When you go to a brewery, it's typically with friends. Part of a friendship is engaging in conversation. But how can I have a conversation with the person sitting right next to me when the live music and pre-recorded music is too loud? I shouldn't have to yell and lose my voice at an eating establishment. Furthermore, the vocalist has not received adequate training in the art of singing. She was out of tune, particularly flat, most of the time. As a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Music, it was painful to listen on both accounts of lack of skill and decibel levels. We came here for Singo (music bingo) the other night and it was so much fun! The place was really busy so get there early! The food truck was really good. Also, place your order early or you're going to have a long wait. They have a lot of options for beer on tap and a few options if you want something else. They do not have ice so don't ask for it. People come around regularly to take drink orders so you don't have to run to the bar when your drink is empty. read more

Such a fun place! We celebrated a friend's retirement here. They allowed us to reserve tables and decorate our section as well as bring our own food and desserts. It happened to be line dancing night. I did not participate but it was fun to watch the regulars help the newbies. The establishment has good drinks and cool merchandise. Dying Breed does not serve food but a different food truck is there every night.(Parking is limited on busy nights so show up early!) What a fun time on a random January Saturday. Lucked into a front row parking space and quick service at the counter. The beer? Very good! Grabbing a flight was super easy and solo to go cans worker out perfectly. The outdoor beergarden was great looking but we sat inside. The 2 hr drive from Concord was worth it! read more

During busy nights finding a place to park can be an adventure. With that being said, this place has a vast tap selection and usually some bottled barrel aged beers. Have had to wait a LONG time to get to the front of the line to order a beer when large crowds are present. The food truck(s) can take forever to serve on busy nights, but again this is a result of having large crowds. Having multiple places to order beer would help alleviate the problem, but I have never seen this option here. Overall, a great place to enjoy the beer, but the food/parking situation can be frustrating on nights with large crowds. The Friday night line-dancers are fun to watch. read more

Well I really enjoyed Friday night line dancing seeing families come out and enjoy either big groups of birthday parties or Friday night line dancing with every age on the dance floor it was really amazing to me so they were kids from From you know say six or seven years old older Senior dancing it was great highly recommend good family!! read more

June 1st was my first time at Dying Breed. The parking lot and street were packed with cars (good sign), and there was a pizza food truck out front. Walking in, there's a great barn facade over the bar with cut metal and big prints of their art on the walls. All of their brew tanks are adorned with custom cut branding, and they've got a huge cooling fan set up for the hot day. Great first sight. Outside, there's a beautiful big awning permanently set up to give great shade, and they were having a bingo benefit for cancer survivors. Along the sides, they've modified shipping containers with natural wood, tables, and booths to give more shade and seating. Okay, on to the beer - it's all fantastic. My wife and I both got flights to try as much as we could, and nothing disappointed. Our favorites were the two different double IPAs, but the coffee vanilla porter, the wet hop IPA, and the pilsner were great as well. Everything was bright, fresh, and very flavor forward. No sens of off yeast or muddy hop combinations. They really had punchy tropical, floral, or dank notes depending on which beer it was. I was delightfully surprised how rich the flavor in the porter was without it being sweet or heavy. The staff were friendly and came by clearing tables as we'd finish glasses. We really enjoyed the afternoon here - looking forward to coming back. read more

What a fun brewery it offers great service and fantastic beers. I can only imagine how fun this spot is on a nice summer day with a good band and some dancing. The merch shop was on point I think our group bought one of everything. I'm a talker so I talked with everyone while they were serving our beers and they were all so friendly and knowledgeable. I love this place. Everyone there, including the employees, were happy and super friendly, which was an unforgettable experience. I was turned on to this place by my wife, Who had the pleasure of attending this place of happiness with her coworkers just the night before. I had my dog, KOA with us and my brother in law who immediately caught the attention of a lovely couple who sat across from us cause he wore a gay shirt. Don't ask...! However, I honestly feel like, KOA got most of the attention that night. Everyone wanted to say hi to him, and give him treats from the bar. Ohh, did I mention how dog friendly this place is? Yeah, there were two other dogs there that KOA got to play with for a bit. That made me really happy. Tons of brew choices, I forgot what I had but, I was satisfied, food truck on site, I picked up the brisket nachos, very tasty. They had a live band that we didn't get to stick around to listen to. But it's an often occurrence to have a live band there so, I'm sure I'll get a chance to check it out. I'm sure we'll make our way there again..., and again, and again....! Dying Breed Brewery is what's up. We came here a couple of weeks back - and the evening couldn't have been more lovely. Dying Breed is spacious and I was pleased to see that the space pivots well according to the weather. We came on a beautiful breezy day so the open air was perfect. On a cooler evening - they have heat lamps. And on a hot evening (which is often in this area) - they do their best to keep people cool with misters etc. When we were here - the space was bustling. There must have been about 5 or 6 birthdays happening. Everyone - from the staff to the customers - were rocking a big smile. My favorite aspect of this awesome spot was how family-friendly the space is. From newborns, to toddlers, teenagers, and elderly - the place accommodated everyone beautifully. Young kids sporting darling tutus and cowboy boots danced in front of the stage - while their parents and grandparents looked on proudly. As far as food, during our visit, Dying Breed Brewing had an incredible Mexican food truck. Our group had the fish tacos and we were blown away by how flavorful they were. In fact - everything looked amazing from this truck and it was evident that they don't skimp when it comes to their fresh ingredients. From my understanding the food trucks rotate here throughout the month etc, and I've heard that they're all quality. I didn't partake in any drinks, but our group thoroughly enjoyed each of the beers that they tried throughout the evening and the staff were quick to serve us. A cool aspect of this space is that shipping containers are used throughout the brewery. They have an elevated stage constructed from shipping containers, and they also have open shipping containers lining the periphery of the venue - almost like cabanas. I'd never seen shipping containers used in such a fun and creative way. We literally danced the night away here to the live band. Dying Breed hosts some fantastic live music on the weekends - so be sure to stay tuned to their website. Went on a Sunday road trip east and ended up here. It was hard to find parking so we figured it must be good. Two big parties were happening at the same time, we were able to get seats at the bar after waiting in line to order. Highly recommend, coming from craft beer Central in the east bay I didn't have high hopes. We ended up buying some 6 packs to go because we loved the beers we tried. I hate hoppy IPAs, double or triple IPAs are even worse and this place did not build there brewery around butter hoppy beer. There were so many options for Pilsner or lagers or sours that you could spend an afternoon here and never have to worry about running out of options to try. What an adorable place! My friends and I decided to check this place out because we heard that it was a great place. The only reason why I am giving this 4 stars is because the parking was a little confusing for me. I apparently parked in the construction parking, so I was worried that the gate would close and I would get stuck. However, aside from parking this place is so cute! I love how the bar itself is "indoors" along side some seating, but then they have the outdoor are. This bar gives a "backyard" vibe. If you are looking for a relaxed night out, this is the place!
