There's an abundance of kitchen supplies from fancy gadgets, baking wares, kitchen storage, tools, and many more of things you didn't know you need. If there's a specific kitchen ware you need, you'll likely find it here. The owners are also very friendly. They know their stuff and are always happy to help. I always enjoy having a look through and seeing what I can find. Depending what you're looking for, the value is really quite a huge range. Compared to William Sonoma for example, you'll find fancy items here for a little bit cheaper. But there are also things you can get from Amazon or in local stores much cheaper. I.e. they priced a potatoes ricer at $43 sale price, but you can get it for $35 online. If you find something you really want here, just take a second to check the prices if you don't already know it. Make sure you're getting a good price. Sometimes it's a good deal, other times it's not actually. Either way, I love stopping by here

True, it didn't say "watertight" on the package, but a huge amount of the food inside leaked out...it did not do what it was supposed to do, but the store clerk decided this was an exception to their returns policy. I had been shopping here for years, happily paying their high prices, but retailers just couldn't care less about service anymore. I guess it's only Kitchen Stuff Plus or Amazon from now on.

A beautiful brightly colored store with kitchen and food themed items. In addition to books Staff was lovely. Very low pressure. I probably could've spent hours poking around the shelves. The service was rude and dismissive when I asked a question. Now, I didn't know that the gentleman was serving someone else one isle over, but they could have said "I'm sorry I can help you in a bit when I'm finishing with this customer in the next isle", but instead was very abrupt, and impatiently snapped that they were with someone else. Had I of know they were helping a customer somewhere else in the store. I would have waited patiently. Looking at some other very similar reviews, it looks to be a pattern of poor and rude behaviour from the owner. This is too bad, because the store itself has wonderful products.

2-2.5 stars I was in…read moreneed of some kitchen tools and this was a recommended shop to visit. Actually, this was the franchise that was recommended, but not this location. I had heard rave reviews for their Bathurst Street location, but this was closer for me. I've been twice now, and each time there are a few employees working, but they don't seem particularly helpful. The first time, after standing at the cash register and waiting for quite some time while the cashier was busy typing away, I asked her about the knives, and she said that the display case was unlocked and to go check each knife for the price. As soon as I open one of the display cases, another employee comes over to assist me. It's just a bit odd that the cashier didn't let the other employee know that I was interested in the knives or tell me to ask the other employee for assistance. On the second visit, after wandering the store and finding what I needed, I went to the cash register to pay. Except that I'm left standing there while the cashier walks off with no explanation. She finally comes back so that I can pay for my items.  The only good thing about the store is that George Brown students get 20% off.
