A bottle of Gustavo Brandy, a limited edition, is positioned on a table alongside two empty branded glasses. The bottle is 750ml and features a black label with gold and brown accents, indicating it is distilled and oak-aged. The setting appears to be a winery or tasting room, with wooden decor and various wine-related items in the background.

Love coming to this winery... it feels private and the owner and the staff are amazing...

a wine tasting sign on a barrel - The image shows a round wooden sign with the text 'Lucca Wine Tasting' and a decorative green ribbon graphic, positioned on top of a wooden barrel. Next to the sign, there is a green glass bottle in a wicker holder, and a black and white sign with the quote 'What happens at the winery stays at the winery.' The setting appears to be outdoors, with some greenery and a paved area visible in the background.

FIVE STARS isn't enough! Moved to the Central Valley about a year ago from the Bay Area and wanted to find a winery close to home. We were tired of driving to Napa, Sonoma, Livermore, and Lodi. Once we found Lucca we were here for life. The employees were so friendly and nice. Every pour was brought with a smile, a story, and friendship. You really feel like a friend at Lucca. After the first visit, I became a member. We tried the tasting for white wines and the tasting for the red wines. They have three choices and the third was another tasting of red wines but a little stronger. The wine was great and we even came home with two bottles. Can't wait until November's Pizza Friday and the release party! Thank you, Lucca

We love coming here! We usually do the mids or darks. My favorite is the moulverde 2018 and peckerwood 2019. So good! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They always make us feel welcome! The atmosphere is very chill and laid back. They also have many options of salami, crackers and other snacks. They have a fridge area you can pick from. We can't wait to come back again and again!

Nice surprise. Came here didn't know what to expect. Wins were very good. Like several on the list particularly the VA and the old vine Zin. Erica was our server and she was phenomenal. A lot us to go off the list and create her own. Will definitely come back.

The family outing - Two people are seated at a round wooden table inside a winery, with wine barrels stacked on racks behind them. The man on the left has curly hair and is wearing a gray hoodie, while the woman on the right has dark, curly hair and is smiling. The table has menus, a glass of white wine, a ceramic pitcher, and a phone. Several other patrons are visible in the background, enjoying their time in the winery.

For my son's 21st birthday he wanted to go wine tasting and we found this gem on Yelp. After the tasting we ended up joining their club and now have a local place to get our wine!

Mind blowing experience! The wine suggestions and flavors were on point. Park in the vineyard (everyone else does. Why not experience it as if you dance amount the wines). Lucca concert series (Tribute to Johnny Cash) was nothing short of AMAZING. Lawn chair experience with a LEGEND that LIVES. If you haven't tried it. Rip on is NEVER to far from where you are. Try the Sorelle (it tasted amazing and smooth). Hope to see you at the next concert.

Quiet winery that has super awesome wine. The staff was friendly and accommodating. And there was Gus, a cute doggo that would come up to say hi once in a while. Can't wait to visit in the summer!

Stopped by for a Saturday evening concert and the place was packed. I don't drink a lot of wine, so stuck to beer throughout the evening. Staff offered me to try the house Grappa. Ooh so good. Winning!

Great time here! I enjoy wine tasting but this experience was very different. I learned so much more than I normally do about the history of wine and different blends and how they came about. Don was very kind and entertaining. The winery is beautiful and the tasting room was a fun atmosphere. Definitely worth the trip and I would love to return

Lucca Winery was a wonderful find while traveling through San Joaquin County. Their grounds are located in the small town of Ripon, and their grapes are harvested in the town of Oakley. Lately I've tasted many wines with grapes originating from Contra Costa County, and I've been very pleased with what I've tried. The warm Contra Costa climate allows for very robust vineyards, giving many winemakers in the area a pretty diverse lineup of varietals to create. Lucca offers a versatile variety of both red and white wine, and they'll practically let you taste the entire menu if you so desire (you probably wouldn't make it home if you actually tried to though). Their grounds are that of an open warehouse setup with wine barrels that line their tasting room. It's a very fun and lively environment with wine maker Mark Lucchesi who often makes appearances and allows customers to sample unreleased wines. Sommeliers Don and Dave were absolutely fantastic! The level of hospitality that you'll experience here is truly remarkable. A tasting is $10 but is waived with a purchase of a bottle. Their bottles are super reasonably priced! They also make their own wine corks and sell many other fun wine related trinkets. The quality of their wine is truly impressive. I tasted several of both their red and white wines, and many of them really piqued my interest. A few that I really enjoyed: their 2014 Carginane, 2015 Peckerwood Red Blend, Viognier, and their late harvest Mourvedre. I rarely ever see Carginane on its' own as it's normally used as a blending wine, but I have to admit that it was light and delicious. This Carignane also had a light ruby color which I found to be unusual but it was quite fruity and also well balanced. Their Peckerwood Red Blend was delightfully bold and juicy. This wine was actually not for sale at the moment, but they allowed me taste it and it was very delicious. My favorites were their Viognier and Late Harvest Mourvedre which I ended up purchasing and taking back home with me. Mark let a few of us sample an unfinished dessert wine that was still in the works. I loved being able to taste wines that weren't available to the public yet. It was such a fun experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and homey. Many locals stop by to chat with the wine maker too. Overall, it was a very fun experience and I plan to return the next time that I find myself in that part of town again.

Lucca wine for V day in Idaho! We love their wine! Our only wine club we have shipped to Idaho! - A wine bottle labeled 'Lucca 2018 Zinfandel Defremery Ranch' is positioned next to a glass containing red wine. The setting appears to be indoors, with a window revealing a blue evening sky and some trees outside. The table surface is wooden, and there are chairs and a plant partially visible in the background.

Stopped in at this winery that I've been noticing every day on my commute out of Escalon and a little upset I didn't stop sooner. We were immediately greeted by one of the stewards the second we walked up to the door. He greeted us with warmth and great enthusiasm. When we entered we couldn't help but notice the beautiful architecture of the buildings and the rustic decor. It gave off a great amount of warmth mixed with some extra coziness. We decided to sit inside although the fire pits outside beckoned my name for future visits. They had a great selection of wines and the stewards were all very welcoming and knowledgeable. Lisa was amazing and so very attentive to us the entire time. We loved that you could also visit the onsite market to grab items to munch on. You can personalize your own charcuterie board to enjoy with your wine. We loved our visit here so much that we decided to become members and will definitely be making many more visits ahead! We were late to our reservation, however, one of the owners was so nice to accommodate. This was the most perfect day to be there for a first time or 5th time. weather was perfect. Outside pizza vendor was 1.5 hours out on orders. so we stopped in the little store and found excellent crackers and cheese to hold us off. I heard the Genoa bread was amazing from a Modesto bakery. But, sold out:( you pay for everything and the. Bring to your server and they put it all on a charcuterie board and bring to your table. I really enjoyed their Chardonnay on this rather hot day. People were dancing, drinking, eating and socializing. It was great! the wildflowers on the grounds are so beautiful! They have games to play. And dogs are welcome! Check out all my photos. I'm giving this 4 stars only because I think it's ridiculous to not be prepared and offer pizza as your only vendor and wait 1.5 hours knowing you are completely booked for the day. and, the pizza was really thin, hardly any cheese we could see or taste. Basil was less than appetizing to look at, but we were starving. So we ate every paste bite. I think it would have been nice to offer fresh Apples, pears or grapes in the store for the charcuterie boards. You have to try their soft Jalapeno cheese in the cold case!!! It was delish w/the crackers from Rustic oven. I loved the store... the 2 guys who do the treasures with grapevines are incredible. I can't wait to take a class. Parking is awesome if you can get under the covered area. Bathrooms are clean. This definitely is a must to visit. highly recommend:)
