After chatting on the phone, he came down in person to measure the windows and told me that they should be install-ready in about three weeks, as they are custom designed by the factory. After a week or two passed, I texted him to check in on an install date, and, as promised, less than four weeks after his initial visit they are scheduled to be installed. I'll leave an updated review after the install is complete, but he's among the most responsive contractors I've ever come across, so I'm already pretty happy. I just saw on his website that he does vinyl siding, too, so I'll definitely be asking for a quote on that when he comes to pop in the windows!

Sean was honest and provided an extremely detailed quote. He followed the proper protocol and filed notice with the state, as is legally required for deleading work in MA. I also asked if he would send me a picture of the work once he was done to save me a trip to the property, and he promptly followed up with a photo. It was a small and simple job, but the price was fair and Sean was able to perform the work within the timeframe I requested and communicated well in between the initial step of reaching out, providing me with a quote, performing the work, and billing.

And when we were finally given a day to install, they called asking if we could move it. The install was fast (within a few hours) and the crew who installed was friendly. While the door itself looks nice, the outside has these patches all around. The door itself is also tricky to open. Not pleased and would not recommend window world.

A top notch group of professionals who take their work very seriously. I called them to help with a…read moremajor problem. From first contact I felt like I was in good hands. Crystal is so very easy to communicate with. When I met the gentleman who gave us the quote, I felt like he was so professional. He spent a lot of time looking at the roof and investigating everything he could find. He even went into the attic and when he was done he showed us pictures of everything he found. So knowledgeable. His name is Matt (ask for him by name) and he was great. The team who showed up to do the work were quite impressive. So many people, everyone involved and knowing exactly what they were supposed to do. So amazing to watch. Our house is big, quite large compared to most. I figured they would be here for a couple of days. I almost laughed out loud when they said they were going to be done in one day. Amazingly enough, they were. The roof is amazing, our new solar skylights are fantastic. The solar shades are really nice and super easy to use. The sun is not ever a factor anymore. Just push a button. I think we made the absolute best choice possible with NEXTGEN. The whole entire company is spot on. When our roof was completed we had family over that weekend. Even my most cynical cousin admitted that he was very impressed not only by the roof, but by the fact that there was no sign of any damage or debris. Not a single nail could be found. The guy talked like a borderline fraud. He spent 95% of the time trashing other companies instead of explaining the upsides of their product. I don't think that they are complete frauds; they offer legitimate services. However, their sales tactics are akin to tactics used by used car salesmen. Being a DIY guy, I could clearly sense that he knew way less about window installation than I did. The guy spent an hour in our house, which is an abuse, and then told us to wait and discuss while "he steps outside to talk to his manager". Presumably, "to get a permission to give us an awesome deal if we sign right away". At that point we told him the meeting was over. He told us the prices he had quoted were good for a year but he did not actually leave us any written quote. :) This whole experience was a mix of bad and hilarious. Their prices are roughly 80-100% above the market. Again, their products seem to be top quality. It is not at all clear who they use for installation. The company has a video of a company boat cruise on Charles River, and they don't have any construction people there, just a whole bunch of sales people. Again, it is pretty clear what their business strategy is. If you have a spine and patience, you can invite them over to get an upper bound on the price. But definitely shop around afterwards.
