This place is good if you want a sports bar that is a touch classier than the average. Just a bit more fresh, airy, family friendly than the others. Great selection of beers, and Tuesday has $6.99 any burger deal you can't turn down. Wednesday is the Chechen sandwich also at $6.99. They have other specials. Whats i like here is, the wait staff here is top notch. I enjoy coming hereafter work once in a while for a drink. They've got plenty of sports channels and TVs to turn your attention towards. I like what a variety of beers the have on draft. A fun place to distract from everything else. 5 stars! read more

We go here for work events because it's close by. The food is decent and happy hour is good. I do enjoy their lunch specials. I think for $5.99 or $6.99, you can get burgers on Tuesdays. That's a pretty good deal since their burgers are humongous. It comes with a side as well. Their brunch is actually pretty good, but I don't like how coffee is extra. Their price on brunch is decent as well - I believe it's around $14. Overall, pleasant experience every time. Giving 1 start because I can't give less. We decided to give Brewbakers a second chance as we had a poor experience previously. They have not improved! After being seated, we waited 10 min before the waitstaff even looked at our table. We put our drink and food order in, 52 min later our food arrived! The waitress came to our table 3 times during that 52 min!! When we left, we were told that we should come back because it isn't always this way! It isKC restaurant week-logic dictates more staff as your hoping to bring in business, apparently Brewbakers didn't get this memo. Moral of the story-we will not go back. This place is a joke. I would give 0 stars if I could.... My family and I came here a couple of nights ago for dinner and while we were waiting for our order I noticed a couple of young girls that were working hitting vape pens in the corner. This place is ABSOLUTELY not up to the health code and is very dirty. The bathrooms were so bad I decided to hold it till I got home. I would not recommend this place to anyone even if it was the last option. The bathrooms told me all I needed to know and I'm sure the kitchen doesn't look much different. This did not come anywhere near the standards of service. This place is not family-friendly at all and they have very low attention to service. Having employees vaping/Smoking while working is ridiculous especially in the restaurant. We will never eat here again and we suggest you do the same... read more

Had a great time and great service at Brewbakers. We were able to enjoy the beautiful day on their large patio. When the sun starting setting they helped us move inside. Saturday had GREAT beer deals on local brews. We also had their truffle fries and they were the absolute best truffle fries I've ever had! They are a must try! The food we had was very mediocre (burgers and quesadilla). Quesadilla hardly had any cheese and the burgers were overdone. We went in on $6.99 chicken sandwich and a side night. It was delicious. I had the buffalo chicken which came out with all the veggie fixings, they didn't ask me if I wanted them left off. I want the cold veggies with the ranch and spicy wing sauce. Nothing better. Side of fries was a crazy huge portion. Server was efficient, pleasant but let us do our thing without too much interruption. Tv situation is solids and really like the place overall. I tried to contact them directly but website doesn't allow. Ordered a tenderloin with no Mayo or anything else on it and side of creamy horseradish. It came drenched in lemon vinaigrette dressing which would be good on my salad but not pork tenderloin. The bartender never checked back. When she picked up my pretty much uneaten sandwich she made a smart ass comment when I said not a fan of dressing I didn't order. Bad service was probably problem but not high on list to go back. She was too busy making free shots and taking with regulars to give a crap about us. Paid $50 for a bad lunch with bad service. Seems like a great place if close enough to be a regular. I love a good bar that has a great selection on tap. Brewbakers offers so much variety when it comes to beers. I love starting a meal here with their buffalo cream cheese dip. A lot of their food options are your typical bar food. I love their burgers. When it comes to atmosphere they really have a nice ambiance about the place for all sports fans. read more

This place is huge, with plenty of staff, plenty of TVs, a patio, and a game room. My chicken bacon cheddar tasted great, and the Tuesday daily special price was good ($6.99). The sandwich was substantial, with plenty of fresh veggies, delicious bacon strips, and tasty chicken on a nicely toasted bun, but the waffle fries were over-cooked. Brewbakers! When I first heard about this establishment, my friend had told me it was "just some boring sports bar, like all the others". But when I visited I felt more of an upscale sports bar, but with a GREAT selection of beers on tap! I honestly don't remember how many, but I tried about 8 of the craft beers. They were great and a few of them rotate! My cousin is good friends with two of the bartenders and they were just awesome to me. They were amiable and chatty and they were that way with all the patrons of the bar. They also offered suggestions on what I should drink next, even a delicious nitro stout-raspberry wheat fusion that was freaking great. I will be back. Came here with a coworker for lunch. We stood waiting at the front for over 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us. She finally told us to take a seat anywhere we'd like and we were promptly met with our waitress who took our order! I had the philly steak sandwich and it was good! I ordered the truffle fries based on a high recommendation from my coworker but they were cold and weren't as tasty as they should've been. The service here is extremely slow even though it wasn't very busy for lunch. It took them 30 minutes to bring out our food. The staff seemed frazzled as well. Hey I like this place! We had a lunch of apps and beer. It was seat yourself and they needed help bussing tables, obviously.. but we found a clean one and ha d a seat. We had cold beer in 22oz plastic cups. Which BTW I love. They were pretty thick so we take them home and reuse them. Believe it or not I prefer my beer out of plastic! We shared some wings, fried pickles, truffle fries and I had a side salad out of guilt. Wings were kinda skinny but cooked well, not tough and sauced plenty. Even brought some extra. Truffle fries were plentiful but the shredded parm needed t be melted a bit. The park just fell off the fries. No worries I was able to fork it up some! The fried pickles were planks vs. Chips. The weren't cooked enough and the breading was too flour-y. Side salad was OK, I didn't know it had red peppers and pickled onions on it (yuck) but that's my bad I guess. Tunnel vision. Wonderful place to watch a sporting event. There are fabulous beer specials virtually everyday if you are a craft beer lover. What is surprising for a sports bar is the quality and speed of the food. I have been to Brewbakers on four different occasions and had the fish & chips (which I would give 5/5 stars), burger (5/5 stars), chicken fingers (4/5 stars) and waffle fries with cheese dip (off the charts wonderful and unhealthy). The only drawback is that if you come to watch a game, once it gets busy it is tough to get waited on. read more

Waited 15 minutes before a server even came to ask us what drinks we would like, constantly had to ask for more water the entire meal, the food was so much better a year ago, it's sad because this use to be my favorite place to eat and it's just a huge disappointment now. Half the staff is slower than a 3 year old, mentally and physically. The bacon on my burger had the consistency of chewing gum.
