For a small admission fee of $2(used to be free up until a few years ago), you can interact with some cute farm animals. For about $7 you can purchase a bucket of corn and carrots to feed them!! So fun! Small enough space that it is easy to bring toddlers to walk through the site without worrying about taking a stroller through. Some sweet and savory treats for purchase on site as well. Wonderful farm/ farmers market to grab all the fresh in season veggies and fruits you need and want. I enjoy their farm fresh eggs and always grab a few flats and any other specialty eggs (duck, quail, doubles, jumbos) they may have. They also carry goat milk from MC Dairy and fresh cows milk from Sargent Farm Dairy. There is an onsite petting farm where you can buy feed pails to interact with all the animals they have on site. read more

Came here before Halloween and the fall vibes were great. We really enjoyed their petting zoo and $5 feed buckets (carrots, lettuce and corn). They had sheep, pigs, pony?, and more. Lots of photo ops in the field as well! They have a small shop that sells flowers, fruits, baked goods (pies, cookies, etc), and frozen meats. Definitely worth a visit if in the area! read more

A cute little farm with fresh produce, meat and activity for the family/ kids. Came here to see the farm animals and to check out the fresh produce. You can buy a $5 feed bucket that comes with lettuce and carrots which you can feed the animals. They have goats, pigs, sheep, and a cow. You'll learn quickly which animals like which vegetable item (the goats like lettuce only!). It's really enriching and fun for younger kids and seniors as. There were lots of families there who were all really excited for the animals. There was also a little hay maze that you can walk through. I stopped by inside the store front to check out their produce and was not disappointed. Everything looked so fresh and delicious. They even had Love Gelato in their freezers to sell, which was such a great touch to be supporting another local business at their farm. Overall a great time to spend there. The farm is small so you'll get through it quickly. Ample parking diagonally across the street with signage leading you there. read more

mr. Tran wanted to take our toddler to see some farm animals and he saw on IG that Carma farms wasn't too far away from us. Carma farms also have a little shop that sells fresh pies, honey and fruits/vegetables. Behind the shop is where the animals are and we were able to see pigs, goats, and cows while walking the trail. It was nice seeing my daughter being in awe as she got to see the animals behind the fence. You can also buy animal feed for them for a couple dollars. read more

Reopened for 2022! Lots of new babies to be seen, the baby sheep(ewe) is so precious trying to stand up with its new legs. Feed bucket is a great deal. $5, with a $5 deposit returned once bucket is returned. We got loads of heirloom carrots, orange, purple, yellow and the bottom third is corn feed for the ducks and chickens. You can request just corn instead if your kiddos prefer it. Left of farm is the big goat pen, pigs, cows. Right of farm by parking lot is more ducks, sheep, turkey, guard dogs(Great Pyrenees) and some other pigs. There are ducks, chickens and a rooster that roam the grounds, it's pretty funny seeing them walking along 9th line and then flying back into their pens. Lots of great bakery items, Pies are $10, fresh tulips bunches are $8, eggs, meats, honey and maple syrup. Be prepared to spend a good 30mins to an hour, some muddy spots especially if there's rain beforehand so bring rain boots. Lots of tables and chairs around but no hand wash station, just a portable potty. read more

We came to this farm on the weekend, it's pretty popular. It's more of a feeding animals farm than a petting farm. Admission is 2$ per person and 5$ for a bucket of food to feed the animals + 5$ returnable deposit for the bucket. There's lots of animals to see when we went from goats and sheep, pigs, ducks, dogs, chicks and a turkey. Definitely recommend going early in the morning when they open as that's when the animals will hungrily come up to you for food. By noon, they're all full and ready to sleep so there's definitely not more action. It's an unshaded area so bring hats and sunscreen. There's a some vehicles and novelty cut outs to take photos in. A few hay bales that younger children can run under as well. Aside from that, there's fresh veges, fruit, baked goods, etc. - essentially lots of farm fresh items for purchase. Some of our group bought corn and said it was very sweet. Overall, a great experience! read more

I come here with the kids every year because it's something different for them to do. My kids enjoy feeding the horses, pigs, and various farm animals. The admission is $2 per person which isn't bad and it is $5 for food to feed the animals. The place does smell a bit because it is a farm. My kids love climbing the stacks of hay and if your kid is on the younger side then do watch them. They do have a shop to buy pies and random items. read more

I haven't been to too many of the specialty farms where it's just lavender or just sunflowers but Carma Farm seems to be the ideal farm to visit in the all-around category. They have a pretty extensive petting zoo type area with cows, sheep, goats, chickens ducks, and pigs of different breeds for you to feed. You are not permitted to bring outside feed for the animals but they have buckets of carrots and corn kernels for $5 that you can purchase and then feed the animals with. The farm also features a small sunflower patch and by small I mean that it's not the only thing that they grow so it's not as extensive as some of the other dedicated flower farms that you may see on Instagram. You have to pay $5 to access the sunflower fields and they will stamp your wrist to prove that you have paid admission. They also sell locally grown produce, have baked goods like pies and strudels, and also have a pretty significant meat section where you can get whole chickens and some deli meats. There are also a few photo opportunities including a retro style fire truck, several hand-painted murals of different farm animals, along with the sunflower fields. The parking lot is quite small but it seems like there was a lot of traffic coming and going so it wasn't too difficult to find a spot. We're kind of surprised that it was so busy for a Thursday afternoon so just keep that in mind. One thing that seemed a little bit upsetting was that one of the farm dogs had a rash on its nose and I did spot that there was a duck that was limping. I'm also not sure how much shade the animals need but there was limited shade for some of the cows that were farther out from the main building. read more

Just remember the farm goes beyond the parking lot and has another area with goats, more pigs, cows etc. Lots of awesome photo ops with a wagon, tractor and firetruck. Market: Variety of fresh veggies, meat and baked goods! Parking: We've been really lucky and got a spot everytime. Otherwise you'll have to park on the side of the road. Not a bad place to visit to pick up a few things in theory. Most farm stands will charge 2-3 times grocery store pricing under the guise of "freshness" and it's largely the same here, but there are some items that are more reasonably priced. Unfortunately, there is one woman that works here that was exceptionally rude. While picking out 2 dozen cobs of corn and checking the tips (ironically about 1 in 5 were rotten - so much for paying a premium for "farm fresh"), this woman threw a little bit of a temper tantrum, blamed all the cobs that had been opened by previous customers on me and started throwing the corn into buckets, saying it was my fault that they were going to dry up and it was all no good now. TL;DR: generally expensive, a few items more reasonable priced, questionable freshness and TERRIBLE customer service! read more

If I could give this place 0 starts, I would. The customer service is horrible. I called to inquire about the farm. The guy who picked up (Mike Ross) sounded like he had no willingness to answer any of my questions. After I had asked 3 questions, he hung up the phone. He thought I was asking too many questions. He then called me back to ask me what I did for a living. I guess I hurt his feelings by asking questions. Based on the caller ID, his name is Mike Ross. Definitely won't be coming here or recommending this place to others. ***Note: After I had posted the above review to Google, Mike Ross decided to lie about our conversation over the phone by posting a response to my review, which has misinformation. He stated that I had called to ask about something inappropriate. Below is my response to the misinformation. Edit - Response to owner: It's pretty disgusting how this guy needs to lie to justify his rude and unnecessary behaviour over the phone. It's a pretty ridiculous lie too. Why would someone call a farm to ask about slaughtering goats? This dude is a pretty bad liar. Anyways, I was simply asking questions about ticket prices, booking times, and time limits. After the 3rd question, he got annoyed and ran out of patience, so he hung up the phone. He then felt the need to call me back and ask me where I work, because he felt like I was asking too many questions and he got offended. Here's a quick tip for anyone planning to call. Don't ask him more than 3 questions. He'll start to get annoyed and panic, and he'll hang up the phone. This is pretty strange considering the fact that he has a business and people are going to call to inquire about the business. If you don't expect people to call and ask questions, don't put your phone number with the business on Google. Do better Mike Ross! Learn how to speak to customers over the phone with respect and maybe you'll get less one star reviews for your farm. read more

Great local farm with lots of wonderful products. If you are immunocompromised, a senior, or live with vulnerable members of society, just be careful -- when I visited in December 2021, none of the employees (and some customers too) weren't wearing masks inside the store. Lovely place but that will be my last visit for that reason. read more
