Service was fine, as the guy didn't have much else going on so he was fully attentive. The food, however, is the purpose of this review. I believe that we both got the enchiladas verdes. Decent enough, but not earth shattering. The corn tortillas were unusually soft because of the soupy verde sauce, so they broke apart. The chicken itself was flavorful enough. The beans were fine. Not sure that this would be a repeat visit for me.

In terms of gas pumps, there were a lot of gas pumps, and this location can handle a large rush. Ordered ahead on the app - ordering a steak and cheese ciabatta sandwich, along with a small mac and cheese and a 20oz. Their breads have always been exceptional, and this trip was no exception. The bread was fresh, the order was ready upon entry, and the quality was on-point. Staff inside was very good and helpful as well as friendly, even if they don't do plastic bags and charge 38¢ for a paper bag. Would recommend!

There are some homeless types hanging out around the shopping center which is gross. The subway has a sign that says you can only sit in their shop for 20mins. Which is good because it helps keep out the riff raff. The staff is friendly and cute.

Now that…read morecaptain Harvey's original location has bit the dust, we're looking for another cheesesteak place. Jeremy never loved captain Harvey's so we'd rather try a new place in hopes of finding a takeaway that truly slaps (that's what the kids are saying these days, right?) Apparently there aren't any cheesesteak places in the area that use Chez whiz so we're probably not going to have much luck satisfying Jeremy. Personally, I find the stuff tasteless. A friend suggested we try california pizza and wings because it was his go to after getting his nails done at the salon next door. So, what the hell? Let's give them a try. They are currently the winners, only because we've already struck out fillettis (aka Merritt sub) and a couple of others I don't even remember. However, that does not mean that we will return. The cheesesteaks were good but the breaded mushrooms were horrible- mostly breading. My cheesesteak hit harder the next day when I ate the leftover half. Jeremy was disappointed that they didn't have garlic parmesan wings. He opted for honey garlic, which were tasty, but he can be pretty picky when it comes to wings. He also didn't care for the roll of his chesesteak, but said he'd totally go back for another, in a pinch.
