasn't just 10 or 20 names ... it was more like 400!! It's worth mentioning that DRR was also the least expensive estimate we received. I got a very nice follow up call from Jim to check in and ask if we'd made our decision. Of course we had and booked the date. Jim went over what we should expect and how we should prepare for the day. The crew and materials arrived at the time and they began work around 7:30am. The work went very fast! They finished our detached garage by 11am and the entire job was complete and cleaned up by 2:30pm. We couldn't believe how fast it all happened. There was a "walk around" after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied, which we definitely were and still are. The roof looks fantastic and we're completely satisfied with everything DRR did for us. As I mentioned in the beginning, we highly recommend them!! read more

John and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with. I called the company to get a quote and John was able to give me one within minutes using some software that allowed him to see my roof (size, slope, etc) from space. Scheduling took a little longer than usual due to all the rain we had this fall (certainly not his fault) but his office crew kept in contact with me the entire time and gave new dates when needed. The actual work was done in one day and it was something to watch! How they stripped the old roof and put on the new one on a 3600sqft house in under 8 hours is beyond me but they did it. They then did a great job cleaning up so I am 100% satisfied. Highly recommend! read more

Done Right Roofing recently replaced my entire roof and the experience couldn't have been better. John and his team are a well-oiled machine with a real focus on the customer. First impressions last and Done Right didn't disappoint ... they actually picked up the phone when I called! A stark contrast to the half dozen other vendors I called. This is a real contrast to their competitors. Within 24 hours the owner, John Mancini, was at my property to assess wind damage. Fast forward another 24 hours and John was working with my insurance agent to negotiate a complete roof replacement! The job was done in a timely manner with a very high level of quality. My yard wasn't destroyed; there weren't nails all over the place and the new roof looked spectacular! The only issue I had was with my DirecTV dish. During the replacement the dish was reinstalled and could no longer get a clear line of sight. After a series of issues with the provider and the placement of the dish due to nuances of my property I had to move on from the service. While this was certainly not Done Right's problem or responsibility they graciously came over, removed the dish and placed new shingles where the dish was to ensure a roof done right! I can't imagine many other roofing companies would do this. Kudos to the Done Right team! Lastly, my wife and I had a baby during our install and Done Right sent us a very nice card congratulating us. How thoughtful is that?! They say you'll forget what people say to you but you'll never forget how they made you feel. Rest assured we will never forget our experience with Done Right and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a roofing company. We had a full roof replacement in Marlborough, MA. The installation crew did everything in a single day. Guys were very professional, showed up early, worked until sunset. Cleanup was awesome, and roof looks incredible. Really nice work, and at a very competitive price. Additionally, salesperson was super nice to work with on the phone. I liked that William, the roofer on site the day of, introduced himself to me at the start of the job. The roof at the house was installed by the company in 2014. After the March 2018 heavy snowstorm, a large tree had clipped it, without interior damage. My insurance company was on site within 3 weeks, in the meanwhile I was in touch with them weekly. The company had never sent anyone to inspect the damage and after 2 (!) months of emails and calls, had informed me that they don't do the structural damage repairs and only do shingles. I found it a very interesting approach for the roofing company, nevertheless, I have agreed to continue. No one had shown up, no one. No, follow up calls, no emails. And another thing- the company had asked the insurance company to issue checks directly to them! That's unacceptable and illegal practice. After giving up, I had my roof and structure repaired by another contractor- 2 men team, within a week. No emails/calls from Done Right Roofing since. Update 9/27/18 Roof is leaking - call the repairs. Found out that the two nails are completely rusted and have penetrated the shingle, which was installed by Done Right Roofing when the skylight was replaced by them. Nails were not sitting straight and the cap has broken through the shingle. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Worst company I've ever dealt with. I was given a quote for a roof inspection, and after scheduling the inspection, I received a call saying that the inspection would actually be $100 more than what I was quoted. I called to ask that they honor the quote, but they refused. As I was in a bind, I kept the scheduled appointment and agreed to the inflated price. I spoke with the "office manager" the day before the appointment, and the time was confirmed - between 10 and 11am. At 9:20am, after taking the morning off of work for this appointment, I received a call saying that they were running "very late" and would not be able to get to my appointment for "hours." Apparently, rather than honoring the appointment they scheduled with me, they scheduled other appointments and chose not to let me know until 40 minutes before they were supposed to be here. When I spoke to the owner, John Mancini, he just gave me excuse after excuse, rather than trying to find a solution, and in the end, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. I have never experienced this level of rudeness and disrespect from a service provider, much less the owner of the company itself. Not only did they not honor the quote I was originally given, they refused to honor their actual scheduled appointment, and just wasted my time and made me miss work. read more

Storm last night ripped up my flashing and I woke up to water and ceiling on my kitchen floor. Called Done Right Roofing and from the start it was good service. The person I spoke with was friendly and had John set to come out within the hour of me calling. John showed up was nice and thorough with the inspection and explaining everything to me. Had the repair done in no time and even took care of a bit of maintenance that was needed to prevent future issues. Couldn't have asked for a better job to help prevent more damage. 5 amazingly hard working guys from Done Right Roofing just finished my roof. They were courteous, efficient and really skilled. They perfect in every way. A guy came out and gave me a sales spiel including very specific details about roofing materials which I could care less about. I sat and was bored for a half hour. Then, they offered me a "special deal" if I made a decision within a specified time frame. I thought, "just give me your best deal up front, don't play games." I talked to a few other companies and they just came out, when up on the roof and emailed their estimates. This guy went into my attic and started pointing things out like rusty nails as a sign that my ventilation was not good. He never went up on the roof. The other thing they pushed hard on was getting my insurance company to pay for the damage to the roof from past storms as I'd had ice damming. They said they would give two estimates, one a "higher estimate" for the insurance company so they would have room to negotiate, and a lower one for me if the insurance deal didn't work out. Overall, I didn't trust these guys. The estimate they gave me was very high to boot. read more

The good news--my 5:00 pm call was picked up immediately, and the work was explained in detail regarding the ice dams on my roof, and the water coming in the front windows. I agreed to the terms, and a crew was here the next morning at 9:30a.m. The bad news--he instructed, on the call, not to rake the roof, as a couple of people were in the process of doing that to help out. When the crew began work that a.m. that's exactly what was done, raked the roof. Fifty minutes later, at 10:20 they said," we're done"! That was it, they did not speak English, so I couldn't communicate with questions as to the process, and had to call the office twice. Although they did the work they were told to do, I had to request ridges be made in the actual ice dams to release any water underneath the ice. All in all, they were expedient, but this was a very expensive, less than an hour job. $700.00 to rake the roof??? (and only the front). The backs of the roof and house were fine. It's been a rough stretch of bad weather, so I am grateful that they came. read more
