I had a job done 4 yrs ago and they are pricey for one thing. I still have a door that is not working properly. Since then, I have been called almost monthly trying to offer me windows and such. I have REPEATLY asked them to take me off their list only to be assured, yet I keep getting the calls. I have blocked their number numerous times but always getting called from a different number. I am so frustrated at this point that I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! read more

Listened to a very long (2 hour) high intensity presentation before getting to the price. Then the discounts appear if a decision and check are forthcoming. Way too long to sit and listen. Should have simply produced some info and an honest price without all the slick statements about receiving all available discounts. Rescom put in a new front window and a slider 2 years ago. They randomly called to check on how happy we were. I told them the front window had some sort of weird thing going on and I sent a picture. They replied quickly and said that they were ordering a new window. Customer service #1 read more

I used Rescom for total window replacement 4 years ago. Have never had a problem with the windows. The windows are the highest equality windows I've ever seen. This is our 3rd dealing with Rescom Exteriors, and we are still as we have been incredibly happy with our sales, installation team, and product that we purchased. Our Rescom story started in Summer of 2017. We signed up for one of those free windows deal at the Spencer Fair, which got us our first consultation, with Doug our sales associate. At that point we received our first quote, which literally sent chills down my spine. After already receiving other quotes from competitors and understanding the different designs of the product, we decided to give Rescom a try and had our back patio slider replaced with them. The door came slightly out of adjustment after the first year, and true to their word they sent out a tech and in minutes got it back into alignment, and we have had no issues with it since. Due to such a great transaction we invited Doug back in early 2020 and replaced 6 of our worse upstairs windows along with main entry door, and now again in 2022 have once again returned to Rescom for the installation of 5 more windows on our main level. With all the work we have done so far, we only have 12 windows left to do, and when the time comes rest assure we will be calling on Rescom once again to finish the house. These windows do come at a hefty price, but you get what you pay for, and for what I have spent so far, I feel the investment has definitely been worth it. Sales person was awesome, knows the product well. Owner was very nice when he called to apologize for my experience. Michael in Marketing is where the problem began. I called to cancel a second appointment (as I had to work), he wanted to offer me next day which I could not do, I reminded him I was calling to reschedule for next week and he asked me if I didn't want to be that special family (whatever that means, and why wasn't I offered that the first visit)? But the marketing Michael who is trying to sell me windows hung up on me, not a way to treat a potential customer who was trying to reschedule an appointment. I was impressed with the owner calling to apologize, but his windows will not find there way into my home or anyone I know. And we were about to order them as we liked the product. read more

Installed my front door over six years ago and it still looks and works like new! It was my first project with Rescom and if I had known about them earlier I would have had all my windows and doors done by them. Great service, great product, great company all around! I made an appointment to get a estimate for new windows, and when they called to confirm, I said that my husband would not be available to be there, but I do all of the house renovations. Without canceling, they never showed up for the appointment! They called 3 days later to apologize, but they could not give me an estimate without my husband present. I ended up telling them I did not want to work with a company who demands my husband be there for these "big decisions". I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Horrible company. They have been calling my wife pressuring her for information. I tell them not to call, they won't stop. The guy on the other line is supposedly named Mike and calls from 508-439-4999 (Westborough MA). He's a total a-hole, and keeps calling even though I told him in plain english to stop calling my wife. He's rude and arrogant. And of course, when I asked for his last name, his response was "Rescom Exteriors". I asked him again, and he said "Why do you need to know my name?". Typical high pressure scammers. Check out all their reviews on google, yp.com, yelp, facebook etc. and you will see that this is their standard way of doing business. read more

My husband and I were very pleased with the new windows. The crew came on time and they were done quickly and with no mess in the end to clean up. They were very friendly and the windows themselves are great. The house is noticeably warmer, and we can't help but tell everyone about them and how pleased we are with them. read more

Sales person refused to give me a quote because my wife wasn't there. My wife chose not to be there because meetings about Windows is not something she cares to do. Then sales guy argued with me that the only way to do it was with my wife there and that that's why they were the best company is that they required the wife to be around. I never even saw the window samples. He told me I could reschedule which I don't care to do. So much for getting that window quote. Good thing there's plenty of quality companies that are willing to give quotes when they send their sales staff. read more

I will never buy from these people solely on how rude the salesman was on the phone because i wouldn't schedule my estimate that second. He basically told me off even as i had been taking the polite route. Customer service is huge to me and windows are a huge expense so who wants to put up with rude people when you are dropping that much cash. Also prior to actually answering this phone call these people called me every day at either dinner time or 830 at night. And i mean every single day. they are clearly desperate for business as I've read reviews on them all saying how unhappy they are with the product. read more

This is a rewrite of my previous review which disappeared for some reason. I was prompted to write by a follow up call I got from Rescom this week asking me to buy more windows from them. This is not something I would ever consider. The quality of the windows is OK, but not worth the price we paid. The real reason for my poor review, however, was the sales experience, and more importantly, the installation experience. The sales experience was high pressure, with continued pressure to sign right then to achieve discounts that won't be available you wait. This is always a bad sign. Either you have a quality product at a fair price or you don't. Don't use sales gimmicks. Sad to say that I fell for it. The installation was the real issue. As part of the sales process, I expressed my concern about companies that use contract installers, as I had been burned before. The salesperson (cannot recall his name) assured me he would be there personally on installation day to make sure everything was done correctly. This did not happen. Instead, I got a motley crew of unkempt, unprofessional contractors who barely spoke to me, and only seemed concerned with getting out of there as quickly as possible on a Friday morning. The workmanship was equally as bad. They showed no concern for my antique moldings and split many of them. These they covered up by squirting calk into the gaps. One of four windows was not installed properly and stuck. I found nails and cut pieces of aluminum trim all over the ground outside of my house and more importantly, behind and within the cushions of my living room sofa. To top it all off, the salesperson who wrote the order was so attentive to my needs that he screwed up the order, and the upper sashes came without the custom inserts we needed for the windows to appear consistent with the rest of the house. Rescom had to come back and replace the upper sashes on all four windows which now don't fit perfectly with the lower sashes that were manufactured separately. Overall, it was a nightmare. Stay away--there are many other companies out there. In fact, I asked the salesperson why there were so many replacement windows companies and he told me it was because they were so profitable. That should have been the first of many red lights that I unfortunately blew right through. Don't be fooled by the slick presentation. read more

Didn't deliver as promised, overpriced I went through their slick sales presentation and demonstrations and was still skeptical, especially about their contract installers. In the end, I decided to just buy four windows, at a very high price, after the sales person committed to monitoring the installation to ensure it went smoothly. Installation day arrived and the sales person was nowhere in site. What was in site was my four windows, missing the upper grates that we had ordered. Evidently the sales team has time for a 2 hour sales call but once you sign, cannot take 5 minutes to check the order to make sure it's right. The installation crew was rude, and disinterested in a doing a good job. They were all about speed and rushed to get out of my home as fast as possible. The result was shoddy workmanship and a mess--there were literally nails and sharp scraps of aluminum trim left behind in my living room couch, all over the floor, and outside. On top of this, one window would not open properly. Stay away, far away. read more
