I came here with my friend. She was so excited because she said it was the second best wing place she's ever gone to. Ummm... no! I walked in and my nose was instantly unhappy. I don't know what the smell was, but it wasn't food, and it wasn't good. I decided that maybe it was just the entrance and I'd give this place a chance. Have you ever walked into a place and just felt like everything was going to be sticky? That's the feeling I had, but guess what? Only the menu was sticky. Which was completely disgusting. We got charged 20 per order turned out 10 dollars was only for boneless wings. We had 2 drinks and the order of wings and was charged 69? We asked the waiter and he said it was only for boneless. My burger was lackluster I was expecting a decent burger but I had a better chance going to McDonald's. This is not my favorite Brewingz location but it's closer to home. I like the La Porte location on Spencer much better. We went for Two for Tuesday and shared some boneless wings (20 total). We ordered the Cajun, Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper (Mild) and Honey BBQ. So I tried the Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan and Cajun. I guess I'm a total wuss because the Cajun were too spicy for me. I ate half of one boneless wing and couldn't finish it. Wowza. Not for me. I liked the flavor Garlic Parmesan but the wings seemed a bit overcooked. Like they weren't juicy and tender inside. So that was a bummer. The Lemon Pepper were OK but again, not tender and juicy. When they have their Two for Tuesday special, it does NOT include Ranch dressing or Bleu Cheese to dip your wings in. The small is $0.99 and the medium is $2.59. I think the large was $4.99 or so. It seems silly to me that they can't throw in at least the small dressing and anything bigger, you have to pay for. The small was actually plenty. We ordered 2 smalls, one for each of us. But I think 1 small would have been enough for us both We also ordered the curly fries basket. I think it was close to $5 for the curly fries basket and it wasn't really worth it. The fries weren't even seasoned. They were very bland. And I love french fries. I had to keep adding salt and that didn't seem to do the trick. I don't know why they charged almost $5 for a side of fries. The wings were OK but nothing special. I am in town (Pasadena) this week on a Military assignment at Ellington Field. I saw this place and thought that they may have some good wings. Well I tried them out today 6/28 and I was very disappointed. I ordered the East Meets West Combo. The traditional wings were small as heck and my thumb was bigger than the wings and I have small hands. No Lie. I ordered some food from here from Ubereats, where the restaurant had a 4.5 out of 5 stars. All I can say is we were disappointed. The fries lacked salt and flavor, same with the onion rings. I ordered 15 wings, garlic Parmesan, mild and medium. They lacked any flavor what so ever. One of the orders of wings seemed to lack any sauce what so ever, just plain wings. One hostess at the front taking orders, answering phones, seating people. About 15 min later finally got another worker up front but by then people left. An hour + later after I had repeatedly ask for my order and then just ask for my money back they grabbed "my order" off the counter and said sorry and that they would give me money back. I stopped in here because the service at Hooters was atrocious and they are nearby. The "hostess" couldn't tell me the WiFI log in code. Plus she had to ask three times if I wanted to sit at the bar (NO) or if I wanted a table or a booth. The server had me sitting and waiting for almost half an hour to order after taking my appetizer order. Yet she showed much more attention to the next booth over, which happened to have a couple more people in the party. The only reason I can truthfully say that I ever returned here is that I was hungry, and the food is alright. That being said, this is not the only Brewingz that I have been to that specializes in marginal to poor service. Must be part of the corporate culture. Our drinks didn't come until ten minutes after our appetizer was brought to the table. Two tables that arrived after us received their food before us. Bone-in wings were less than satisfactory. we used to come here for lunch, evening but lately I don't know what's going on. Place seems to be unorganized and dirty.. our food took over 30 mins to come out. And not a manager in sight. We used come to this location cause the manager with the twins always came out to greet us, we always saw her talking to tables helping staff it was a very enjoyable environment. The experience was SO bad that I'm writing my very first review, ever! Was there on a Friday night, party of 3, around 9:30pm and was sat promptly. The place was not busy and had enough wait staff to get the job done. Place was a mess! Service was atrocious at best. We were the ones that were friendly, definitely not our waiter that worked the bar as well. He had a TERRIBLE attitude and it showed. He should seek other employment opportunities where he won't have to deal with the general public. We did ask for help from hostesses but they weren't too helpful. I tipped, didn't want to, but wasn't my normal 20%. Even the hostess commented how bad our waiter is upon our departure. Quite obvious there's ZERO management and ZERO training.
