Wow! Brewbakers has transformed over the years! If you are in town after a long absence, it's time to meet the new Brewbies. They still have great coffee, but they are now located in a big space on emerald Street(the old blueberry fields spot, I think) and they are using it to its best potential. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have coffee, beer, excellent sandwiches and baked goodies, loads of seating, a take out window, a stage for events, a makerspace and retail[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And if still feels like a cute community coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They had a community craft fair last weekend. The staff are always kind. The drinks and food come out at a reasonable pace to the crowd size. A great asset to the Keene area. It has a small lot against the building and a much larger shared lot across the street as well as street parking. Easy to get to. Lots to enjoy. Still looking forward to some day coming to an evening event. Will keep you all updated out there in yelp land.

Brewbakers is by far my favorite place in Keene. Relaxed atmosphere, great caffeinated (and non) drinks, food (baked goods, salads/sandwiches/small plates with vegetarian and vegan options), fast service. They also have live performances that looked interesting, and sell used vinyl. Parking can be a challenge during the day, although later in the day it wasn't much of an issue. Unlike usual coffee shops, Brewbakers is open until 7pm.

The place smelled like burnt coffee. Rude staff. I miss the old location on Main Street.

The smoothies are fantastic, and the wraps tasty and can easily be customized. This location has just opened fairly recently, but the staff are "with it". With so many choices on the menu, it could be a recipe for disaster, but it's not. They are great, quick, clean and create tasty items. Give it a go! They have add-ons and supplements, so you can easily customize for your preference. Bahama Mama is drool worthy just thinking about it and is our favorite Saturday post-gym treat. My son got a spicy chicken entree that he loved and can't wait to try another kind. It was bigger than I had anticipated, which is awesome. Seriously cannot complain even a little when it comes to quality and flavor. The staff are friendly and hard working, but there aren't enough of them for the store to run smoothly. Both times I waited at the cash register to have my order taken for a very long time while they rushed around getting previous orders done. Frustratingly, you can see online orders popping up and getting in line ahead of you. The first time I was there, customers all around us were getting quite angry. Like I said, the staff weren't lacking work ethic, they are just too few and I hope this doesn't deter people from going back. We want them to stick around forever! We've only been on Saturdays though, so I can't speak for efficiency during week days. From now on we are just going to order online through the app. You get points for free stuff if you sign up! Don't order in unless you have an extra 30-40 min to kill. It would still be worth it though.

This time we ordered a Large Blanco pizza which was great because there was plenty to take home for lunches throughout the week. I had the Tex-Mex burger for the first time. It came with a choice of house-made black bean burger, Impossible patty or Beyond patty. I chose the Beyond and I'm really happy I did because it was so good. Normally I would suggest a Cubano sandwich but they were out chick'n and waffles is great too. But today the burger really hit the spot. I had my choice of fresh greens or roasted potatoes which was a no-brainer. These potatoes are the best. I ordered a second order for my Mom to take home. She loves them. Imagine biting into a firm roasted potato skin with a velvety buttery mashed potato inside. Yeah, it's that kind of good! Today was a bonus, I accumulated enough points for a free small pizza of my choice! Heck yeah, that heats up nicely back home for lunches at work during the week. We might have loaded up on desserts... cookies, chocolate mousse, cupcakes, rice pudding, pastries. Oh yes, it's dangerous! There is seating inside and outside in nicer weather.
