The quality of the workmanship was generally good, but there were lots of aggravations along the way and the cost was high. Among the aggravations: there were nail holes left in the siding from where the old downspouts had been which were not filled; there was also a section of rotten wood that was hidden behind the old downspout that was not mentioned even though I specifically asked them to keep an eye out for any rot; I gathered a bucket full of nails, wood pieces and other debris after the job was finished and cleanup supposedly done; when I got up on the roof after they were done, I noticed that they hadn't installed gutter guards to cover all the gutters - there was a 3-foot section missing because they apparently miscalculated and didn't bother to tell me. Afterwards they came back to install the last 3 feet of gutter guard, but never dealt with the nail holes or section of wood rot. All of this was annoying, but months later I discovered that the gutter guards they installed don't keep out maple seedlings. My gutters and downspouts were clogged with the seedlings and I ended up spending an hour this week cleaning them out (same thing last spring). Back in 2018 I thought the $900 we spent on gutter guards was too high after seeing what they installed, but now I question what value we even got for that money. I posted a message on Doyle Siding & Roofing's website with my complaints and contact information more than a year ago and never received a response. I also posted this same basic review on Yelp a year ago - don't know why it disappeared.

The team also fixed a leak I'd had in the garage for years, and also put on an excellent ridge vent and took care of some rot (replaced boards) on my soffits & trim. Our house has gutter guards - not installed by Heritage. When, in winter, i saw a problem with my gutters clogged/not draining, Kevin came over with his ladder, went up, removed the gutter guard, and cleaned out the down spout front and back of my house - for free... I had been calling around for gutter cleaning estimates (tough during winter) and one vendor pretty much said "you have to replace everything" without even seeing the job. (probably $1000 at least)... Then I called Kevin... Heritage has so many 5 star ratings for a reason.. and I'm adding mine.. Thanks for your professionalism and attention to detail. I'd highly recommend them and hire them again. Frank and Josh communicate immediately through text and call, do a careful one hour in person consultation, and even bring along a heat lamp and sample windows to educate on five different varieties of quotes. The morning of the project start you meet the project manager (in my case Jeff R) and discuss anything that concerns you. Crew arrives, dumpster and material get delivered. I came home for lunch and it appeared a bomb went off (in a good way), entire perimeter of the house was covered in tarps and anything fragile was covered to protect, the main house was striped and shingled except for the front portico. My shed was stripped and was going to be complete after lunch. I came home from work and everything was picked up and put back in place. There were a few perennials that were damaged (no problem they will grow back), bear in mind landscaping was covered with a tarp, ladders and bundles of shingles are heavy. The crew uses a large pull behind magnet to pick up nails, all we found was 1 nail = great job. My wife and I could not be happier and can't wait for the rest of the work to be done. They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.
