I wrote a review a few years back and am updating because I hired them again…read more They replaced my entire roof this time and from beginning to end the process was smooth and professional. Not only is Ryan a really nice guy, he is super communicative and makes sure that everything happens as it's supposed to. I have an extensive garden with many vegetables and flowers and the crew did a marvelous job at protecting my plants and cleaning up. I have multiple crews working on various areas of my property and Ryan was the only one who came on time and did exactly what he said he'd do. I'll keep hiring and recommending them. Thanks for being good people and doing excellent work.

Three things make Dion and Certified Roofing stand out: communication, honesty and generosity…read more Communication: Dion was readily accessible via phone, text or email. He explained every step of the process, answered all my questions about everything from protecting from water damming to whether brand matters when it comes to underlayment (it doesn't). He kept me posted on progress and even sent pictures as the job was underway Honesty: Dion set a price (which was the lowest I was quoted) and stuck to it. We had some confusion over gutter guards - Dion ended up installing high quality guards and didn't raise the price, despite the fact that they were not in the official quote. Generosity: In addition to the gutter guards, Dion threw in our shed roof as a bonus and even installed zinc to protect from moss growing in the future. Highly recommend Certified roofing for a job well done

We got quotes from 5 different roofing contractors before deciding on JPV. Jeff has done great work…read morefor other family members, but I wanted to get a range of estimates to compare prices, products (including metal roofs and manufacturer differences), and ask specific questions about our roof underlay (tongue and groove from the 60s). All in all each company gave me great information, were exceptionally thorough in their explanations of how the job *should* be done and why, and why they each advocated different roofing products. Each was thorough in explaining the differences and their recommendations. Based on drive-by examples, photos and testimony, they all did great work. The major difference came down to price for product: for our 1500 sq ft ranch the quotes varied enormously - up to over $50K for one of the pretty cool metal roof options. I would highly recommend getting multiple quotes to inform yourself of the process and products as the homeowner, BUT realize that other companies won't beat Jeff's price. He's thorough and communication is prompt and personable: he responded to my questions quickly. His crew is thorough and professional and did the work exactly as laid out in the contract. Johnny, his foreman, is experienced and knows his stuff. Highly recommend!

I recently had a new roof installed with Watertite after speaking with and getting an estimate from…read moreStephen Guild. He and the company were recommended to me by a co-worker and now I see why! Not only was the work impeccable, but the clean-up on any old shingles or nails was amazing! They surrounded the house with tarps and put it all in the dumpster which arrives in your driveway the day before. The cost was also on par with 2 other roofers, who could not guarantee me the work would be done in ONE DAY, like Watertite. A wonderful experience all around.

Heavy rains again last night and the roof and chimney flashing from watertite roof leaked again…read more When it was installed and I complained it still leaked, they came back and put caulking under the flashing without even stopping to talk. Later told me it was my chimney that was leaking but I had that repaired and it's dry as a whistle. They don't stand by their work. They at least installed a rubber roof correctly.

I hired Crown Home Improvement in summer 2020 to repair some minor roof damage from a recent…read morewindstorm. Douglas showed up immediately, provided a very timely estimate, and was able to get started on the work very soon thereafter. From initial consultation to start of the work, everything was smooth and very simple - he explained very clearly what was needed and kept making sure I had no questions. During the same visit, as he was assessing the roof on my garage, he inquired if I ever considered a skylight for the bonus room. In like manner, he had an assessment and estimate in my hands and, after I agreed, likewise made a point to begin the work as soon as he could. I've attached pictures to show progress. I am beyond pleased with the final product. Not only did they install a beautiful skylight, they repainted the rest of the wall to match and the finished work looks as if it were installed as part of the original bonus room. Douglas and his team clearly know roofing, windows, and framing. And their skills back up their work. To make things even better, when a subsequent wind & rain storm resulted in a few drips on the sides of the skylight, Douglas and team were back within days to reassess their work - they removed the skylight, re-checked and shored up the lining, and reinstalled the window in less than a day at no additional cost. Douglas and his company stand by their word and their work. It is a lost attribute in this world of service-providers, and thus working with them was refreshing. Looking forward to the next project where I can bring them in.

I contacted Willard about fixing an issue with my gutter - the pitch of the gutter was off and…read moreseveral of the gutter seams were leaking. My entire experience with Willard was great. Willard has a front desk staff that receives all calls, which is much better than trying to get in touch with someone and leaving voicemails back and forth with a field tech. Also, both Shannon and Melanie were very pleasant and prompt in returning phone calls and getting answers to specific questions. Danny came out to my house for the initial quote. He was on-time and professional. There were a few other sections of gutter where I wasn't sure if it needed to be replaced - he took a look and said they were dirty, but completely functional, and suggested that I could get a few more years out of them. I appreciated his honest perspective, where he could have somewhat easily upsold me to do work that wasn't required. John actually performed the work. Again, he was on-time and completed all the work as described. Additionally, after installing the new gutters, there was a backup in one of the downspouts, and he spent 30 minutes clearing the blockage without charging anything additional. Again, I was very happy with the entire experience. Working with contractors can often be a headache - not the case with Willard. I highly recommend them and will be using them for other types of work going forward.
