I'd heard so much about this place, i had to try it. My mouth was watering for delicious, fried chicken wings so I ordered the 5 "Wings" for $8. I thought the price was a little high, but given the location and in comparison to the cost of the other restaurants in R. House, it wasn't too bad. To my great disappointment, the "wings" were scrawny, little wingettes. I thought it was a joke, but alas, it was not. The wingettes were well-prepared, and the accompanying sauce was surprisingly tasty (Alabama White), but i couldn't get over the bits of chicken that didn't fill me up. Now, I'm hearing the sandwiches are really the winning orders. (My fellow diners' sandwiches indeed looked good and filling). The wait is over, as I finally made it to BRD! It was a long time coming, but i finally got that Chicken, Lol. We orderd the BMORE BRD ( $9.00) which comes with pickles and BRD sauce, and we also got Fries ($4.00). It kind of sucks that everything is sold seperate instead of as combos, but whatever.To me, the BMORE BRD was just ok, which also sucks because ive been waiting forever to try it. I thought there wasnt much flavor on the chicken and that it was a little bland. The BRD sauce was ehh, nothing too special. The chicken however, was tender and moist. The frence fries were shoe string fries, and they were fried a little to hard for my liking. There was a seasoning that was sprinkle on top. I would have prefered the seasoning to be all throughout the fries instead of just on top. I really want to give this place a good review, so i will definitely have a second trip and revise this based on that visit. But in the meantime, i gotta give ya 3 stars. I know, i'm sorry. After seeing all of the pictures of the food from BRD, I had to try it! I must say the food is just as beautiful in person as in the pictures. The fries were delicious and the sauce and pickles on the Bmore BRD complimented the chicken wonderfully. I ended up taking one piece of chicken off of the sandwich because it was too much for me to eat (that sandwich is BIG) in addition to all the fries I got. The breeding on the chicken was a bit spicy and a little greasy but overall yummy! Eh. Average chicken sandwich made with thighs instead of breasts. Room temperature fries definitely not made to order and inedible due to the lb of old bay on them. Sandwich is just eh. One of the male line cooks has long hair and should probably wear a hair net or something, but other than that I have 0 complaints. Fried chicken, by its very nature, is one of the greatest foods on earth, and BRD adds just enough to their signature sandwiches to make them interesting twists on the classic while not overwhelming the real star of the show: the chicken. I think I've mainly eaten the Bmore Bird and the Hanoi Hen, both of which are tangy, fresh, crispy and delicious. If you frequent R House, this is probably the place you try (unsuccessfully) to avoid every time you step through the door because it's so tempting but also soooo unhealthy. read more

Brd is the bomb! I've never been inside of R House (bc of the parking). However, I've ordered from here several times through Uber Eats. With Uber Eats, all of the sandwiches come as a combo that includes carrot slaw or corn salad. I've tried several sandwiches but my favorite combo is the Hanoi Hen and corn salad. The Hanoi has this spicy yet sweet sauce that accompanies the pickled veggiee. The corn salad is pretty good and well seasoned. I use it to cool my mouth after tasting the spicy sauce. The portions are so big that I can never finish in one setting. I never get a chance to take a pic bc I'm too busy eating. LoL read more

Food looked good on yelp so I came by to check it out. Shame the service was so bad. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and was the only person waiting for food. Yet of the 3-4 employees working there no one could make my food. All they seemed to do was constantly walk back and forth to the back and disappear. I waited and waited for 20 minutes while other patrons food came out from the surrounding restaurants. Once the food did come though it was sloppy but still delicious. I would normally give BRD an amazing review but only because the times I have gone I ate in. This time I had a craving for their amazing chicken sandwich and decided to pick it up to take home. I live less than a mile from R. House and made no stops on the way home. When I got home the sandwich got steamed in the foil it was wrapped in. Needless to say all the breading was soggy and half falling off and the bun disintegrated. It was not at all appetizing and I ended up throwing it out. BRD please do not wrap to go sandwiches in anything that is going to steam the hot sandwich. I love you guys but I will not be taking your food home from now on. :( read more

Holy God. An exquisite fried chicken sandwich. I speak only of the classic Baltimore BRD, theatrically piled high with two pieces of chicken that would each make their own respectable sandwich, dressed in the classic southern fashion with pickles and a spicy sauce that is well worth a little extra on the side, and sandwiched between perfect a perfect potato bun. I haven't tried the other variations they sell, but I saw a lot of people hungrily enjoying. For myself, it will be hard to branch out from this simple expression of a sandwich that has infinite variations, but this one is Baltimore's best. read more

This is my favorite location inside of R House. The sandwiches are huge. You will need a knife and fork to ear them so you do not drop any of the deliciousness. The Bmore Brd is my favorite. I love anything with chicken in it and the Baltimore brd is a good first timer meal. THe chicken/bread ratio is crazy. It comes in a potato roll and that just made it even better. It's filling just to get the sandwich itself but I got the meal combo with the fries and sweet tea which came to about 14.50$ not too bad for a hipster place. I went in yesterday, which was my first time to R House by the way (I'll definitely make a return to R House). The menu is simple enough that it won't take long to order. I've been pretty much coming to the R house since they opened..another Baltimore wonder tucked away in Remington.. so even though I've frequented, I never tried BRD until yesterday..boy oh boy oh boy!!! I was at work and I was starving.. Uber Eats to the rescue and insert BRD.. 30 min later I had my food, still piping hot and looked amazing.. I sunk my teeth in my BRD Sandwich which consisted of their antibiotics free chicken, BRD sauce and pickle and the angels sang.. The food was amazing..juicy..flavorable..good on the eye..nice crunch on the chicken.. AWESOME..AWESOME AWESOME... I have ordered twice since yesterday..
