Great Australian style coffee spot in LV. Located inside 80 Atlantic it's a gorgeous space with lots of seating both inside and out. Fast wifi and lots of tables means this is a great spot to work out of. Service is fast and they're always so kind. Do not miss out on their food menu -- whether avo toast or brekkie sandwich it hits every time.

Arvo Coffee has a nice industrial interior with some ceiling plants. There's brunch options, coffee and even a bar. They don't roast their own coffee, but they seem to source from a lot of roasters like Proud Mary and Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters. CORTADO - 4 The presentation was elegant since the cortado came in a sleek cortado cup and the latte art was beautifully done. However, the espresso was quite astringent which impacted the whole drink. Not a good cortado, unfortunately. My friend got the Aussie Magic and from the couple sips I had, I enjoyed this one more.

My partner and I live in Liberty Village and Arvo has become a weekend routine for us. We absolutely love their toast options. We always share the Avocado Toast topped with a poached egg and Cured Trout - highly reccomend. Their Matcha Latte is great as well. If you're in the area definitely stop by and enjoy the patio during the summer months as well.

A nice change from the current choices available in Liberty Village. It's a little sparse in design but I do feel once seating arrives the vibe here will be more comfortable. I love all the windows and the architecture of the space. Enjoyed a solid flat white. Curious to give a go to more of the other things they have on offer such as pastries and sandwiches. Love the potential of the place.

This place looks very cute. A good place to have some healthier food and get some work done as well. Food is delicious. A little overpriced but very tasty. I got the roaring bowl. The presentation looks beautiful an ontop of being super tasty.

Arvo Coffee recently as a wine bar and Gord and I stopped in last evening to check it out and have a glass of wine on their patio. Justin, the owner, suggested a sparkling red wine and that's what we had. It was fun and tasty. Justin was friendly and chatty. We'll be back!

I heard so much about the cafe, I decided to see it for myself. Amazing coffee, amazing food, amazing people, and amazing interiors. I am head over heels for Arvo! Unfortunately, my visit was during restricted indoor seating protocols and I was not able to sit and soak in the ambiance. I can definitely see people coming here to work for the day. I ordered the Brekkie Roll ($11) and a Chai Latte ($4.95). I wish the Brekkie Roll came with more than one slice of bacon, but I might have been for the best. The sandwich was delicious - the warm and gooey egg hit the spot!

Pros: Professional coffee, delicious beans that are roasted recently, accessible location, a lot of space for seating, cute boutique shelf inside, beautiful design, wifi, super nice staff Cons: breakfast options too avant grade (for both vegan and non-vegan diets) Delicious coffee , I really felt the coffee was on point and would give Arvo Coffee 5 stars only if their menu was a bit more diverse. I will have to try more on their menu though as of yet the breakfast options are limited. My partner and I prefer more traditional breakfast sandwiches and were disappointed that they had these fancy pickled options. The vegetarian breakfast sandwich I did not enjoy, and the meat option was not enjoyable as per my partner's feedback.

Went to Arvo for the first time after hearing a lot of great reviews! I tried the Nitro Brew and it was smooth and the texture was velvety as it should be. My friend had the Dity Chai and she loved it. They have a large selection of wines and other specialized drinks. I will definitely return again to try more items on the menu! The patio has a great vibe for both socializing and a solo hang out. The tables are well distanced and very clean. The inside has a very modern and inviting vibe and staff are very polite and attentive. I recommend this place!

We made a reservation online for one of the themed nights, and the experience was 10/10 right from the beginning. While waiting to enter the 'cooking school' kitchen, we were served drinks (including choice of wine) and we could browse the 'lobby' area where they had ready-made frozen meals, ingredients, and pre-made soup mixes to go. After an introduction by the chef instructor, our class was divided into groups. Each group was responsible for creating 1 dish from the menu that night, which included appetizer, main, and dessert. We were able to learn various practical cooking techniques and skills throughout the night by rotating through the different stations - such as oyster shucking, pasta making (from scratch), how to create the different sauces, etc. Very useful info and hands-on experience. They had a pasta-making machine on site, and it was fun to shape the pasta doughs into different custom shapes using the moulds. We used all natural ingredients for colouring, such as beets to make the pasta pink / purple. What stuck with me the most was learning how to shuck open raw oysters properly. We also made 3 different sauces to go with the raw oysters, including the classic mignonette (consisting of red wine vinegar and eschalots). The main dish of that night was lamb rack, but because I don't eat meat, the chef personally cooked a grilled salmon & vegetables dish for me (that he whipped up quickly in the back kitchen) - it was nice that they were accommodating like that. Dessert was a sorbet with fresh fruits (sliced strawberries). The whole cooking experience took a few hours, so by the time everything was ready, we were all starving. Food somehow tastes better when you know it was the labour of your own work!

They were super welcoming and created a super friendly and casual environment for everyone. There were a few couples that attended, one came with his mum celebrating a birthday, another came with a friend, one person came alone all ages ranging from young to older adult. The class was well organized and I was engaged throughout the class. Dont worry if you suck at cooking, they are attentive and walk you through every step. They also teach the types of cannabis, recipes, the science and math behind the cooking - these people know what they're doing and I learned so much! We got to take home 6 pop tarts each and a 50+ of gummy bears to last me some time. The poptart was so good, like a butter cookie pop tart reheated it in the oven a week later and was still delicious. So even if you don't plan on cooking more, you get to take home a bunch of delicious cannabis goodies which is well worth it! Would definitely go back and I highly recommend!

The Edible Story is a unique place that brings together the catering, cooking classes, private dinners and corporate events. We came here for a Holiday team get together. I suggested this places because I knew it would be a fun experience working together but also working as a team to make. Wonderful yummy meal that we got to enjoy afterwards. It was such a fun and engaging experience. Everyone was welcoming and made our event so amazing. The chefs were friendly, knowledgeable and really walked us through the process. It was amazing to experience cooking together with my coworkers but also to break bread with them afterwards. We All broke into groups and tackled the menu which consisted of salad to start with a lemony dressing. Followed by the wild mushroom gnocchi with a gremolata, and watercress and Parmesan. The main was steak with cipollini onions in a wine reduction and crispy potatoes with lemon ricotta. To finish we had a flourless chocolate cake with miso included caramel. Everything was easy to make, uncomplicated flavours and just so damn delicious! I'm so happy I got to experience this wonderful place for a second time with an amazing team! I looked at the sign placed on the sidewalk and it offers cooking classes. Cool! What drew me in was a pasta dryer. It was red and translucent. It looked cool. I walked in. There is a little ramp for those who may need a wheelchair to enter and exit the store. Perhaps I had luck on my side. I didn't have anyone asking whether I needed assistance. I like self-discovery when I have nothing in mind to shop for. A female staffer was assisting two other female customers. Judging from their conversation, they would be going at it for a while. One of them was awfully specific about the types of mini bowls that she had in mind. I was correct. They were still talking by the time I had completed by browsing excursion in this store. This store is more on the higher end of kitchen appliances and accessories. If you're looking for higher quality items, you want to shop here. I have a few examples. I found a stainless steel poacher for eggs. I frankly don't think that you need to get one for $15, but you can if you're dying to own one. I found a rather fancy-looking carbonation machine. It made my SodaStream machine that I love look like a toy. I love Le Creuset. It is truly an investment when you are buying pieces, so I don't own a lot of items. I normally hit an outlet or wait for a sale. This place had a silicone brush for basting turkeys or applying egg wash to your pastries before shoving them into the oven. It felt good in my hand until I saw that it was $25. Really? The cooking classes seem to happen at the back. There is a kitchen, but it had so many products around the cooking area that was obviously dormant. It was odd to me. You'd have to take all your products off before you have your cooking class. It seemed like a lot of work. Perhaps there's another kitchen area in the back that I wasn't aware of. Who knows? It was nice browsing around this store. I liked looking at the covered shopping carts. I grew up with a foldable metal one with two wheels. It was bigger that the ones offered here, but I like how your items are protected from the elements. The designed looked nice compared to my boxy ones that I've owned over the years when I didn't have a car and needed to walk to the supermarket down the street. I look forward to returning to this store and checking out their items some more. (31)
