Loads of queso - not many chips to eat it with. Maybe they should serve it as a soup with spoons so they don't have to provide any chips.

I left a review on Facebook and the owner or whoever runs their FB page wanted to keep going back and forth with me. I had to stop responding to his/her comments to just make it stop! Hence, the 1 star. Would have given it 2 stars if I didn't feel attacked on social media for leaving an honest review (which leaving a review is something I seldom do). Looooong wait for 3 meals. Over an hour for fajitas and tacos. $11 for a "top shelf" margarita served in a small martini glass filled with ice. Huge bowl of queso with about 20 chips to eat it with. Waitress never asked if we'd like more nor did she offer to pack up the leftover for us to take home (and eat with a bag of our own chips?) Posted a photo of the queso on FB and told since you can see someone eating a chip in the photo - my description may not be an accurate depiction of what we were served. Umm, ok? My son was grabbing a chip as I took a photo to share with a friend about how pathetic our ($9) appetizer looked. Not sure what benefit I would get out of hiding chips just to make the photo look as sad as it does. But, sure, Rita's when you don't like honesty start bashing the customer. That's a great way to get someone to come back in! Ambiance - none. There are lamps above the tables. That's it for decoration in the dining room. I guess the bar is nice, but I wasn't there to sit at the bar and judging from the one drink I had... I have a hard time believing the bar is anything spectacular because that drink sure wasn't!

We went Friday night, I get that they are newly opened, but it's been a few weeks now. Below are what we experienced: 1. No atmosphere at all the place is dimly lit, not decorated and very loud. 2. Service was horrible, no drink menus at the tables at all 3. "Queso" was a tan/orange color and was extremely salty, served with store bought chips 4. Chips were served in a plastic basket with no liner, were store bought and stale 5. Owner, or relatives of the owner were parked at a table in the bar drinking the entire 2 hours we were stuck there. 6. Chicken quesadilla was served with dried out shredded chicken, and had raw onions and peppers in it? No sour cream or salsa or anything with it. It wasn't even cut when it arrived. 7. Steak fajitas were actually pretty good, however they weren't served with a cold plate of cheese, lettuce, sour cream or anything. 1 star for the steak All in all it was not a very pleasant experience and we won't be back.

This was their version of a chicken quesadilla without peppers or onion ... or taste

Great frozen Margs and food is good also. Stop in and see Kayley and Jess and grab a quick drink and snack.

Service is great and the food is made with love. My favorite is the Verde or the Devils soup.

Food was fair. One quesadilla had just chicken and cheese. The chips and salsa were fresh. Loaded chicken burrito was better.

Then modern art Mexican metal sculptures. We were greeted after a short time by a friendly host and taken to the dining room about half tables and the other half bar area. Mexican posters and a large mural of wooden aging barrels for atmosphere. The menu has so many options you could eat for a month and not repeat your exact dish. A large drink and beer selection. The portions are huge and my chimichanga was packed with what seemed the meat of an entire chicken. This turned out to be an epic lunch, so glad we stumbled onto Flaco's Cantina

For dinner we ordered the Mar Y Tierra Molcajete for $34.99. It's says enough for two, but after two baskets of chips, it's enough for three! It is a steaming hot lava rock bowl filled with the most tender marinated grilled steak, grilled chicken, grilled chorizo, grilled shrimp, onions, cactus and melted cheese bubbling as it arrives to your table! And it stays hot! It is served with four tortillas and sides of guacamole, cheese, salsa, beans and rice. Every bite was excellent. We rolled out of there completely satisfied and with a take home box. Our server was pleasant and helpful. The decor and music were spot on the Mexican theme. We are definitely returning.

121925 re:"the english muffin" maybe the chef changed?…read more I returned to the English muffin today very disappointed. The waitress was nice , but unfortunately, she didn't cook my meal. i didnt air my grievance but i was grossed out. no effort was made in the kitchen. i'm thinking while the cats away...bogus meals are born... I don't know how long the toast was sitting out before they decided to butter it, it arrived at my table with a big hunk of butter that never melted. Don't bother to butter cold toast, and re: the broccoli omelette with provolone cheese the provolone cheese never melted. It was a hunk of gunk, there were probably three pieces of broccoli in the entire omelette. no exaggeration. I was so disappointed and the hashbrowns -shredded potatoes had bad old grease taste. tasted like they've been lingering too long. Somebody in the kitchen should taste the food they're putting out. I've come here for years. This was the worst meal yet. don't think I'll be back. There's too many competitors out there. my niece had the vegetable omelette. She had the same problem with her provolone cheese and left her retching gagging, and therr were barely any vegetables in the omelette. Her home fries were old overcooked and inedible. Her toast also had the same wad of butter on it when she left to go home unmelted. it still hadn't melted . and they don't have refills on sodas. That ticked my aunt off. She likes a free refill. The manager and her son were off today. It was a Friday. Maybe it's just an off day but I can't mask my disappointment. It's a shame I used to really enjoy it there. The iced water was OK. I just can't take those old bubble vintage glasses from the 60s .are just nasty My imagination was aflame. my meal was a bummer. overall unpleasantness. too bad I put my toast under the potatoes and egg in an effort to make the butter melt. That became the purpose was the only use for the dismal omelet and potatoes as it melted the butter... well almost melted ...just weird. a real drag. wish i had slept in...footnote The food went thru poor Sandy 4x that hour.
