I gave this place a three because it is truly cute and the staff is really friendly but the things that we ordered just didn't taste very good. My daughter got a blue Hawaiian (I think that was what it was called) which she said tasted like a fruit rollup that was melted down and turned into a drink. Very very sweet so much so that it gave her a headache after three sips. I got a chai tea which would've been fine if it wasn't room temperature. I had to ask that they heat it up. Which they did very kindly. I wanted to try the probiotic additive and they kindly let me look at the bottle to see the ingredients. The first ingredient was a chemical sugar substitute worse for you than refined white table sugar. So I did not get that. When a staff member has to look up from their cell phone to see that you're standing there looking for some service I think that reflects poorly on the establishment. So, that said, it's trendy. Super cute. Lots of teenagers love it. I wish them well but it did not feel nutritious. $10 for the Blue Hawaiian and $3 for the tea. $$$ We left it on the table so we didn't fill the trash can with liquid. Sorry. Staff is very friendly and the inside is bright, large and very child friendly. There is a train set and kitchen/market play. Wish they had this when my kids were little. I would be here every day, but I'm here every day anyway cause I love the mega teas. In fact, I've lost 5 pounds since coming lol. The teas are sugar free, (I think they use stevia) 150mg of caffeine and low carb plus the tea is good for you (Herbalife) The protein shakes are good too and they have child size. My first trip to the Nutrition Corner was indeed a positive one, though I did leave with a mixed feeling on the business model. I was drawn in after seeing a Facebook ad for a Harry Potter themed weekend of drinks and teas. I ordered the butterbeer Shake which was tasty, but definitely loaded with sugar and had an after taste like a protein bar. I'm pretty convinced this Shake had more sugar and calories than nutrition, and the price was over $8.00. The staff were all super friendly, though the business model is run like a bit of a pyramid scheme after chatting with someone who was offered a job there but declined. I have seen TONS and tons of friends on Facebook posting all about "the nutrition corner". The protein drinks look like liquid desserts and the "teas"looks to be tropical drinks you would find in Bali. While reading a book over the weekend, and hearing about all these scam companies, I decided to dig a little deeper into the nutrition corner. WELL- first off, they do some SHADY marketing. Never once do they tell you HOW these shakes are "so healthy and so nutritious" for you, just that they are... Their "tea" (which isn't real tea AT ALL) is something that has more sugar and cool-aid. They just dump a packet of HERBALIFE into random sugary juice water that's filled with fake additives. Your "protein drinks" are literally more calories than a Mac and cheese dinner, again just added with HERBALIFE. What is HERBALIFE?! Oh you know just another MLM company better known as a.... If you're looking for an out of the ordinary protein shake look no further! I've seen similar shakes on Instagram and always wanted one but didn't know where. Thankfully TNC opened right around the corner from me. When I walked in there were smiling faces everywhere. I had their Coconut Latte shake and it certainly didn't disappoint. Creamy coco nutty goodness blended up and topped with shredded coconut. It's hard to believe the shakes are all under 250 calories. I haven't gotten to try any of the MEGA teas just yet but I've been told by many friends that they are extremely flavorful and are chocked full of great nutrients. As a person who likes to eat ice, I really like the ice that they use :) !!! I enjoy the teas and ambience. I got teas previously but got to check out the inside today. Many nurses drink them at work, They even donated teas when we were on a Covid unit at one point. I don't mind Herbalife product being used. It's up to an individual to drink this style tea here and that's what I choose- and they are fun and taste good. The shakes are good but definitely have a protein after taste but I like the 3+ flavors I have tasted. I'm not millennial enough to appreciate this place. The store is clean and bright, and the staff are friendly. From the moment I walked in, however, I felt like the man at the counter was trying to sell me overpriced junk that I didn't want, such as I would experience from a BeachBody "coach" or a Tastefully Simple salesperson. (And as it turns out, this place just sells Herbalife products, which I didn't know when I was in the store.) I tried to order a plain tea. Interestingly enough, it's listed on their menu board as "plain tea." But oh ho, how far it is from plain tea! He was trying to up-sell me on aloe, collagen, and other stuff that I kept telling him I didn't want, and he just kept pushing it on me! And it wasn't even brewed, it was a powder! What?! That's not tea. The whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be back. A word of advice: if your paying customer tells you they don't want something, don't force it on them. I hate having to leave a bad review but I also hate that there is a ton of deceptive marketing surrounding this place. When did these stupid Herbalife "nutrition clubs" become a thing? I thought that was a thing of the past after all of the lawsuits? Anyway, the inside of the shop is lovely and inviting but the positives don't go much further than that. There is absolutely nothing "nutritious" about highly processed protein drink mixes laden with chemical fillers and artificial sweeteners. The drinks are beautiful!... but this sadly attracts tons of customers who have no idea what they are consuming. Sure, you'll get the perfect Instagram photo, but you just drank a big-ol'-cup-o-chemicals. I'm sorry, but charging people $8 for a powdered protein drink is just wrong when you can buy a whole fruit/vegetable smoothie for less. I had such high hopes for this place because it's much closer to my house than Thrive juice bar in Hampstead. I really wanted to like this place. My two sons love fun drinks and iced teas. I was first disappointed to see that they use Herbalife to make their smoothies. It has a lot of unnatural ingredients, sugars and carbs. My sons ordered some cool looking tea and the girl at the counter asked me how sweet I would like them explaining that they are "really sweet". I said not too sweet then please. My kids love sweet things like most kids do. They couldn't even drink it! They also love sour things and this drink was so sickeningly sweet and sour it was totally undrinkable. Was excited about this place until I visited and realized it is just a major multi level marketing scam. As I sat and waited 45 minutes for my "shake" I noticed every single beverage was being made with Herbalife powder. No real tea, no real ingredients, just water and powder. If you are not familiar with Herbalife, it might as well be another Arbonne or Shakeology which is a MLM pyramid scheme. In addition to my disappointment to the products used, I watched employees continually touch their hair, their nose and mouth, then continue to make drinks without gloves. When I finally received my shake, the girl who made it forgot to add chocolate chips so she reached her bare hand into the jar and sprinkled them into my drink. Gross. Their marketing as a smoothie shop is great, so I was excited to try it. I am a big fan of smoothies and tea (which are the only things they serve). Unfortunately, their products are all made with powdered Herbal Life as the base, which I wouldn't have known if I didn't ask and is very misleading/omitted in their marketing. There are no fresh fruits, the items tasted like powder with artificial sweeteners. The flavor wasn't bad on the Almond Joy, though I could only drink half because it was too sweet. My daughter got the Tropical which she thought would be a tropical fruit smoothie, instead it was a pina colada flavored powder drink. She took one sip and threw it away. If you are looking for Herbal Life meal replacement smoothies, this is the place for you. If you're looking for healthy smoothies with fresh fruits and other ingredients this is not. This is by far the worst smoothie that I've ever had. When I asked what are the ingredients, they pointed me to the calorie counts. And I said, "no, do you use bananas and almond milk, etc.". They got the manager or owner who pointed me to the pea protein options. I wanted to walk out but didn't. I spent 17.00 on two smoothies that were unpalatable. I had three sips, but the more I drank the worst it tasted. It's basically power and water. On a positive note, my 15 year old and got lots of laughs about this place. The Nutrition Corner is a good place to visit once. Only once, because the prices are ridiculously high for what you are getting. I highly suggest to the owner, Alex, that the prices are lowered. Customers will most likely not want to continue coming in since it hurts their wallet every time, and most people can't afford that. Second of all, although the tea flavors are great and they offer different levels of sweetness, they are not teas at all, and would be considered energy drinks, so that is some false advertising. Lastly, I have yet to find a smoothie from here that isn't very chalky and that actually tastes like the flavor listed. They all taste the same to me, and are made with powder instead of fresh fruit. Gross! Overall, the place is very cute with friendly staff including the owner, but the prices and false advertising just didn't do it for me. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE. It's unfortunate that yelp is basically extorting this new business with only showing the bad reviews. The "tea" is so clever and I am blown away that it's only 20 calories. The workers were super outgoing and helpful, but as soon as we got our drinks I was so disappointed. My shake was melted and it literally came out 10 minutes after we ordered it, so it mustve been sitting out on the counter from another customer's messed up order or something. The worker advertised the teas as amazing and full of vitamins, said that it would make you feel amazing. My boyfriend couldn't drink more than 2 sips of it.
