Came in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon...3:30. There were a few other people there eating, but no line, so we were able to put in an order very quickly. We don't know a lot about Brazilian cuisine, except for the all-you-can eat steakhouses, but thought we'd give it a try. Wanted to try a few different dishes, so stayed away from the plates and bigger meals. Ordered Pizza pastel, Bananinha, large Coxinha, a 6 piece combo of Bolinha de Queijo and Bolinha de Carne (3 each...and thank you for allowing us to do this), and Fried Yuca. Sat down at a table...there were plenty available, including some outside. Interior of the restaurant was clean (except the one table just vacated, and it was cleaned shortly after we sat down). Service staff was very friendly. All of our food looks to be fried, which is fine with me. The first problem we had was that almost everything came out to us just lukewarm. It was especially noticeable with the cheese in the Pizza pastel and the Bolinha de Queijo, which was not melted. The Yuca came out hot, but none of the Parmesan cheese that was apparently sprinkled on after cooking stuck to the food...it all fell to the bottom of the container. One other thing...the Yuca was $5.50, and we received 5 pieces. They were the size of regular potato wedges, but it seemed a little much to be $1.10 each. The other thing that was a bit off-putting was the dryness of the meat in the Bolinha de Carne and the Coxinha. I have the feeling that it was pre-cooked before being put into the pastry. This is I think backed up by the fact that the pastry surrounding the meat was doughy and seemed a little undercooked. There was a sauce that came with the meal, maybe that was meant to add some moisture to the meats? Lastly, the Bananinha. The inside of sliced banana and cinnamon-sugar was warm and gooey, but I would have liked a little more with the amount of pastry surrounding it....a little thing.... The outside was sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar, but it mostly fell off when I went to take a bite. Maybe it was allowed to cool too long after coming out of the fryer??? In any event, it was delicious, and I enjoyed it. read more

Lovely little place!! Met up with a friend for lunch. The staff gave excellent recommendations as well as adapted the menu to try many different items. I had a tasty iced latte with a sandwich, my friend the coxinha (I also ordered coxinha to go). The cheese and chicken ones were our favorites. Took home some desserts as well. Per staff recommendation, we tried the tres leches cake in a cup and some flan. Tres leches is to die for - sweet with real caramel. I was in the area and found this place on yelp with five star reviews so I thought I would give it a try. The servers were all so kind and the meals came out pretty quickly. The cheese breads are good sized. It's good to share between 3 people. The steak sandwich at first glance looked small. But once I took a bite I was impressed. There aren't too many fries either but any more would be just too much food. I wanted a small side of feijoada but it's only served on the weekends. Gorgeous location in a shopping area surrounded by restaurants, stores and a gigantic movie theater. Depending when you go, there might be live music outside. The staff is cordial and friendly. As I was eating my picanha Plate, I noticed the black bean was missing from my dish. When the server came to check on me, I asked about the black beans and they promptly brought me the beans. I was shopping at Nordstrom Rack and got hungry. I searched "food" and didn't realize that this place was in the same plaza. What caught my eye was their steak and rice dish I saw on Yelp. This cafe is to the right of the movie theater and it's decor is very cute. They have outdoor dining as well. I noticed their menu is different than what I saw online meaning they may have seasonal options and that you'll never run out things to try. So altho I came for the steak I saw a dish I've never heard of before called the Feijoada that's only served on Sundays. Well it happening to be a Sunday I HAD TO ORDER IT, right?! Ha So it turns out that it's the national dish of Brazil and altho my steak cravings were not satisfied I found this dish to be ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER EATEN. Wow, just wow. I didn't know how to eat it at first tho, luckily a couple of lovely Brazilian ladies sitting nearby helped show me how. Here's how. Pour the bean, meat stew over rice. Pour some of the crumb looking thing on top, eat with the salad. Bam. I also had to try their fresh juices and got to try the pineapple mint, and the passionfruit. Delish af. The capirinha cocktail with vodka was super refreshing and not overly sweet and came with a tropical popsicle. That was a pleasant surprise. My date ordered a square crispy pastry filled with chicken and cheese that tasted phenomenal. Pasties She also ordered small beef pastries that were really great as well. This was quite a drive from us but we would drive anywhere to try new Brazilian food. My boyfriend got the steak plate which is picanha served with rice, salad (lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, lemon) and farofa (crispy delicious topping to put on top of the beans) and beans in this cute little pot on the side so it can stay hot. My boyfriend loved the plate, however, I thought it was a good plate but not mind blowing, the flavors were good though. I ordered the picanha sandwich, very simple came with tomatoes and cheese. It tastes exactly how you think it would taste. Like I mentioned with the steak plate, it's nothing shocking, just a simple meal with good flavor. There is outdoor seating, water station with plain water and lemon infused water which I thought was very cool. We were greeted right away when we entered and the place was clean and had cute decorations. The cheese and beef balls were really good. The misto quenche was not what i expected. When i had it in Brazil the ham and cheese were cooked and the bread was more toasty. The pastel was good but also not the same as what i remember. The service was perfect and the workers appear to be from Brazil as they speak Portuguese. The overall location is chill. For starters, you must get their coxinhas and pastel (go with the beef or chicken). They don't skimp out on the filling. I've also ordered their natural juices. My favorite is the passion fruit or pineapple/mint (so refreshing for summer). I've had their steak (picanha) and chicken strogonoff dishes. The steak comes with rice and black beans, with a side of farofa and salad. The chicken strogonoff comes with rice, salad, and potato sticks. Both dishes are very good. Brazuca is a nicely lit and nicely decorated little gem. The son of the owner was very kind and helped answer any questions I had about ingredients and dishes. I ordered the picahna sandwich which was very delicious and light. I loved the simplicity of the dish and the aioli really helped elevate the flavor profile. I also tried their potato croquette which I dare say was better than Portos. I'll definitely return and try more of their dishes. I had the pleasure of trying this family owned fast casual restaurant today. They have a small menu but whatever they have in it they certainly do right. I had the picanha plate and pão de quiejo. The steak plate made my day! The picanha was so good my husband and I ended up ordering an extra side of it. It was juicy, tender, and very flavorful from great seasoning. It came with rice, black beans, and salad. If you like spice, the pepper vinegar on the table was so good we bought a bottle of it for home. The  beef pastel was nice but I agree with other reviews that the filling was minimal (and all on one side). The shell is really delicious on its own so that's the upside. We tried 6 small croquettes. The beef was best, then cheese, then chicken. I liked the white sauce that came on the side. The orange juice was nice and fresh and I enjoyed the fruit infused water (orange and lime) that was complimentary. Their strawberry and chocolate pastel and flan made for a sweet dessert.
