I am not really into to IPA's or any beer that taste too hoppy. However, they have a bunch of different beers (some not hoppy) that are sure to cater to most people who enjoy craft beer. The beer always taste fresh and is served cold. The employees working the front are always nice and provide good service. As most people have said in their reviews, they do not serve food here, but they do have several food trucks that serve food just outside the doors. The food trucks they have pretty good food selections that taste great. If you find yourself in oakdale craving a craft beer, this is a great place to do that. read more

This place was a home run. It was my first time here. When we got there we asked if we could bring food in since they didn't have a kitchen. They were totally cool with it. We went with a flight. It was a cool display cause the holder is the shape of California. We really loved the beer selections. Everything was fantastic. I love the choices of stouts. My buddy and I were talking at our table about how much we liked the beer. The owners came over and introduced themselves to us and thanked us. This is such a fun spot! They have a good selection of beers in different styles so everyone can find something they'll like. They have indoor and outdoor seating, including bar seating and some longer communal tables. They're also dog friendly indoors and outside. We probably saw 5-10 different dogs while we were hanging around. They also have a selection of board games that you can play at your leisure- my friends and I found one we had never played before and had a blast sipping beer and playing together. They also have different food trucks that come out. When we visited it was East Meats West. The food paired great with our beers. The bartender was also really nice and gave us some suggestions from the tap list, since I'm terrible at deciding. Great Beer, Terrible Customer Service!! The beer at Last Call Brewery in Oakdale is honestly pretty good. They have a solid selection and a few standout options, so if you're just going for a drink, you'll likely find something you enjoy. That said, the customer service is seriously lacking--particularly from the man who always seems to be working behind the bar with long hair. We've been to this brewery at least four times now, and every single time, the experience with him has been consistently unpleasant. He seems to reserve all of his friendliness and attention for the regulars sitting at the bar. If you're not part of that circle, you're treated like an inconvenience. He barely greets you, doesn't say thank you, and acts visibly annoyed when you interrupt his conversations to simply order a beer. And don't bother paying with anything larger than a $20--he claims he doesn't have change, even though we watched him give change to regulars minutes later. The lack of basic courtesy and hospitality is shocking, especially in a small-town setting where you'd expect a more welcoming vibe. This brewery has potential. The location is great, and the beer is worth coming back for. But the atmosphere is ruined by the person they have running the bar. A friendly face and decent customer service go a long way, and unfortunately, that's the one thing this place consistently lacks. read more

Had a great rest stop here on our way from SF back to Fresno in September. Easy to find in a nice downtown area. It was a quiet Monday afternoon so we were happy to see they would be open at 2pm. Friendly greeting and great service, we had two beers there. Good sized seating area indoors and an outdoor patio too. They have cans to go and a great selection of merch. This is a cute little spot to sip some beer. There are open garage doors looking out bringing in lots of natural light and warmth. Some cute tables and chair to sit at in side and out. This spot is about the size of a hotel lobby maybe times two?? I was allowed to bring my pup so that was huge! Tried the blonde and some apricot beer. Enjoyed the blonde more. The beer was okay. Finally were able to hit this place with my nephew. They are located in the back of an industrial building. Place was pretty full on the day we went. Beer selection was very good (8 different beers) and the staff was very knowledgeable about beers. They have rotating food trucks for food and it is kid friendly. The covered bridge brown and stanco stout were solid, but not spectacular. I actually though their Cali blond was the best beer we tried, my nephew liked their 75 minute IPA. $6 pints a little more expensive than some other spots, but overall another place to visit in the area for sure. read more

Local owned brewery with the owners constantly interacting with the customers. As with most breweries this one started home based with the two owners finally getting together and moving forward. With that they started small and have put everything back into the brewery. Due to dept of health its hard for any brewry in CA to serve food. I used to really like this place. The old location was small but kind of cool. The staff was always nice and friendly there and the beers were great (still are). After they moved to the new downtown location some of the old staff would be there and it was still fun and friendly. My most recent visit was on a Sunday afternoon and we were really disappointed. The beer is still great but not one staff member was wearing a mask, and the bartender wasn't very friendly at all. They looked at us wearing masks like we were from Mars. Most of the customers came in mask-less also (maybe it's an Oakdale thing). At one point a staff member came to collect our empties with no mask on and literally was 2 feet from my face. I was here recently and tried a few of the libations offered at this here establishment, gotta say they know what they are doing when it comes to a good beer! I tried a few different ones. I started with the Cali Blonde because as they say blondes do have more fun (I like brunettes hint hint)! It was nice refreshing and tasted clean and refreshing, followed it up with Throwing Copper because sometimes you gots to get cozy with an Amber....ale that is! From there I was feeling good enough with my Amber...ale that I wanted to get hitched and tried To Hop and To Hold, a nice clean finish rice lager, it felt right so I had a second one, I finished the evening with the El Jefe because every one feels like the boss at the end of the night (if done correctly of course). Overall it was a good time, friendly barkeeps, they keep themselves entertained by dancing and laughing which is contagious so you'll have a good time guaranteed! Staff isn't as friendly, beers seem to have lost some flavor. Staff either spends more time chatting with each other that serving customers. Was in Oakdale during the pandemic so decided to support with To go purchase. Walked in to a woman busy playing on her phone and 3 other employees chatting with each other. When we asked the woman a question she was short. My husband almost walked out at that point. Thankfully the man behind the register noticed us and chimed in to help.
