The service was rude and dismissive when I asked a question. Now, I didn't know that the gentleman was serving someone else one isle over, but they could have said "I'm sorry I can help you in a bit when I'm finishing with this customer in the next isle", but instead was very abrupt, and impatiently snapped that they were with someone else. Had I of know they were helping a customer somewhere else in the store. I would have waited patiently. Looking at some other very similar reviews, it looks to be a pattern of poor and rude behaviour from the owner. This is too bad, because the store itself has wonderful products.

There's an abundance of kitchen supplies from fancy gadgets, baking wares, kitchen storage, tools, and many more of things you didn't know you need. If there's a specific kitchen ware you need, you'll likely find it here. The owners are also very friendly. They know their stuff and are always happy to help. I always enjoy having a look through and seeing what I can find. Depending what you're looking for, the value is really quite a huge range. Compared to William Sonoma for example, you'll find fancy items here for a little bit cheaper. But there are also things you can get from Amazon or in local stores much cheaper. I.e. they priced a potatoes ricer at $43 sale price, but you can get it for $35 online. If you find something you really want here, just take a second to check the prices if you don't already know it. Make sure you're getting a good price. Sometimes it's a good deal, other times it's not actually. Either way, I love stopping by here

And asked us about the size of the table and said, the sizes are written there (she was implying that what's the hold up when the sizes are written). I was a bit irritated and felt discriminated, but tried not to view it like that and thought to myself maybe she was having a tough day. But, now that I read the reviews on Google Maps, I know that my initial thoughts and feelings were right. Elora is a touristy beautiful town and store owners are expected to treat everyone equally and with respect.

I looked at the sign placed on the sidewalk and it offers cooking classes. Cool! What drew me in was a pasta dryer. It was red and translucent. It looked cool. I walked in. There is a little ramp for those who may need a wheelchair to enter and exit the store. Perhaps I had luck on my side. I didn't have anyone asking whether I needed assistance. I like self-discovery when I have nothing in mind to shop for. A female staffer was assisting two other female customers. Judging from their conversation, they would be going at it for a while. One of them was awfully specific about the types of mini bowls that she had in mind. I was correct. They were still talking by the time I had completed by browsing excursion in this store. This store is more on the higher end of kitchen appliances and accessories. If you're looking for higher quality items, you want to shop here. I have a few examples. I found a stainless steel poacher for eggs. I frankly don't think that you need to get one for $15, but you can if you're dying to own one. I found a rather fancy-looking carbonation machine. It made my SodaStream machine that I love look like a toy. I love Le Creuset. It is truly an investment when you are buying pieces, so I don't own a lot of items. I normally hit an outlet or wait for a sale. This place had a silicone brush for basting turkeys or applying egg wash to your pastries before shoving them into the oven. It felt good in my hand until I saw that it was $25. Really? The cooking classes seem to happen at the back. There is a kitchen, but it had so many products around the cooking area that was obviously dormant. It was odd to me. You'd have to take all your products off before you have your cooking class. It seemed like a lot of work. Perhaps there's another kitchen area in the back that I wasn't aware of. Who knows? It was nice browsing around this store. I liked looking at the covered shopping carts. I grew up with a foldable metal one with two wheels. It was bigger that the ones offered here, but I like how your items are protected from the elements. The designed looked nice compared to my boxy ones that I've owned over the years when I didn't have a car and needed to walk to the supermarket down the street. We found out about SHARP Knife Shop at one of the Burlington Craft Markets in 2018. The Owner was…read moredoing a demonstration on how to sharpen a knife and my mom secretly bought us a pig butchery class for Christmas. We went to the class a couple months ago and it was amazing. We started with two pig halves and got to break down the pig with very minimal help from the instructor. We learned a whole lot and we got to take 25lbs home each. The whole environment/shop was very clean and organized. We did have a chance to look around the shop prior to the class and the owner was very friendly and answered any questions we had. While I didn't end up buying a knife from here, I do plan on it when I have enough in my budget to spend on a knife, as I'm not a professional chef. Gage (the owner) knows his stuff and will sharpen one knife for free when you come in and he does a great job. Cleaned up and sharpened my mom's Japanese knife that had gotten rusty. I recommend all my chef friends to go to him for knives, so I have to recommend any of you reading this should check it out. He's got a great selection of amazing knives.

Honest guy and fixed my dryer (heat wasn't working). Woohoo. This is my first time hiring a handy man so you can only imagine how overwhelming it can be to find one since there are so many to choose from. But I chose Appliances Wizards for the owner just seemed like an honest and hardworking person. If you check his website, he even says why overcharge when people are just trying to get things fixed so they can get on with their day to day life.
