My partner and I are always looking for that perfect spot where I can relax for a cappuccino, and she can get some more work done lol. We are so happy that we stumbled upon Brewing Brokers, a local coffee shop near Yonge & Lawrence ^^ The interior is modern and chic; it is very spacious with plenty of work space, and it is a great spot to meet up for coffee and for a quick bite :) Did you know ? - Brewing Brokers is also a fully functioning real estate brokerage? This unique concept was inspired by a Toronto real estate broker of record, Rudy Reznik. With most of his meetings taking place over coffee, the decision to combine the two was absolutely brilliant!

Last month, on a Saturday, after running a couple of errands in the morning, I headed to Brewing Brokers during the week of celebrating national coffee day. Yep, a week! I drove southbound on Yonge Street. I ended up parking across the street from the cafe. There is Green P parking on both sides of the street. I paid through the Green P app. Jaywalking across the street was fine. I'm still in one piece! I walked into the cafe and it was super busy. All tables were taken. Thank goodness I was grabbing my drink to go. There were a couple of people in front of me in the line. The wait wasn't bad. The line moved well. When I got to the counter, I had a nice man help me out. He asked what I'd like to drink. I had already looked at the menu before dropping by this cafe. I went with an iced cafe mocha. I asked if he had any dairy alternatives. He listed almond and oat. I went with the latter. As he went ahead and made my drink, I looked longingly at the chocolate bars on the counter. I saw rocher listed and wanted it. The nice man came over to help me find it before heading back to make my drink. I paid for it with a debit card. I also tipped. All was great. As he continued to work on my drink, I headed to the washroom. It was a single stall open for anyone. It was clean, minimalistic, and quirky with letters randomly placed on the walls. When I walked out, I waited briefly before my drink was ready. I thanked the man, took it, and walked across the street to my car. I had my drink and I continued running various errands. I could tell from my first sip that the chocolate and coffee were of high quality. I am not a regular coffee drinker, but the coffee tasted different than any coffee that I had ever had before. It wasn't bitter, which I loved. I am a chocolate person. It tasted like real dark chocolate. Sure enough, this place shaved dark chocolate into my drink. At the bottom of my cup, there were remnants of shaved chocolate, which I threw back into my mouth to savour. I didn't care that it hadn't melted. It impressed me to see real chocolate in my mocha. I loved it. My drink was delicious and enjoyable to consume. I'd return here during the weekday and check out how working at this cafe would feel like. I'm sure that there are likely more business deals happening then. It seems like a casual, cozy space to do quiet work and relax, or a space where business discussions can transpire in a comfortable setting. I love this cafe's concept of being a brokerage house, and sealing the deal over a cup of coffee or a baked good. I loved my drink and look forward to returning for more on the cafe side of things. Two flat whites complete with barista art work and a toffee cookie

Best coffee in this part of Toronto and we have tried many of them in this area. It goes without saying that their client base are most likely to be those who would not step into a Starbucks. Great baristas who are passionate about their craft and super friendly to their patrons. A great combination!

I came here to do some work on my laptop. I really like the atmosphere. There's a big table, round table with two seats, and bar top seating too. Most people were there working on devices. I didn't get a coffee, but I got a lemonade and it was really delicious. I will be back here regularly. They have great options of drinks and food.

A very beautiful coffee shop, multiple menu to start your day

Had my 90 year old mother and there was no where for her to sit down, and they never offered her a chair. Never offered us a drink or complimentary dessert for our inconvenience. There was a table occupied by Four adults who took out and started playing a board game. They stayed in the restaurant at least to 9:00 pm. Will never go there again.

The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.
