My first trip to the Nutrition Corner was indeed a positive one, though I did leave with a mixed feeling on the business model. I was drawn in after seeing a Facebook ad for a Harry Potter themed weekend of drinks and teas. I ordered the butterbeer Shake which was tasty, but definitely loaded with sugar and had an after taste like a protein bar. I'm pretty convinced this Shake had more sugar and calories than nutrition, and the price was over $8.00. The staff were all super friendly, though the business model is run like a bit of a pyramid scheme after chatting with someone who was offered a job there but declined. I would give the nutrition corner another go but I do take issue with the business model.

This is the NC admitting to using MLM products which are also known as pyramid schemes

Wish I could give it ZERO stars. This company is hiding info from you from the start. Using pyramid scheme Herbalife products.. I have seen TONS and tons of friends on Facebook posting all about "the nutrition corner". The protein drinks look like liquid desserts and the "teas"looks to be tropical drinks you would find in Bali. While reading a book over the weekend, and hearing about all these scam companies, I decided to dig a little deeper into the nutrition corner. WELL- first off, they do some SHADY marketing. Never once do they tell you HOW these shakes are "so healthy and so nutritious" for you, just that they are... Their "tea" (which isn't real tea AT ALL) is something that has more sugar and cool-aid. They just dump a packet of HERBALIFE into random sugary juice water that's filled with fake additives. Your "protein drinks" are literally more calories than a Mac and cheese dinner, again just added with HERBALIFE. What is HERBALIFE?! Oh you know just another MLM company better known as a.... PYRAMID SCHEME. I can not believe that they are posing as a health food beverage company, selling you garbage Herbalife, and continuing to fund such a disgusting company that was designed to prey on the weak and uneducated, usually ending in tons of debt. STEER CLEAR. These tiny little scams are popping up everywhere!

If you're looking for an out of the ordinary protein shake look no further! I've seen similar shakes on Instagram and always wanted one but didn't know where. Thankfully TNC opened right around the corner from me. When I walked in there were smiling faces everywhere. I had their Coconut Latte shake and it certainly didn't disappoint. Creamy coco nutty goodness blended up and topped with shredded coconut. It's hard to believe the shakes are all under 250 calories. I haven't gotten to try any of the MEGA teas just yet but I've been told by many friends that they are extremely flavorful and are chocked full of great nutrients. I'll certainly be back soon.

Not bad, but not great. There is a good amount of variety to the drinks, all focused on serving customers who are health conscious and like the protein smoothies and metabolism boosting teas. I liked the overall atmosphere of the store, but it seems overpriced for what you receive. The drink that I got was the pineapple sunrise and it tasted good, but I would not pay $10 for this again. As a person who likes to eat ice, I really like the ice that they use :) !!! I was underwhelmed though with my drink, but I would be open to trying the smoothies because they seem to be better.

Are any of the shakes keto?

No. They're all full of sugar.

Are these drinks caffeine free? Also could they list what ingredients they are using because some people have severe sensitivities? Just because the drinks are soo pretty looking I'd love to try it but I NEED to know what I am drinking.

Hi Sarah! The shakes are caffeine free and the teas have can have 0-200mg of caffeine. A lot of our specialty drinks are caffeine free such as our Minis, Sports Nutrition, Collagen drink, Relaxation tea, etc. We have all major allergens marked on… Read more

We got a breakdown of the menu - enough that we felt comfortable with what we ordered. Both of us enjoyed our orders at first. Both of us couldn't wait to leave at the end. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, this shop is somehow affiliated with Herbalife. There are stickers on the menu. Before coming in, I had no idea what that meant. By the end, we concluded that both of our drinks had the same "base(?)". Hard to describe: perhaps sweet, Splenda-filled mocha-ish chalk that gets left on your palate. We wanted to be polite, because they were very nice, but in the end we couldn't get out of there fast enough. Started strong, and maybe we both happened to order something we didn't like, but because they both tasted the same, I can't imagine I'm up for a second try, even out of curiosity. Best recollection: This is like when you are trying to be polite at a friends house who is serving sugar-free cookies, and you are looking for the saltiest chips to wash the taste out of your mouth.

Similar to other healthy nutritious drink bars, they serve up an interesting good variety of protein shakes and energizing, boosted mega teas. Combo pricing for both tea and smoothie is $10-$14. This place is very similar to Integrity Nutrition in Concord, 207 Nutrition in Maine, and Unbelievable Nutrition, Unbreakable Nutrition, Unmatched Nutrition, Unstoppable Nutrition, and Untouchable Nutrition in the Albany NY area. The atmosphere is inviting and spacious with very limited seating due to the pandemic, which has a few tables and chairs and soft chairs to enjoy your crafted beverage(s). On my recent first time visit, I decided to combo up to save $2. I ordered a Basic Tea and Shake Combo ($10.90 with tax) on a Relaxation Ice Tea (caffeine free) and a Churro Dessert Shake. The relaxation tea was cool and refreshing with a good vibe with each sip, not too sweet. The Churro Shake was very good, which had the flavors of a cold dulce de leche dessert with sweet cinnamon and topped with pieces of cinnamon toast crunch cereal. which had amazing flavors, yet refreshing and filling. I enjoyed my cold drinks outside on a hot and very sunny day.  The pleasant staff was very busy making drinks and could tell I was a first timer to this store. Like I mentioned, it operates in similar fashion to other nutrition oriented tea and shake bars, but with different drink offerings there. I also registered to be on their email list for news and offers. I can't wait to stop in again to enjoy their other creative drinks.
