Sunrise Skillet Breakfast with over easy eggs

We ate here on at Saturday morning around 10:30. There was a short wait and the line of customers was steady our entire visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a small restaurant having maybe 25 tables or so.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food came very quickly and was piping hot. The sunrise skillet was delicious, the potatoes were amazing with the spinach and bacon! The train wreck was delicious as well with potatoes. The portions are hefty. The iced tea was fresh and perfect! The price is good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant clean and our service was friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything was great.

Stopped by the Breakfast Station during a weekend trip to Weeki Wachee. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the food didn't quite hit the spot. My breakfast burrito was average, and my fiancé's Eggs Benedict wasn't prepared well. It was fine for a quick meal, but we likely wouldn't make a special trip back.

Food is really good and it's priced affordably. The restaurant is clean and bright, the staff friendly and professional. I loved that management helped bust tables too! For $10 I had cheese grits, 2 scrambled eggs, 3 silver dollar pancakes and a whole kielbasa sausage with coffee! There were lots of substitutes too, all included for the same price. Usually here the food is always good and the service left much to be desired. Today? It was the opposite. The grits were tasteless and watery with an unidentifiable consistency or texture and the dollar pancakes were so tough that I couldn't cut them-even with a knife! I ordered my eggs over medium-which came over hard and when sent back to the kitchen? I got over easy. At that point I just gave up. Very very disappointing trip. read more

Someone tends to greet you at the door and hold it open for you. They can get busy at times especially on the weekends. When customers that have finished eating they are quick to clean the table and get the next customer (s) seated. I've had breakfast and lunch and whatever I've ordered has been quite delicious. But if you love cream cheese and french toast I would suggest stuffed French toast stuffed with cream cheese. I do like their iced coffees. I suggest just try different things. The owner Wow he's a worker and a half he makes sure everyone gets taken care of If you go in there enough he remembers you. I don't want to forget the servers and the bus people. So I ordered an omelette with ham, peppers and onions. they sent me an omelette with ham in it and the PEPPERS ON TOP. Not joking at all. There were just diced peppers on top of the omelette. I literally pushed them to the side. No onions to be seen. I will never buy anything from this place again. If your crew doesn't know that the onions, peppers and ham ALL GO INTO THE OMELETTE, you are worthless. The eggs were also NOT COOKED! NEVER AGAIN. My first visit to this establishment and was NOT impressed!! First you can see the exterior of the building (located in a strip mall) had about 20-30 people outside sitting in front of various other businesses. The manager Devon took my name and part of 2 he gave an estimate of 25 mins. Fast forward an hour later still not sat...upon inquiring how long (since we're fo far beyond the initial estimate) we're sat...we order and food takes forever and then my food a simple egg whites sausage and bacon was cold cold cold while my fiancés steak skillet was smoking and sizzling. I told the manager who looked like he had zero f's to give so i decided to tell him i was not about to wait an other hour for hot food and i would eat the cold food!! waitress who FINALLY decided to work her tables come over to ask how everything is but i told her too how everything is cold...he said my boss is in the kitchen to which i said "wow that's even worse". The owner Steven obviously has no food standards whatsoever because the food i got remade contained the same cold breakfast meats because they're not cooked to order and pancakes burned to the point i needed a knife to cut through (just sad) that in todays day and age we have to deal with such terrible standards. read more

Our 2nd time here. The first time was so good that we had to try it a 2nd time. Such a disappointment. We had asked for our hash browns well done. Normally that means cooked to a golden brown on each side. These came back almost burnt and so hard you couldn't eat them. So when I asked to recook them it was even worse. If I could put a picture on this review I would have. I guess I can. Corned beef hash was cooked on one side and they flipped it in half so it looked like it was cooked on both sides. That came back a 2nd time overly well done. Now as a server she should not have delivered it and requested that it be done right. Instead she was making excuses for the 2 cooks. Both kids. I was pissed upon leaving but my mom gave a tip and obviously didn't eat her hash browns. Here's a picture. Was in town on a trip and like any trip to the south my wife insisted we had to get Biscuits and Gravy. We hit this place up right before we got on a plane practically. Everything you'd want out of a breakfast diner. Large portions, quick service, interesting specials, hot coffee, cheap prices. Would certainly stop back next time I'm visiting. read more

Food is ALWAYS amazing, the servers are so friendly too. Jesse is a friendly guy who greets and welcomes upon your arrival. Sometimes Steve the manager will greet you as well. Let's not forget the great team in the kitchen getting the orders out as quickly as possible. Great spot. Just moved here from California and the husband and I were out looking for a great breakfast spot. This place did not disappoint. We were a bit worried when we saw the line of people but they sat us easily within 10 minutes. They have their service down to a T!!!! This place is a well oiled machine. It's been around a while which is usually a good thing and the same stands here. We went before 9:00 on a Sunday which is an important thing to remember because we got sat immediately and it was already busy and by the time we left there was standing room only for seats The food was great. My husband ordered a mix of corned beef with eggs and mini pancakes and was really happy with it. I ordered the stuffed French toast with strawberries. It was really good but sweet of course. I figured it was high time to update my feelings about Cody's. Yesterday I stopped in for an early dinner. Around 3.:30 or so. I was in the mood for something simple. Something simply STEAK-y! I quickly settled on the EARLY BIRD Top Sirloin Steak. An easy choice, and it turned out to be the RIGHT CHOICE. A very Delicious RIGHT CHOICE... Of course, I politely munched on some peanuts as I waited for my mandatory BIG BOWL O' ENDLESS SALAD! I made sure NOT to throw any peanut shells on the floor. I will say I kinda miss that 'Back in the day' CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH sound of walking on peanut shells. BUT, I totally get it! Saves a LOT of backaching work for the Cody's Crew NOT having to scoop up tons of spent shells off the floors, seats and everywhere. Speaking of Cody's Crew! My server was the wonderful Joni R! The one with the dazzling smile and the perfect serve! AND the excellent upside-down handwriting. She took excellent care of me. Always right there, the moment BEFORE I was about to ask for something. She delivered a mighty fine bowl of that savory salad. She kept my tea filled, my needs met and my spirits high. I enjoyed EVERY SINGLE BITE of my entire meal. It was one of those times where you knew you ordered EXACTLY what you wanted but didn't know just how much you wanted it until you ordered it and then ate it!!! WHEW! (I did all that on purpose!) Cody's AND Joni were a HUGE HIT! I enjoy the atmosphere very much. Like being in an old Western saloon, that serves excellent food. All the while watching the golfing crowd, the fishermen/women and the Seniors (like me) amble in. A LOT of those fine folks are hot on the trail of the EARLY BIRD MENU. That's a very fair deal for some truly fine grub. (NO PICS today. I was too busy people watching, yakking and eating)

Anyway, I had the traditional gyro and it was delicious even the pepper that it came with was edible. It wasn't super hot. Have I mentioned I don't like really hot peppers but this one was good. The Gyro was fantastic. I topped it off with a Coca-Cola. I will be back, this place is great, and I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love the Brooksville location. This Spring Hill store is a disgrace. I would recommend cleaning house, as I will never dine at this location again. I asked for a small orange juice, received a large and was charged for it. I asked for 2 waters as well, only received one. Waitresses were complaining saying things like "It'd be nice to get out at 3 for once". One of the grill cooks yelled to a server " What the fuck do you want?" And the gentleman seated in the booth behind me asked for double fries and one of the ladies at the counter yelled loudly "if he got the cole slaw he doesn't get double fries." The man stated he was a patron for many years and that this place has gone down hill. I couldn't agree more. I've eaten here since I was 10 and I'm 25 now. Such unprofessional atmosphere. Again I will NOT be returning to this location EVER. Brooksville location is wonderful. read more

Nestled in an adorable little shopping village, every curated corner looks like a southern blogger's Instagram dream. Breakfast station is located inside an older home/building, serves cafe au lait on tap, has a couple of gluten-free options, and my boyfriend says the begneits are amazing. You stand in line and order at the cashier before sitting down. It's also right off the highway -- I'm glad I stumbled across this place on our road trip. read more

Great food, fast and friendly service, reasonable prices and specials- -everything about this place is fantastic! The huge pile of home fried red potatoes that came with my omelet where the best I've ever had (besides my own)! Love this place for delicious breakfasts and low prices. read more

The food, service and ambiance are great at the Breakfast station on Northcliffe. They recognize us when we go in and remember what we drink. It's great food and big portions! The staff are all great! Highly recommend going except not on weekend mornings (so I dont have to wait. lol) read more
