Cool place, but it feels more like a coffee shop than a brewery. Very open air, clean, bright, and plants. There's parking out back and occasionally they have events like karaoke and food vendors. What really drew me in was the build you own seltzer option. I got really excited and tried the lavender since that's my go to coffee but it doesn't work as a seltzer. I think I need to come back and try the other flavors!

I came across this place through yelp looking at breweries it popped up. The rainbow flight caught my eye and I had to come by. We came on a weekday a little after they opened which isn't busy but there were other customers besides my party of 3. Service was maybe a tad slow since there was only one person working but he got the job done. Price was decent and everything we had was delicious, although I didn't favor the lavender selection. I definitely would suggest this place to try something different and hang out is very chill. Music is what you usually would hear in a restaurant setting. They have food truck to order food in the back. Seems it's prepared healthier than all places I've gone. The restroom area needs a little work on smell even though it looks clean it needs to be deep cleaned to rid the smell of urine. For sure the bowl and down of the toilet is where the smell is coming from since it's a bathroom that all can use and men's urine runs down it causing the smell. Either then that, I do plan on coming back in the future bringing other friends to check out this location and the food truck is another reason I'd for sure be back. Maybe I'll bring the kids next time since they are kid friendly.

Came here for Father's Day. It was my first time here and i e been a anting to try them forever. Glad that I came because I fell in love with them. I first tried their beer at the Manteca Christmas at the Center and now fully experiencing them at their location. I ordered a beer flight and every one was good. I would say my favorite was the Watermelon Wheat. I still need to try their snacks but their beer is something I would come back for.

Must try choice of beer flavors. Check the number in their menu..

When was the last time I was here... hmmm , been awhile... I love the new addition of decor, the plants and wall hanging stuff. As usual I tried the flights again, just to give a try first if there's new variety. Yesterday when I visit was not busy maybe I was too early. The same cool vibe.

Brethren Brewing Company is an amazing addition to Manteca! I've seen this business blossom from a small group of friends who had a passion for crafting good beer, into a thriving business. Throughout their entire journey, they have brought an admirable passion for the Manteca community. Early on, we got to tour the building they are located in before it was what it is today. Let me tell you, the amount of love and care they have put into this building cannot go unstated. It's absolutely beautiful inside and you can immediately feel how much they care about making sure everyone is comfortable and enjoys themselves. With regard to the beer, it's consistently great. They are constantly making sure they add new selections or even bringing back old favorites. Whether you'd like something light and refreshing, or something dark and strong, you'll find it here. They have a food truck or food option every night. They even have special events, like trivia, bingo, or karaoke as well! Come check out this awesome addition to Manteca, you will not regret it. You'll likely see us there!

Amazing beer selection, welcomes well behaved dogs, has good truck. Great customer service, open clean area, and outdoor patio

This was really good beer and really affordable. The inside was clean and chic and the staff was super friendly and efficient. I'd recommend going here if you're in the area. The folks serving food outside of the brewery as well were really kind and all around a good experience.

I finally made it out to Brethren and I cannot recommend it enough. Such a fun place in Manteca for friends to hang out Family friendly brewery! Beautiful interior, amazing service, and awesome food trucks. They even have snacks for the kids and the best of all, a candy flight! If you are in the area or local to Manteca, give this place a visit!

Nice neighborhood brewery. The beer selection is great and always fresh! With so many beer options, you're bound to find a favorite. Personally I like to watch sports when I'm drinking and if you do to, make sure you bring a tablet or laptop because this place has no TVs. Bartenders are friendly and very attentive. Food trucks are usually parked out back and they rotate daily. On this particular visit I had the skewers from the pinoy truck. They were sooo good. Plenty of room inside and outside to relax. Weekly events like karaoke, trivia, bingo, etc. Stop on by and give it a try! Kid friendly and dog friendly!!

Staff birthday, meant cake for all guests.

I am so excited to finally have a place where we can go to on a date nights out that is not a wanna be biker bar with piss smell at the door and puke on the bathroom floor. The attention to decor and ambiance as well as the expertly crafted beer makes this a new go to for me. Finally Manteca is letting its own residents create spaces that truly fit the motto of the city. The Family City. The snack options kept my little one entertain while hubby and I were able to enjoy the company of friends for an hour or so on a random Thursday evening. This is a place where everybody knows your name and you're welcomed by all.

Came for the burger :)…read more My husband and I live in the East Bay and wanted to go on a lil drive. We decided on Murphy's for the Watering Hole burger which did not disappoint. We ordered 2 Double Cheese Burgers, the Broccoli Bacon Ranch Salad and an order of French Fries that included a side of ranch. All of what we ordered was delicious. The burgers come with double patties and are grilled along with the onions, the bun lightly toasted, soft and sweet and included a smear of 1,000 dressing. The burgers have 2 different types of cheese, fresh crispy shredded lettuce, pickles and sliced ripe tomato. It is the perfect combination and proportions of all ingredients. The Broccoli Bacon Ranch salad was not like anything I have had before and was a nice surprise to our taste buds. The salad included fresh bell peppers both yellow and red. It also had pickled onions, sunflower seeds, bacon and blue cheese that was all tossed together with ranch dressing which made it very convenient and easy to eat. Last but not least, the French Fries. They included a nice seasoning on the outside for a crispy texture and a creamy inside which I love. I liked the fact that they serve the fries with homemsde ranch and I didnt even have to ask for it...it's the little things for me. We sat inside to dine, I enjoyed seeing what others were eating, of course lots of burgers but also ribs, pasta, chicken sandwiches, salads and even cheese cake for dessert. I like that the menu offered a variety of options and brought great value for the quality and care that you can taste in every bite! I did not notice any issues with service as I saw other reviews reported. I would say that the inside, although cozy was a bit loud while others socialize. I think it was simply the high ceilings that carry the noise. The outside seating area is another option and is very nice as it's next to a stream which we would have chosen if it hadn't been 57° outside that day.

Great selection of beer, just a couple of IPA's which was fine with my group since we aren't fans. Their Mexican lager and blonde were YUM and the others we tried were exceptional good. They are very welcoming, friendly, and their son is the brew master so it was fun to see him in action while he was tending to the tanks pfrom time to time. The only reason why I knocked off one star is and it just may be us be we love to eat while drinking. I went for the free Bingo with my friend and she had the most delicious mocktail (it had pineapple in it) and the owners let me try their new orange IPA (yes...delicious as it sounds!!) and their apple pie seltzer (OMG like dessert in drink form) and their strawberry mint seltzer (light and refreshing). You can bring in food to eat while you drink, socialize and play games, and families are welcome. There were a couple little kids there with their parents. Perfect spot for parents looking to get out without having to get a baby sitter. Love this place!

We were seated quickly and served waters right away. My husband ordered the fish and chips, while I went with the jalapeño chicken sandwich. The sandwich came with a grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, crispy fried onions, and jalapeño dressing on grilled ciabatta bread. I also upgraded my fries to their Bleu fries (topped with bleu cheese crumbles and bleu cheese dressing). The fries were definitely a highlight--served hot, crispy, and perfectly paired with the bleu cheese. My husband was really impressed with the fish and chips, which he hadn't tried here before. The fish was beer-battered and fried, served with fries and coleslaw. He especially liked the coleslaw, noting that it tasted fresh with great flavor and wasn't overly coated in mayo. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and the experience. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

This worked fine for us. We had our menus and drinks in a reasonable time, and had a relaxing time throughout. We both had the pulled pork sandwich along with the ice tea. My friend, whom I realized often fusses about the meals we share, was more critical. His comments were "Wrong bun, hamburger bun shoulda been an onion bun" and "How long does it take to make a sandwich?" (The wait time was totally reasonable to me.) He didn't like the potato salad (but ate it all with little time spared). He liked the meat in the sandwich, giving it a 5 out of 5. He liked the service less (I felt it was on point and just fine.)
