It's not cheap but the quality is definitely there. We love organic apples since apples are on the dirty dozen list. We love the whole experience of picking our own on an amazing sunny day the staff as super nice, there were lots of apples left to be picked. Parking lot is quite small, I suggest to carpool if you're coming in a larger group. We definitely recommend this farm :) Will be back next year!

It was quite busy on a beautiful weekend so we weren't surprised. The staff was very nice and friendly. They gave us advice for picking, we paid ($16 per person) and went in. There's a tractor you can take out to where the strawberries (10 min walk) and raspberries (6 min walk) are. We opted to walk since it was so beautiful outside. Unfortunately, it really was the end of strawberry season. A lot were burnt by the sun or were too soft, especially on the bottoms. After little luck, we decided to pick raspberries only. The buckets are different so we made sure we filled the correct one. There were a lot more raspberries and we worked hard to fill our buckets. Be careful because the raspberry bushes have thorns! We also stopped by the shop on the way out. We'll be back for apple season.

As famous as Unionville Main Street is, for farmers' market I prefer the one held on Markham Main Street. This farmers' market opens on Saturdays usually starting Mothers' Day weekend and ends beginning of October. There may be 10 or 12 vendors here. A few sell locally grown produce. One sells grass fed beef. Another one sells poultry and farm eggs. One or two sell bakeries. The cafe on the same street has a booth for lunch and breakfast items. Two sells jewelleries. Then a few rotate among health and beauty, olive oils, honey, etc.. The prices are higher than the grocery stores, but we don't come to farmers' market because the local products are cheaper than the imported products, do we? The only issue I have is that I wish the chosen location is bigger. Maybe a longer street, etc.. There are ample parking at the parking lot nearby and on the street. Come and enjoy the sunshine.

The parking lot had enough space for a dozen vehicles inside the chain fence and others were relegated to parking on the shoulder of Hwy 48. This place gave me the impression that the Kim's were waiting around for a developer to gobble up their corner property for redevelopment; maybe it happened already. I found the building was an era of the past with mismatch rooms, uneven flooring, makeshift extensions. The word relic kept popping into my mind. If you can get beyond that, there are plenty of plants choices, Koi fish, gardening & pond supplies,, pots, lawn ornaments, etc. The prices were on the high side...my wife knows as our own garden is a testament. Purchases must be over $10 to use credit or debit cards. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We made purchases but this was a one and done.

But this year (covid-19) they don't have much flower and no vegetables. I had to go somewhere else to buy vegetables. They have also birds and fish for sale. They have a maximum of 10 people inside at a time (according to their website) however even though we booked a specific time frame, there was pretty clearly more than 10 people inside. Unlike some other zoos we went too, there was no real path to follow. It's basically a giant square with a small square on the inside. The outline of the larger square is filled with fenced in animals, and the inner square has fenced animals as well. Although its understandable they have an admission fee for the upkeep of the animals, I feel it should have included the feed. Other zoos are free admission and only charge for feed (ie. high park) so in terms of value, this is a bit below par. Finally, I would never say the animals are aggressive, however when trying to feed the goats, one of them bit the entire feed bag and ripped it away. As I'm an adult, this is fine as I am agile and athletic, however a small child could have easily gotten injured, so perhaps some more training would suffice.

You get to choose time slot and we only got 45 mins before we had to leave which was plenty of time mind you since it was really hot. Extra $5 for a bag of feed to feed the animals. My son enjoyed looking at the animals but I wish the price was per person so I don't have to pay the same amount even if I have a smaller family.
