Matcha latte, Hojicha latte, matcha basque cheesecake

Pretty aesthetic spot! I went during a weekday and it was quiet! Good enough to study or get some work done. They sell ceremonial grade matcha as a drink or the tea for purchase. The matcha basque cheesecake is decadent and goes well with the hojicha and matcha latte.

You know that one Coffee Shop... the one that looks like it could be in a magazine spread? Yeah... I finally went. Brandor Coffee Shop is giving.. if calm had a design aesthetic. Minimal, airy, and smelling like pure happiness. I love their drinks here especially the Coconut Sea (I am obsessed). Love the Tiramisu and Spinach and Feta Pastry. Love the interior and so clean. Staff are very welcoming too.

We ordered and tried their coffee (pour over), cappuccinos, and tea - all taste good! Tried their bake goods, also good as well! Cafe has a modern, minimalist look. Customer service is good. Although this cafe is on the pricier end compared to other simple coffee places. But this is expected if you want better quality coffee.

Brandor is located at a convenient spot in the downtown core. It is an aesthetic space, almost like an art gallery, with various clothes, mugs, and art available for purchase. There's a good amount of seating and free wi-fi, making this a great choice to get some work or studying done. We tried the West Coast & Oolong drinks. The West Coast was like a sparkling latte - I'm not sure I would order this again, but maybe some would like the fizziness. The Oolong tasted kind of like a bubble tea - would love a hot version of this as well. I'm not sure if they could provide a bit more insulation as areas near the door were quite cold, but otherwise this is a great space!

Brandor Coffee is located near the intersection of University and King where they serve up a classic espresso drinks, creative tea drinks (think oolong, coconut lattes, etc.), as well as non-caffeinated drinks (cinnamon black tea, matcha latte, sea salt pomelo, lychee summer, etc.). They also offer pastries and baked goods as well which are on display at the front near the cashier. The cafe also sells clothing, cups, candles, and other coffee accessories and gear you can bring home. I stopped by Brandor Coffee on their opening day at the end of Oct (Oct 29th to be exact!). The cafe is minimalistic with concrete/grey tones throughout. There is plenty of seating if you'd like to enjoy your coffee there. When I entered, I immediately was greeted by at least 8 staff who were standing around waiting for customers. It was somewhat uncomfortable but they probably wanted to make sure there was enough staff just in case there were too many customers. I opted for a flat white which was made at a reasonable time. Coffee wise, it was not comparable to the other coffee shops in the area (you can totally get a better flat white elsewhere). I found the coffee to be average and was disappointed. Overall, friendly service but if you're looking for great coffee go elsewhere.

Another brand new coffee shop on University! It's their soft opening week and as a cafe hopper, I had to try especially when it's just minutes away from the office. The store is clean, bright and sleek. I ordered the flat white (classic blend) and it was ready within a minute. Since it's soft opening, it felt like they were not too used to having customers. Some of them were nervous but hopefully they can keep up with the crowd later on! The drink was smooth and nice. The prices are on the pricer side, but decent quality!

New coffee shop by king and university! The aesthetic of this cafe is stunning. With a black and white tone and very modern looking appeal. The coffee is amazing! I had the green plum americano and it didn't disappoint. The coffee shop has its own brand of clothing bags and accessories. As their logo stated, coffee is a lifestyle Service is amazing and the space is so spacious!

I can't remember the name of the latte I got but it was delicious! It had a coconut cream I believe and was the perfect amount of sweet. The pistachio croissant was also delicious. Inside is pretty spacious with a very artsy aesthetic. I will say, I didn't find the staff to be super friendly but food wise I'd recommend!

The coffee shop is clean and their coffee are amazing! They even have their clothing line and tote bags! Oolong coffee is great with the after taste of the tea.

Randomly walked by it today and pleasantly surprised! A bit pricy, but maybe it's the standard pricing in the downtown core? However, the quality was great so I'd come again as a treat vs. my every day cafe. Ordered the oolong latte which I HIGHLY recommend. I love oolong but have never seen it offered with espresso (which I also really love). Itbtasted complex with familiar flavours. The vibe was very modern. If Z Zegna opened a cafe spinoff, this would be it. The service was a bit slow so I would caution to come if you have time to relax and enjoy vs. rushing off to your next destination.

Super cute aesthetic spot! lots of seating and it wasn't crowded (probably because of the weather). On the slightly pricier side but still worth a visit to have a coffee, a chat, and check out their home and lifestyle decor options from tea cups to tote bags and more. They even offer gelato if you're craving something sweet :)

    Clean minimalistic shop.

New, very clean, all "black and white" coffee shop with a few different coffees and teas but with uncomfortable chairs . As I'm sitting here writing this review, I just updated from 4 to 5 stars because their espresso has a crazy good caffeine kick. Im now flying! so if you need a caffeine and I highly recommend this place I had the West Coast which is a two shots espresso with soda or tonic and a little sweetener. I couldn't understand the cashier how she described it. But it's not too sweet and tasted fine. I think it could use a few drops of orange bitters or orange zest. I think all lattes are only 8oz and double shots. They also sell "stuff". I don't understand why they also want to be a shop selling candles and t shirts. I'm not going to go out of my way to return here, the drink was good, but it cannot compare to Mofer Coffee across the street which is the best in Toronto! The best part of this place may be it's open till 7:00! Yes, if you come early or before 8:30; their $6 breakfast combo looks like a good deal

Agree with the previous 5-star reviews - it's a hard place to sum up in a sentence, because you really don't know what oddball kitschy gift or really useful gadget you'll end up finding. I've bought really cheap unused vintage wrapping paper and 2B pencils, a huge plastic washing/ bathing tub, new glass and wood storage canisters made in France (for an incredible deal), and a kitsch stationery holder shaped like a lion for a friend's birthday. You will find fantastic deals here on great-quality stuff - much cheaper than nearby carefully-curated kitchen stores. Because much if not most of the wares here are unused vintage, a lot of them are made in places like Canada/France/Italy and before everything became disposable. The folks that own/run the place are very friendly, and have a sweet old pug that sometimes sleeps behind the counter. I've generally stayed out of the clothing section, but thanks to a previous reviewer, it looks like I'll have to check it out! Sasmart sits opposite grungy Bellevue Square park, just off the beaten path of Augusta. I highly suggest that you pay a visit next time you're in the market!

How could I NOT go into this store!? Looks-wise it's just like the standard HomeGoods we're used to in the States... except its bigger and better. And really roomy. Sometimes these types of stores are so packed you can barely move around - not this location. Set in a lower level/basement like space it felt modern and comfortable. Walking in - I instantly wished I had brought an extra duffle bag. Between the aisles of pillows, the kitchen/dining section, and the picture frames - I was in heaven. Fortunately for Hubs they also have tons of furniture, so he was able to find a {super cute} chair up front to relax in while I wandered. B/c my luggage could not accommodate all that I had seen I settled on a really beautiful picture frame to commemorate our visit to Toronto. Check out was super easy - seeing as how they had several cashiers available. And my frame, after $$ conversion was only $7. Yay for HomeSense!
