I went here around 4:05pm on a Tuesday and it was very empty. It's a very small garden which is located inside Edwards Garden. The Toronto Botanical Garden section is smaller than I expected since most gardens I've visited before were a lot bigger. Other botanical gardens I've been to was a lot bigger, but this one felt like it was just a small section of this park. I was ok with that, but I do wish it was bigger and with more flowers to look at or more activities to do. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a place to relax. They have benches outside near the flowers and I thought that was cool.

Well - this was good yet tough wrapped all in one. First the GOOD: Free to visit, parking is $2.50 per hour so $2.50. Nice flowers and plants, plenty of space and located next to another park if you're really looking to get out and rack up the steps. The BAD: Their gift shop has nothing naming the place in which you are visiting. No postcards, no pens, nothing. Loss of money there. Could have popped my card for $5-20. The UGLY: Signage and direction is ZERO. There should be someone pointing you where to start, a direction to go, anything. We roamed aimless for about 35min before saying no mas and calling it.

Beautiful gardens and space! It does get busy on weekends as they are an event venue. Parking is $2.50 per hour, and the machines are confusing to use. Garden itself is FREE to visit. And there's a public library inside the building of TBG! This is a great wedding venue if you want an outdoor wedding. The staff here are very helpful and friendly.

The gardens are gorgeous, with lots of flowers, trees, greenery, and wildlife. No fee to enter, but you do have to pay for parking. There is a cafe on site if you want a snack or beverage, and water fountains throughout the area. It's a beautiful way to spend a day.

Loved visiting on a Thursday evening for the farmers market, live music, and most of all the traditional Persian Cuisine BBQ! The food was the highlight of our visit and it was so good we went back for seconds. And we weren't alone as more than one guest came back for another helping. Fantastic food, you MUST try the chicken breast kabob served with traditional Persian rice and garden salad! We also loved the corn and Afghan breakfast veggie pie. For a soothing evening filled with sweet music and delicious food, visit the Toronto Botanical Garden.

Fiery Red Japanese maple trees, gigantic leaved Hostas, graceful Willow trees, a bubbling waterfall, birds and butterflies, shaded trails, and a myriad of gorgeous blooms. TBG is a feast for the eyes and a restful retreat from the craziness of life. Lots of winding stairs and paths to follow and many shaded benches to rest at. It's not big, but during the warm months, it's a lovely place to spend the day admiring the beauty of all the different flowers. Have lunch at their cafe, browse their bookstore or peruse their library as well.

The Toronto Botanical Gardens is made up of many smaller themed gardens and spaces like the Teaching Garden, Arrival Courtyard, and Beryl Ivey Knot Garden so there's usually a different favourite section for everyone. You may want to avoid attending during summer weekends as this is prime wedding picture season, parking is usually very limited. I suggest taking the TTC Lawrence bus #54 as it stops right at the corner of Leslie and Lawrence. I like dropping by during the fall as the temperatures are cooler and the autumn foliage is stunning, especially the Japanese maples!

Beautiful spot to see some lovely gardens. It's connected to Edwards Garden which has some great walking paths. There is no entry fee, they do have a spot for donations.

Toronto's best kept secret! Where else can you, especially if you're into gardening and plants and fresh air and beautiful views, find such a delectable assortment of unbelievably stunning plants, including perennials and bulbs and shrubs and hot houses and palms and massive planters and topiaries and fountains and spectacular massive ancient trees and A cute little man-made mountain for which your kids can excitedly run around the spiral till the top where they can view a beautiful carved formal garden a la Florence. I've been here at least four times a year for 40 years and I've never did never been disappointed. Thank you so much, can't waitto hear your free live music on Thursdays this summer.

Unlike most parks, you'll find no grass or benches here. What used to be a parking lot is now filled with gardens, native plant species, prairie meadow, marsh, and trees. At the other end you'll find a rock "outcropping" (a 650 ton rock, coaxed out of the Canadian Shield and reassembled in the park) The park draws many visitors, tourists and is a great place for celebrity sightings during the Toronto Film Fest. Workers (like me!) eat lunch and people-watch at the bistro tables and chairs scattered throughout the park.
