Xiaoyu continues to be my go-to for anything electrical or AC related. He installed a new special circuit for a new appliance and just solved an issue with a blown circuit breaker for one of my AC units. He is still knowledgable, responsive and a pleasure to work with. He has an apprentice now and is showing him how to perform efficiently with a high degree of integrity. I am happy to see his success. read more

Just adding another excellent review! It's a near 100 degree day in August and I noticed my AC had stopped functioning around lunchtime. I was feeling nervous about finding someone ASAP who would be reliable and wouldn't give me the runaround on price or pushing additional services. And I was already making plans to stay the night at a friend's house for fear I couldn't get anyone to come out on such short notice. Xiaoyu responded to my voicemail in less than five minutes, he was able to come out within a few hours, and fixed my AC within 30 minutes, all by dinner time! On top of all that, his price was reasonable and he was a genuinely kind and friendly guy. I will definitely keep his number handy for next time! :) read more

I have used this business several times. Wang is extremely knowledgeable about HVAC. He is also very fair and will not try to upsell you. That is why I have confidently referred him to several friends and neighbors, who also had great experiences. He installed a mini-split in my garage workshop about four years ago. It greatly improved the environment in the shop. I can work out there year round, no matter what the crazy Texas weather is doing. The blower motor was not acting right recently, so I called him out. He checked it out and the motor was bad. The motor itself was covered under warranty, so no charge for that. I had to pay for the labor. I keep the unit running most of the time. Over time, things need to be cleaned. The fan blade had become quite dirty over time. Wang and his assistant fully cleaned the whole unit, and replaced the motor. It is now fully clean and running like new. Cooling my whole shop very quickly. I can fully recommend Wang and Breeze Cooling and Heating for any HVAC needs you have. He is knowledgeable, quick to arrive, and always fair with pricing. He also does electrical work. I will continue to call him for my HVAC needs and will continue to refer him to other people. Thank you Wang! read more

A great small business. Quick, clear, fair, and reasonable price. My ~15 year old home AC unit no longer blew cold air. Found Breeze Cooling and Heating ("breezeamerica.com") on yelp and messaged them. Wang got back to me immediately, and he and a helper were at my house the next morning. They diagnosed the problem as not a popped line or anything else needing a whole new unit, just normal cumulative freon loss from fifteen years of heavy AC use in an Austin home built in 1952 with no insulation in the walls. So they did a full refrigerant recharge with pressure test. It's been a week now and I can really tell the difference. My house cools a lot faster than it ever did before. Entire service took 3hrs and cost $570 total. It's great to find an independent specialist who's just focused on explaining and fixing problems, not taking advantage of rubes like me. FIVE stars! read more

Wong was fantastic. He replied to my service request immediately and came out to repair our unit the next day. He was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. He took care of everything we needed and replaced the necessary parts same day, and got our unit working within a few hours. Highly recommend Breeze Cooling and Heating and will definitely utilize them again in the future. read more

Breeze Cooling exceeded my expectations! My AC stopped blowing cold air, so I called at 8:00 AM, and they were able to fit me in the very same day. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem, explained everything clearly, and had my AC blowing ice-cold again in no time. They were professional, honest, and reasonably priced. It's hard to find a company that combines great customer service with fair pricing, but Breeze Cooling does exactly that. I highly recommend them to anyone needing fast, reliable AC service! read more

I have used Breeze twice, and they have been great! They came to do cleanings, and then came same day when my AC was not working. They are responsive, great communicators, and explain the issues is a way that is easy to understand. They fixed my issue quickly, and the AC has been working well ever since! Their pricing is ethical and affordable. I very highly recommend Breeze! read more

Best AC guy out there. On time, very competitive pricing. Mr. Wang is very professional and knowledgeable. Have been using his services for a couple of years already and couldn't be happier. read more

I highly recommend Wang and Breeze Cooling and Heating. I've heard a lot of horror stories with other HVAC companies trying to nickel and dime you and upcharge you insane amounts. We had our compressor die in our 14 year old unit and I paid extra to have Wang come out to Bastrop after speaking with him on the phone and I am so glad I did. We weighed our options and ended up replacing the whole unit instead of compressor due to the cost of replacing older equipment and Wang and his apprentice did a phenomenal job! I'd recommend him to anyone needing HVAC repairs and I'll be calling him again when my other 14 year old unit decides it's had enough. Fingers crossed we have some time though! Price was right, communication was great and things went smoothly and it's great to support our locally owned and operated businesses. read more

Our AC broke at night and Wang and Anthony came out the next day to fix it. They arrived early, which was much appreciated in the summer heat! They were flexible dealing with the complicated building setup we have, and figured out the issue (capacitor burnout) right away. Once the issue was found, they were fast and efficient both replacing and testing it. Wang didn't nickel and dime us either - the pricing was very clear and reasonable. The customer service was excellent, and they are also very likeable as well! And our AC is nice and cool again. Would highly recommend. read more

I first reached out to Xiaoyu about 2 years ago when I was planning to convert my garage into a livable space and needed a mini-split installed. We communicated over email, and he gave me a very reasonable quote. I was already in the early stages of planning -- things like garage flooring, clearing things out, maybe renting a pod -- so I knew it wouldn't be a quick project. Due to some unexpected delays, I had to pause everything for a couple of years. When I finally picked things back up, I emailed Xiaoyu again, and he was quick to respond. He remembered our previous conversation and was able to continue where we left off without any issues. After sending him some updated photos and explaining the current setup, he suggested going with an 18,000 BTU unit instead of the 12,000 BTU we originally talked about. He explained why it made more sense given the size and layout of the garage, and I appreciated his honesty. At no point did I feel like he was trying to upsell me -- just straightforward advice based on what the space needed. He got me scheduled that same week, showed up on time, and was super friendly and professional in person. The install took a few hours and went smoothly. Throughout the process, he took the time to explain what he was doing and offered helpful tips on maintaining the system from his own experience. One thing I really appreciated was that everything felt fair -- no price gouging, no surprises, and no pressure. Just honest, solid work at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be going back to Xiaoyu for any future AC work -- and probably electrical too, since he mentioned having experience there as well. Highly recommend him! read more

Extremely impressed with the service! He was able to come out quickly, which we really appreciated. From the start, communication was great. He shared his number to text, gave us a clear upfront quote, and was completely transparent about his rates. He showed up exactly when he said he would, took the time to explain what was going on with our system, and got the issue resolved efficiently. We'll absolutely be calling him again for any future needs. highly recommend! read more

Great experience, Wang was excellent. Did his best to get out to my house as soon as he could. Then fixed the issue within 15minutes. Very knowledgeable, explained issue to me very well, and has affordable prices. Will be calling him with any future issues. Thanks! read more

Quick response, great communication, great follow up post appointment. Highly recommend!

Always the absolute best service. I never have to worry about my issue not being fixed or being upsold. I cannot recommend Breeze cooling and heating anymore, it's not possible. Feels rare to come across genuine and down to earth people who take pride in their work these days. You won't be missing that with Breeze! read more

Great experience all around. Responded to a late evening appt request with next day service. Will use this service again, most definitely.

I was very pleased with breeze, cooling and heating. Wong is an ethical business owner who is very patient and explains the air-conditioning problems and solutions. This is absolutely necessary in Austin. He looks to make solutions that are reasonable and affordable for homeowners... he was able to detect that the air-conditioning installation for my home was done poorly and rectified the problem. Nobody else, including these larger corporation could do this. They just stated that it is running and left it. If this continued, there's a high likelihood I could've had mold in the house. I am very grateful to Wong and he seems very genuinely kind. He came in a very timely fashion and is very responsive. Highly recommend!! read more

Provided cell number for communication right from the first few messages on Yelp. Punctual/ dropped by within a confirmed 30 min window on the date of the appointment & let me know when he was on his way (as I requested that he do). Very transparent about all costs. Let me know about diagnostic fee, service fee and additional fee for driving/ location of my house from his starting point. After diagnostic, went through all other costs (parts, labor, etc). I had purchased universal parts myself in advance of the visit, but opted for his manufacturer OEM parts as he can honor the warranty up to 6 months and he charged almost 50% less for his parts. Total was just around what we figured it would be. Gave recommendations of other things he noticed, but stressed they weren't required. In and out in about 30-45 min. Honest and straightforward. Didn't waste time bs'ing about anything. Would definitely hire again! Highly recommend this company!! read more

Honest, exceptional knowledgable and patient. I am happy with the service and would definitely use it again when needed.

"Wang" was so nice and friendly to us, respectful of our animals and space. Was honest about the condition and work that needed to be done. I love that he was honest compared to another AC contractor who was exaggerating the extent of our problems. So glad we got him to do a second look on everything. He charges a fair price and did not gauge us on price. He's our AC guy from now on and I'm happy to trust our new home to him. read more

It was July in Austin. 100 degrees outside. Our AC is not cooling. Created a project on Yelp. It was probably one minute when Breeze sent us a message and offered to help us on the same day. Others took a long time to respond, or were available a few days later. Breeze showed up on time, gave us a good explanation of the problem, fixed our AC, and charged us a fair price. I will have their number handy in case we ever need them again. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Breeze Cooling. Here is a sampling: 1. Provided same day affordable service when our central air went out 2. Wang, the owner is very friendly and is an expert in HVAC. We had our HVAC upgraded and replaced by Wang and the work was a bit complicated. His pricing was fair and his worksmanship was top notch. He has great communication skills, respectful, and will almost always answer the texts/messages immediately. He did not try to sell anything extra and answered all my questions patiently and did a fantastic job with the install. He even followed up and asked me to text if I have any questions in the future. Highly recommend him. read more

I have heat again! He was very prompt and courteous. and easy to work with. I asked him about an issue. My last HVAC company brought up. They had told me it would be very expensive, but he said it shouldn't be that much,so guess who I'll be calling. lol read more

Xiaoyu has done two big projects for us and they both have been fantastic. He is now our family go-to person for HVAC & Electrical. He is very communicative, professional, punctual, and efficient. He is also very honest and will tell you if you really need to spend as much as you think, even if he potentially makes less, which is very rare. I'm writing this even though he generally is too humble to ask but I also don't want him to become so busy he can't help us again so don't bombard him all at once! read more

Fast response, good communication. Fit me in for a quote quickly. Thank you very much!

We were planing to install a mini split for a while. Xiaoyu was able to provide and honor his quote from a few photos we shared with him. He was the most reasonable one among the companies we contacted. He was also able to come by in 2 days and the installation was quick and flawless. From now on he is our go-to AC guy read more

Honestly the best service I've ever! I called at 8pm and he was able to come out the next morning. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to get me back up without pushing for an entire system replacement like most other companies do. The repair was fast and really affordable. He's clearly more interested in keeping repeat loyal customers and I'm one now. I've told all my friends about him! read more

Our AC broke in the middle of a 100+ degree summer day and we couldn't find anyone to come out to look at it for us. Xiaoyu was super prompt and stopped by within an hour of calling him, he almost instantly identified the problem and fixed it as well. He's such a lifesaver! read more

Air conditioners know to break down either in the middle of the night or on a Saturday morning. Mine chose the latter one weekend. Unfortunately, this was a new unit, and the company that installed it was closed on the weekend. After scouring Yelp for reasonable repair choices, I elected to give Breeze A/C a try. I was impressed by Xiaoyu's response from the start. He answered my call and gave me an accurate time-frame as to when he would arrive to repair the unit that day. He fixed the problem in short order (dead capacitor), and charged a reasonable price for the parts and services - even on a Saturday! No one looks forward to A/C repairs, especially during our lethally-hot summers in Austin. That said, if I have a problem with mine in the future, Breeze A/C will be one of the first businesses that I call. read more

I had a great experience working with Breeze Cooling & Heating (BCH)! I had them come out for a second opinion on my failing AC system. The former cooling company said my 17 year old AC system was completely failing and needed to be replaced ASAP. BCH told me that the system was okay and just needed some coolant. They let me watch as they gradually 3lb of coolant to add exactly the amount we needed and no more -- which is kind because coolant is really expensive. Other benefits of BCH: the person I worked with (Wang) was super friendly and the costs were very reasonable. Highly recommended! read more

NOTE: This is a review for pre-sales service only. I didn't hire Breeze to do any work. Xiaoyu responded quickly to my request for a quote through Yelp. He was willing to come out the next day to give me an estimate. I asked him a bunch of questions through Yelp and he was happy to answer them all quickly. I ended up not doing this work so didn't hire him but he was helpful and friendly throughout the process. I'll definitely have him on the list for service in the future. read more

What an amazing experience! We were looking for someone to replace 2 light fixtures and a chandelier. We also had problems with the electrical wiring so we need that to be fixed as well. Xiaoyu responded in minutes, came out to check everything out and had everything scheduled to be fixed the same week. Service was amazing and he was super helpful to me. The pricing is great. Best experience I've had with an electrician! 10/10 recommend and will be reaching out in the future! Thank you! read more

Great service!! Four companies told me I had no repair options. They said I needed a complete replacement of my hvac unit. Xiaoyu was very surprised I wasn't given any options and he was able to replace some parts and he fixed my ac!! This was 1/3 the price of a new unit. There were some issues getting the parts but this was out of his control. While waiting for the parts to come in, he brought me a portable ac unit which was awesome! Very nice young man that I highly recommend and I will do business with him again. Thank you Xiaoyu! You are the best! -Just this morning I was thinking I missed seeing you my friend! Haha! I can't say enough great things about Xiaoyu and Breeze. He's friendly, organized, very skilled at his craft, and does what he says he will do. I had a very unique problem that threw other HVAC folks for a loop. Xiaoyu is an incredible problem solver and found a creative solution. My problem was I inherited a house with a weird and large commercial combination unit. It had a very badly custom created connection into the house that included wood and rotted and allowed rodents in. Terrible situation. It left a very tight space to make any fixes, but Breeze was able to tear down the old connection and rebuild a brand new one as a fully metal shroud, perfectly adhered to the unit, a custom built fiberglass plenum, and seal everything top to bottom! This took a lot of work, creativity to solve the problem, and craft to do metal fabrication and custom build everything to size. The unit is rodent free now and everything is blowing amazingly strong and cold for summer. Hire breeze for anything you need! read more
