Well, forget about ordering a meal at Wendy's. My wife and I just went there for a quick meal. First we tried the counter where orders are taken (we thought). Although there were 8-10 people working there (mostly High-School age), nobody came to help us. So maybe we needed to use one of the two kiosks. Nope, neither one worked. Press the screen and nothing happens. So back to the counter. While a couple of the employees looked at us, nobody came to take our order. Managers attitude was extremely rude and unpleasant after he told me i was no longer able to sub for fried chicken in my salad and the grilled chicken i received was RAW the lettuce was ROTTEN and i got the new cobb salad and it only had BACON AND CHICKEN...EVERYTHING ELSE WAS MISSING. Very disappointing especially, the poor attitude of management and the food I PAID MY OWN MONEY FOR to be completely wrong and not even get what I paid for. I do not pay for the attitude, i pay for my food and it should be correct before it goes out that window, especially to be handed off from the manager. DO BETTER WENDYS. SMH........ The night crew at this place really does it right. My only complaint is with the national chain calling the smaller version of the Baconator the "Son of Baconator". Definitely one of the best Wendy's meals I've had. The fries were very fresh and had the perfect amount of salt and flavor to them. My burger was pretty good but just needed some sauce. Thankfully they were nice enough to give me plenty of sauce packs! Something I feel that is very rare for Wendy's. Usually I'm expected to use one sauce pack for my entire meal but this Wendy's gave me plenty and it was a great change. The best about Wendy's is that they are somewhat fast. There are also salads that are real salads to choose from, with chicken or Mediterranean. I gave it a try on the advice of the recent five-star reviews. My experience today was disappointing, however. The server at the drive-thru speaker didn't know the menu, such as what the drinks consist of (did the new limeade have sugar, etc. Even the drink that is an old standby of mine when I've went in years past, the green tea, is billed as "natural," yet I am informed today that there is sweetener. That could be anything, and important, especially to a dieter, a diabetic or someone who can't use additives. Rather deceptive of Wendy's industry/menu, not this particular Wendy's as a whole, as most people aren't going to fast food for their health and I suspect that they don't get asked this question or perhaps she was new. I got a single with cheese for my husband. Too expensive for what he received. My salad, a new one with avocado, they got partially right and I didn't know until I was driving into the next town and almost home. So I paid for toppings I didn't get. The item I want got left off but so did a lot of the other salad items. No nuts, no crackers, noodles, nothing on the side for an expensive salad, but romaine, chicken which tasted okay, and a bit of cheese. I'll have to look up and make sure romaine isn't still on recall. The reason for two stars, which I rarely give anyone low rating unless it's obviously outrageous service? I think there needs to be staff-wide drug tests at this location- while I don't think a customer should have to worry about, every staff member smells of marijuana and even the bags of food carry the stench. My children don't even know what it smells like but they wonder why the food smells so putrid compared to how the food tastes (which is subpar, at best.) A very dissatisfying visit today. The first incident was in the restroom. The toilet has a mind of its own! Flushed 3 times while I was in the stall; 1st was upon entry, 2nd while I was STILL sitting, and 3rd was while I was leaving. And these are no ordinary auto flushes. You'd think you'd be sucked in if you got too close!! The faucet had it's own agenda as well. As I'm washing my hands the faucet veers to the left. Moving forward, my husband and I order our lunch. The cashier was friendly and helpful. A+ for her. We hasn't even gotten our card back yet when the manager was yelling out that the order was ready. We get up there, and it's not. Missing a couple items. Go to the pretty neat choose your own soda thing... Out of Sprite. Ugh, next selection. Sit down and find out Hubby's order is wrong! Brings it back up to the "eager to move the line" manager for the correct sandwich. My sandwich was correct, but... Three chicken was huge, which is fine, but there was only a small leaf of lettuce (about a 1/4 the size of the chicken and 1/2 the size of the roll) and a 1/2 of a slice of tomato. As we ate, hubby nearly done, we are batting away flies. I even overheard the elderly couple behind me comment about how they should have brought fly swatters. Meanwhile, hubby bites down on something hard in his sandwich... It was a thin piece of plastic, about an inch long. It was kind of like the plastic piece that hangs tags on clothing, but a little thicker. At that point we had had it!
