Want great microbrews, look no further! Enjoyed doing a flight of what they have on tap and enjoyed The Lawnmower, Mumbling Mule, and Predestination Porter the best! Have snacks, but there is a food truck outside their door. The person serving was amazing (didn't catch her name, but was extremely friendly). My only complaint is that the building is old and it echoes, so you find yourself shouting at your neighbor. Beside that, I love this place!!! read more

I'm a little torn with this brewery especially with visiting other breweries and experiencing the contrast from the inside setting and selection of beers. I'm definitely not trying to compare as there's always going to be something you like and don't like about a brewery. For the most part I love that this brewery is local and not to far away from home. I like how they have a relaxed atmosphere and welcome in kids and dogs. As a new customer, the service I received was friendly and welcoming however I wish they would've gone over some of the beers they had on tap. I know they are small batch brewery, my apologies if that's incorrect but having a lager or a hard cider for those that don't do IPA's and stouts would be ideal. The interior of the brewery was very aesthetically pleasing and there was more than enough chairs and tables. I did visit this brewery close to closing and it was a Sunday I believe so maybe that was just a slow day. I like the names they chose for the brews, very interesting. I order the flight of brews but speaking of flights, they even have something for the kids to order, a candy flight! The kids get to choose three kinds of candy and basically it's a flight with three selections to munch on. They also have chips, pretzels, and popcorn for sale. The selection I picked was the chocolate coffee stout, the redemption imperial stout which was pretty good. The chocolate taste and cold brew coffee in a stout amazingly went well together. I don't usually favor stouts but this was something different to try and it was good. I tried the sower, which is a wheat brew they offered and it was okay but not what I was expecting. I was expecting a more traditional Hefeweizen. I also had the lager-type selection, the der rasenmaher but I was on the fence about it and couldn't quite figure out what I liked or didn't like about it. The other two were IPA's and the first one I remember was the Consensus IPA. It wasn't my cup of tea but I finished it. The last one was the frosted tips, a west coast style IPA and that was good, I enjoyed that one. If you're in Manteca, stop by and check this place out! The service and ambiance was nice but not many beers to choose from and ones they had were just ok. The food leaves much to be desired. The lumpia was over cooked and very small. I have had lumpia many times and these had hardly anything inside were the size of a finger. Not really beer food. Also if they could do something about the acoustics it so echoey that its hard to talk so everyone gets loud. read more

We had to get up to go to the food truck to order food, not a great experience at this other place_back to Brethren, the No television is hard to swallow, while we were there drinking, would have been great to see some sports. The beer is good quality, but that's like saying "oh that person is nice but I don't want to date them,they don't have x that I look for in a partner " Same concept, nice place, good beer, but missing TVs, missing finger foods, missing menu for kids ( they claim to be family friendly) ...ugh! Really wanted to like this place, i do, but not enough to date exclusively. I'll come back for a quick drink and move down the street or go back home to watch the games and still enjoy good company. The extra space in the back would have been PERFECT for kitchen space. Who doesn't get hungry with beer!?!?!?! I happened to go on their Grand Opening so the place was packed, inside and out, and there was nowhere to sit. Having given that qualifier, everyone was really nice, the beer tenders hustled so the line never got long. They offer candy and snack flights, which I think is brilliant, and they have some merch with their awesome logo on it. The two beers I had - Consensus IPA and Ada IPA - were both good. The aesthetic is not my favorite - white and really bright - but that's a personal preference thing. And it's on street parking, which was tough because they were so busy. Go. Try the beer. Minus star Both are missing from this place... me and the mates came here, we getting older and so now we have little ones ... the place was advertised as family friendly, but we try to be good parents and not give beers to the kids , we had to send them home with the lassies - not kid friend ergo not family friendly place - sorry mate ,minus star I know we were misfits growing up but don't want my toddler to be drunk with me and they can't drive me home, so home with mum they go No drinking options for them ... no food either No television !? Back to beer and food ... adding to the trifecta that makes society thrive ... is entertainment And we didn't see a stage with Shakespeare plays. Need television, football, baseball, American soccer football...maybe some reality tv? The beer was might tasty... good quality ...like fueling my automobile with petrol , beer fuels me...gained star! Good stuff but missed by a kilometer with the absence of television , food, not family friendly... can't bring kids, they are still consider family, innit? more like a place where I can go when me lady js mad at me ...plus for that Even the dicey dicey bar 133 club has tv and some sort of food, sure full of preservatives and questionable ingredients that may lead to cancer, but at least it-has food and beer Beer is good enough to bring us back - hope they have Wi-Fi , but even if not, we got strong signal on the mobiles and can watch the games ... Here's my honest opinion nothing special. Actually, very disappointed not a lot of selection of beers. The beer wasn't that flavorful kind of roomy inside but can't get crowded with a lot of kids. I've never been to a brewery where kids were invited. It's not very family orientated. See what I did there Daniel . Not a lot of options for food. I'm hoping someone else can open another brewery. Loved this place. My brother and I were looking for a good beer while passing through Manteca and found it here. Wonderful beer! It was a quiet Monday night, so we had a long chat with the owner, Dan Machado. What a kind and interesting fellow! He showed us the brewery itself, and we chatted at length about various things they're doing at the brewery. For example, once a year they auction off a bar stool (the "Norm" chair) with the proceeds going to a local charity. If we lived nearby, we'd be regulars. read more

The beer is so tasty. It was very fresh. I was able to enjoy higher alcoholic content because of the freshness. I also loved that there were non alcoholic options I can enjoy on days I don't feel like drinking beer. The baristas were happy to answer all my questions and guide me in the right direction when ordering. The only think I could see that would need improvement is the sound quality. It got pretty echo-y which didn't kill the vibe but could be improved. Giving it a 5 star because I know I will be returning and thoroughly enjoyed myself. read more
