Came in around 6pm and it was very convenient there was no one else inside. Inside looked pretty average, I'm not sure how long they been in business. To my benefit with barely any customers, the wait time wasn't long. As for the Flamin Hot burger; it was probably one of the best burgers I've had in a really long time. 2 smashed patties seasoned perfectly and the brioche bun had a nice toast inside with a soft plush bun. The fries were really interesting and a different take on traditional fries and they were great with the right amount of season. As for it being a spicy burger, it really did lack in spice but all around a perfect flavored burger. I will be coming back to try the menu further but props to the staff and the cook for a great experience. read more

Brgr Shack - Flamin hot burger - Burgers Near Me - Escondido, California

My boyfriend and I were so excited to try this new place because it's now one of the only burger places closest to the east side of valley parkway. For starters the burger was amazing! We split a classic burger so that we could get a taste of the flavor and it did not disappoint. The meat was juicy and the bun was warmed just right. We'll definitely be back to try lots of other things. We got the burger to go. I took off one star because the ambiance needs a bit of improvement, it was quiet and smelled a little funny. Understandable because it's new! When we walked in we had to wait a bit for someone to come out of the back. The man at the counter was very kind. We will definitely be back!!! We're excited to see this place grow. read more

They had just opened up and were mopping the floor getting table set up doing a very good job. I talked for a little bit with the fellow that was cleaning up and asking how long they've been there, which was about six months and it business was doing well. He was very nice. Definitely knew what was going on with the business. My son-in-law and daughter had gotten burgers the night before and told me how good they were so my husband and I went the next day and we got their classic cheeseburger. They don't have a whole lot of choices which in a way is rather good so you don't have to stand there wondering what do you want . The classic was served very hot. Very juicy ,buns had been toasted. Everything was super , good. We will definitely be back there. I don't see how anybody could be unhappy with what they serve.. read more

Foods amazing, I just wish they would answer their phone! I called them 3 times during operating hours and they didn't pick up

It's hard finding good, fresh food on the east side of town. If that's what you're looking for then this is it. I've had the original and the spicy, both have been excellent. The fries are the best fries in town. Highly recommend! read more

Great burgers, fries, service and price. A little out of the way. Very clean as well.

My fiancé and I have been meaning to try Brgr Shack out as we live up the road, and we absolutely regret not having done so sooner. 10/10 and absolute fire. The burgers themselves? AMAZING. THE SAUCE? Absolute banger. A N D their fries to top it off?! Everything we ordered was gone within minutes. Completely inhaled, yet enjoyed. We will 110% be back every week. Brgr Shack - Flamin Hot Burger and Shack Brgr, with fries. - Burgers Near Me - Escondido, California

Such amazing burgers. Very greasy but in the good way, they don't cross that threshold where it's gross. It is super delicious. Been a few times and not a single bad experience. Recommended to a few people and they all say the same thing- amazing. My only complaint is I really want to try their chicken sandwich but the burgers are so good I can't pass it up. Pretty decent problem to have. read more

Update! Fries extra crispy is the way to go! So good! I ate half the box on the drive home.

Food was hot and delicious. The chicken fries that were recommended were incredible. The staff were so sweet and were very helpful. I can't wait to go back to try everything. The burgers hit and if you were craving one this place will definitely hit the spot. read more

We were greeted with excellent service as we walked in and were given recommendations on what to try. We had the original, flaming hot, and pesto burgers and tried the regular and loaded fries. We all loved everything. The food was fresh and not greasy. The inside was clean, just wish they had a high chair (no big deal). They only had canned/bottles drinks, but it looks like they were in the process of putting in drink machines. We will be back to try their other items. read more

If you are hungry and are looking for a place to not break the bank, their loaded fries in either beef or chicken hits the spot, I have ordered each and they taste great. The first time I ordered them, I added a burger to my order and after the fries had to put the burger in my refrigerator as I was full. I am happy to report the burger was good on the reheat, I usually separate everything when I put in the fridge, so the reheat brings it back to that same fresh quality. The service was quick and response, so no complaints there, as for the ambience, people it is a fast food place in a strip mall, so I am not sure what you may be looking for, but they were clean, I expect nothing less. read more

Jordan and the crew are incredible! Top-notch service and food that absolutely delivers! I had the Maple Sriracha Chkn Sandwich, and it was perfectly crispy, thick, juicy chicken with a slaw that somehow made me a believer (and I'm usually not a coleslaw fan). The flavors were spot-on, and I left already planning my next visit to try the burgers and fries. Highly recommend! read more

Amended Review. Downgraded. Sadly after my second visit I have to edit my review of BRGR Shack. TBH I'm quite disappointed. I arrived just after opening 11:03 and was most likely the first customer. At the register the experience was lacking, no engagement just meh. This was much unlike my first time visiting where dude working was engaging and made recommendations etc. But not everyone is like this so I get. I ordered the burger and fries. - The place was not maintained, many tables displayed grease/drink stains from the night before. - The floor wasn't swept - Napkin dispensers were not functional - The burger arrived in great time but lacked trimmings and was extremely salty - My first visit the burger clearly had all of the ingredients and tasted delicious - Customer service was mid - it was previously great. I truly want to see this place succeed but, without maintaining the front end of the business I worry about what the kitchen may look like. And if the folks working are merely there to collect a check then the journey may be short lived for this business. I know it's not fine dining but the prices are not exactly low-end either (burger, fries, and 15% tip = $17.91). At the least keep the place clean and presentable. I may not make it back any time soon for a 3rd try but I get this too; it's just one review and one customer. Hopefully, things will improve and BRGR shack becomes an institution in our community where folks are lining up for burgers. It has the potential. First review was 5 stars. See below. Finally a burger place that's located someplace other than on Grand AND the burgers are on point. Disclaimer this is first time here, BUT the flaming hot burger and fries were delicious and priced perfectly. I'll be returning for sure. PLUS it's open until 10PM. read more

Delicious local burgers. The food is always so good, and the loaded fries are my absolute favorite. Haven't had a chance to dine in but ordering in person and over the phone was very pleasant, with all workers I've had the pleasure of meeting being kind, respectful and helpful. read more

Just left the hamburger we got was delicious My complaint is no fountain drinks not even water. No sides were available other than fries. The decor is very spartan and cold, like a hospital , just not very inviting. Hopefully, they'll hang some pics paint some and get a cola fountain machine. But the burger was really good. If I go back, I probably get to go read more

Now We are talking. This is best burger place I ever tried. I tried them all and it's definitely not possible to choose a favorite. Absolute hidden gem! The burgers are succulent and delicious. The fries are cut in a very unique way, almost like a pickle chip. I decided to try this place out after seeing all the great reviews. I do not like smash burgers since they are usually over cooked and too dry for me, however, my pesto burger here was fantastic! Juicy and full of flavor. My niece ended up getting the maple chicken sandwich with the coleslaw on the side. She loved it. She said it was cooked perfectly. The fries are also very good. The place was bright and clean. Service was quick and friendly. The only draw back for us is that they only have canned sodas. We prefer fountain sodas. They are still new, so maybe they will upgrade that at some point. I am very happy to have them the in East Escondido area. We plan to go back soon to try some other things on their menu. read more

We were really pleased with our experience here! The smash burger was just the best, and the french fries were great too.

They're in soft opening. Menus shown online to what is offered is not consistent. The owner is doing every thing himself. Props to him for trying. Kind of rough for small businesses at the moment. Just a good ol' hole in the wall mom n pop shop. Not here for the ambiance, just good service and food. Price for portion is a welcomed sight. Sooo many overpriced burger joints right now. Was really craving onion rings but they took them off the menu. Burgers were above average but patty was a tad under seasoned. We did enjoy the buns and the meat to bun ratio was on point. At least the wavy fries were seasoned and we like the cut. They also have chicken sandwich option and loaded fries. Will most likely return to tries those. Go find out for yourself and form your own opinion. read more

Picked up a couple of burgers and fries last night and they were amazing! I had the mushroom and Swiss burger. My friend had the classic burger. The fries are cut in chip form and sprinkled with a wonderful spiced salt. This is now my go to burger spot. The service was quick. Just a plain storefront. A few tables and chairs. Don't let the that fool you. The burgers are FIRE. read more
