The French Toast was another interesting combination. The strawberry jam with syrup made this the perfect sweet treat. Lastly, my husband left no crumbs with his Patty Melt. He ate it just as quickly as it came! While I wish the interior design had been given more thought--such as displaying pictures, murals, and nicely arranged flowers on the tables to enhance the experience--the food more than made up for what the interior lacked. We stopped by this location of Pamela's and instantly, I felt like I was transported into a retro 50s/60s diner. The multi-colored walls are decorated heavily with old-school board games. There's a veil of grease in the air that screamed the classic diner experience. SAUSAGE & CHEESE OMELETTE + Lyonnaise potatoes (side) + whole wheat bread (toast) The sausage & cheese (we asked for Swiss instead of American) omelette itself wasn't anything worth raving about as it was pretty typical. However, the Lyonnaise potatoes were phenomenal. It's that in between "hash and mash" texture, and it was seasoned incredibly well. BLUEBERRY HOTCAKES Soft, crepe-like wrap (a bit thicker than crepe but thiner than pancake) wrapped around blueberries and whipped cream. This was not too sweet and quire savory. They're known for their hotcakes at Pamela's and I can see why. I don't remember the individual pricing for each, but both were under $25 total. Definitely great tasting food for a phenomenal price. I usually refrain from giving out five-star reviews because nothing ever feels truly perfect--but this place comes incredibly close! The food was served quickly, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a warm smile, adding to the cozy, small-diner feel that made the experience even more inviting. A nice touch was the complimentary mimosas, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. They do prefer cash to help avoid card fees, so keep that in mind when visiting. However, if you do pay with a card, there's just a small 4% fee. Overall, the food was excellent for the price, and I highly recommend stopping by. This spot is definitely worth a visit! read more
