A quick overnight to Annapolis left us in search of a good breakfast option. After seeing the great reviews for this place we were not disappointed. We ordered ahead online and our food was waiting for us. I had the breakfast burrito which was killer. And my wife had an everything bagel sandwich that she proclaimed was the best she ever had. Was kinda a pain to get to but worth it! Everything tasted great! We got the southern chicken biscuit and it does not say on their online menu (not sure about the menu inside) about the honey Sriracha on the biscuit. I loved the flavor it added but my husband can't handle heat and had to have it remade without it. Yummy vegan options! I've had a great experience here with breakfast but first time with lunch. LOVED the vegan cheesesteak. I usually don't care for vegan cheese but this was perfect. From the minute I walked into the restaurant, I was blown away by the aroma coming from the kitchen. I ordered the bahn mi burger and it was good considering it was a turkey patty but I wanted to try it. The flavors were decent, but I was really impressed with the admiral, which is a grilled cod sandwich. The bread was toasted perfectly and the cod was so tender. I love how they have their outdoor seating set up as well! read more

There was some confusion with one of our orders (got a regular gyro instead of a vegetarian gyro) and they made my daughter a new one very quickly and with no problem. So disappointing...We came here for breakfast on the recommendation of friends. It is just okay and $$$. Pros: friendly staff, water side seating. Cons: I had the hippie hash and for almost $14 I expected something more substantial. It had decent flavor, but not much to it, including some cut up deli ham. For that price, I would think country ham or ham steak cut up. It also came with two of the tiniest (sourdough) pieces of toast. One of them was actually the heel of the loaf. My husband biscuit sandwich was tasty, minus the fact that the biscuits was dry and hard, like crunchy hard, like hard to bite into hard. The coffee was mediocre. Also, when you go to pay, it asks if you want to tip 22%, 20%, or 15%, which seems awfully presumptuous considering there is no table service and you get your own drinks and have to bus your own table. They do bring your order out, but that is it. Not returning, I recommend you do the same. read more

A very small breakfast and brunch spot tucked into some office space right at the marina. I wanted to try it based on the Yelp reviews, and I found the background story of how the owner started the business compelling. We each had a breakfast burrito, mine egg & chorizo / hers egg & bacon, and we both found it to be delicious. We enjoyed watching the staff work in the open kitchen and the marina workers service watercraft while we enjoyed our meal. The menu isn't expansive, but there is certainly enough variety to suit most any taste for breakfast or brunch. I was glad we gave the place a try before hitting the road home that day. read more

Yummy cafe hidden on second street in Eastport with a nice focus on local and good sized menu. The owner was super friendly and our food was delicious. Had the veggie burger with homemade chips and turkey bah mi bowl. About a dozen seats inside most with a nice harbor view and some outside as well. It was Mother's Day and my wife got a friendly greeting and a lovely rose! This place is very cozy, has a great view, and the food was fresh and delicious. BBK is a hidden gem in Annapolis/Eastport. Fantastic water views of the U.S. Naval Academy in an awesome laid back atmosphere. If you are lucky, you come when a live band is playing. You are greeted by smiling faces when you enter the small cafe. The food is out of this world for both breakfast and lunch. The home made salsa on the salsa de huevos is the best I've had. You have to try a home made scone as well. You won't be disappointed when to try Bread and Butter Kitchen! read more
