    Assorted dozen!

On a recent visit to Sandown I discovered Triple Elm, a wonderful breakfast spot with lots of delicious options. For Sunday morning breakfast, I brought home a dozen assorted donuts. So good and made a really cold morning a lot more enjoyable!

Small coffee and ice cream shop that's set a little back from the main street of town. We specifically came in for some ice cream in the afternoon. There are so many flavors to choose from! We ended up ordering the Moose Tracks and Blueberry Pie in the kid-size. The flavors were okay and very sweet, so we didn't end up finishing either of our scoops. We took our orders to-go, but the cafe has some indoor and outdoor seating if you're planning to dine-in. Overall the service was alright. Another person in our group had some issues with their order but the server eventually got him the right ice cream.

Medium iced coffee with Samoa (mocha, caramel, and coconut) flavoring and oatmilk

Ice cream and service are great, but soft serve machine has been down for 3+ months. Very disappointed about that.

Stopped in for an ice cream. Paid $10 for a large and a small soft serve. The cones were the size of a very small kiddie come. Ripoff

I crunched on at least five of them. It's very disconcerting. The latest trend in New Hampshire lately is charging you to use your credit card well, I use my credit card all the time and I'm not gonna pay you extra for any inconvenience. That's ridiculous. We immediately felt at home, welcomed and comfortable. I was passed by a delicious looking Bloody, and realized the second piece of the puzzle was here - a liquor license! Don't get me wrong, it's not NEEDED, but man oh man do they taste amazing. Right off the bat I settled in. We have a long standing tradition - try all the meats. There's been more than a handful of times we were put at a "normal" two seat table - and had to get a second one dragged over to help with all the food ‍ My wife usually gets some form of Benedict - she's a "light hollandaise" gal and can never seem to get that so she always gets it on the side. She cleaned her plate off and loved everything she had. We are dying to go back soon - from one super foodie (with a minor in Sunday brunch spots to go to in the area) to others, you won't be disappointed.

And they have free wifi which is great for working remotely. I also would love to say the service is fantastic. I don't know the name of the girl who served us but she was so friendly. And the drinks came out super fast! We got one of the energy drinks and a mocha. The energy drink was really good (very similar to a Rush at aroma joes!) and my dad enjoyed the mocha. But here is my only complaint.... The scones are not great. I think it is nice that they have a wide variety of pastries. But the scone (blueberry white chocolate) was both super dry and overly sweet. I couldn't even finish it. It was honestly reminiscent of crumbl cookies. So if you like sickeningly sweet scones (like the cookies at Crumbl!), then this would be great. I've had scones like this where it is balanced, but I fear this was too much and I probably won't get a scone here the next time I come. Otherwise, this spot is really cute and I highly recommend checking it out!

There are a few tables with chairs inside to enjoy your treats. They offer a selection of NH made & regional products, "penny" candy, homemade chocolates, fudge, freeze dried candy, coastal Maine popcorn, teas, honey, 30+ flavors of homemade ice cream/frozen yogurt/sorbet including vegan flavors (cones, bowls, waffle cones, sundaes, floats, freezes, frappes), smoothies, bubble tea drinks, refreshers, mocktails, coffee drinks, cooler drinks, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, lobster rolls (seasonal), homemade salads, clam chowder, pasta dishes, and seafood. They also offer specials here (check their Facebook). There were no fried foods at the time of this posting (on pause), though they previously offered fried seafood & fries. I placed an online DD order to Audet's very recently since I had a promo and credits to use. My order was all set to go in about 45 minutes after placing my order back at my home. I took my time to head over to East Hampstead for pickup. My order was just about ready as I arrived. I ordered the Clams (with shell) Scampi ($21.95), The "NH" Wich ($10.95) with chips and a Small Homemade Cucumber Salad ($3.50) and headed back home to enjoy my food. The scampi had 10 littleneck clams in the shells of soft butter garlic fettuccine noodles with a soft dinner roll and seasoned broccoli & carrots on the side. The NH Wich had homemade chicken salad with small tender chicken pieces, cranberries, red onion, celery, dill, light mayo mix & leaf lettuce on soft egg bread. I actually toasted the bread slices and put the sandwich back together before eating. The side of salted chips were crunchy. The homemade cucumber salad had fresh cucumber slices, shredded carrot & dill in a light vinegar dressing. Overall, all of the food I ordered on this visit was very tasty and fresh. I will definitely have to stop back in again for some ice cream and other food offerings.
