They requested a 1/3 deposit that could not be paid electronically. This should have been my first clue. Then it took a month for the window to arrive. They then scheduled and showed up with a regular window. And they of course ripped out the existing window before checking. So I had to have the wrong window installed and then wait six weeks for the correct panes to arrive. Then spend two weeks going back and forth to schedule a new installation date. Then they flew in and out on the date and I finally had my window. And it took only 10 minutes following the job being finished before someone showed up from the company and demanded payment. Not throughout the whole process was anything given emphasis until it was time for them to be paid. Avoid at all costs.

The installation (roof, extra large covered gutters and downspouts) was very quick and the crew were very professional and polite. Cleanup was excellent. I was so pleased with the roof installation that I had Nescor back to install some new windows in the basement and garage which were not replaced when new windows were installed in the house a few years earlier. The price was again excellent when compared to some estimates that I had gotten. The installation crew was again very professional and polite, and cleanup was great. With my previous positive experiences I again called Nescor when I wanted to replace three entry doors to the house. Their price was again very competitive and I chose them. The doors were special ordered so there was a wait for them to be manufactured. The installation crew was as expected, professional, polite and excellent cleanup. There was a problem that developed during the first month after the installation with one of the storm doors and the sweep of one of the main doors. Adjustments were made to the storm door and a special sweep was ordered for the door with the problem which was installed when received. I also had a vapor barrier installed in the attic which has done an excellent job of stabilizing the temperature and humidity levels in the attic which contributes to the overall efficiency of the heating and cooling system of the house. I am very pleased with the service and prices for the work that Nescor has performed on my home. I would recommend them without reservation.

Our old windows were drafty, some could barely be opened, and our energy bills were ridiculous. I spent weeks researching well-known national installers down to local companies. It was then that I came across Kubala Home Improvement. As I explored their website, I was impressed by their awards and testimonials. I dug a little deeper and could not find a single review on any business review website in which they did not receive five-stars. I called and set up an appointment with a sales representative (this was the first of many companies with which we were scheduled to meet). My wife and I met with Ben Griffin at our home, and it quickly became obvious that our windows were much worse off than we thought (they were at least 40 years old and had no R-Value). Ben is very affable, and he carefully explained how Kubala's windows are constructed (in the U.S., a huge plus) and every aspect of the replacement process.
