Great food and also surprised by the good service (I thought it was more of a Cafe but they do bring your food up to your table and bus the tables). Delicious and authentic. I got the cheese bread, a pastel, and a meat plate and it was enough for two adults to split perfectly. read more

Love the pastels! Regular dinner plates are like a home-cooked meal. Desserts are delightful!

Such a nice little Brazilian cafe close by to us with home cooked, delicious Brazilian meals. My fiancé is Brazilian and he approves of all the dishes here! We love coming for the picanha steak plate and an order of pao de queijo (cheesy bread) and guarana (Brazilian soda). The service is always good and friendly. We already bring our dog as it's a dog friendly place and we eat outside. Highly recommend trying it out! It's one of the very few Brazilian restaurants here in OC that is not a buffet and we always love coming here when we crave some Brazilian home cooked meals. read more

Amazing food! Great atmosphere! Awesome service! The pastel, coxinha, and kibe were delicious. As a Brazilian, it felt like home. And to make things even better, they had the Brazil soccer game live on their TV. Thank you! read more

I was in Metro Pointe today n it was like ghost town there was few people shopping n nobody in any restaurants there except at this new Brazilian cafe, Brazuca. I have been to South America 3x n of course Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo n 3 more Brazilian cities, needless to say I am fascinated by Brazilian food, I have been to all the Fogo de Chao Churrascaria n unfortunately the one in Huntington Beach was not good, all the other ones were. I have steak left over fr a New Orleans Cajun cuisine at home but wanted to try this new cafe. Im sorry if I have to be honest, the owners are a nice young couple n her name happened to be like my daughter's name, I so much wish the food was as good as I experienced but unfortunately it was not. The picanha didn't taste authentic but I managed to eat it w my 10 bottles of assorted hot sauces fr around the world! Lol but the small soup was too expensive n had little flavor, it sure was not worth $12.99. The croquettes were ok, the only item delicious was the flan but it lacks the caramel flavor, I used to make a real caramel sauce w the flan when my kids were home as nobody in usa makes them. If you have never been to Brazil then this cafe might be a 4 stars. Sorry I'm not going back as I'm going to Miami next year n that's where Brazilians live along w Argentinians n Cubans I have been everywhere now my trips basically are to oink oink !. read more

Two of us had lunch here today. The food was fantastic. I had the stroganoff (who knew it could be considered Brazilian food) and it was very very good. The fried plantains were hot and delicious. I know my companion liked their bowl because it was empty when we left. I'll be back. read more

This is the best spot to get Brazilian food, super authentic, delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly!

I consider myself a somewhat elite Brazilian food critic, having lived there and also having been to all the local churrascarias, and also having married a Brazilian. But mostly, to be honest, because I have good taste and judgment. Every thing on the menu here is high quality and delicious. We ordered the Picanha plate and it was as good as any we've had in our out of Brazil. All the "salgadinhos" (savory snacks) were incredible, especially the pastels. We also ordered four desserts and all were tremendous. I fully endorse this establishment and will return promptly. read more

So we were walking around the food court and checking out the changes when we stopped by Brazuca Cafe. The better half and I decided to sample the Beef Pastel and the stuffed Cheese bites. oh my goodness they were fantastic! The Cheese Bites managed to meet/exceed our usual favorites from Agora steakhouse - a bit larger, but a perfect blend of bread and cheese. Flavorful start. Up next was the Beef Pastel - was certainly a good portion for what you paid for - about the size of a small sandwich - and the flavors were amazing - such a humble appearance but wow! I expect she will drag me there again soon for more.... read more

We were driving by when I saw this from the freeway. As a Brazilian, of course I stopped by to try it. I was really excited from the pictures of the pastels because generally, the ones you find here resemble more of an empanada instead of the Brazilian pastel. So I ordered the cheese pastel and my husband the chicken pastel. The place is so adorably decorated. I loved the ambiance, it was extremely clean and the staff was so friendly. I got carried away and also ordered the cake in a cup. I got the prestígio, which is chocolate cake with coconut cream. It was SO good. The cake was extremely moist and the cream was creamy as it should be. It's a generous portion so you can definitely share. I loved the service too. The girl who took our order was so friendly. Unfortunately, once we got our pastels and picked them up, both started leaking oil. I don't mean dripping. I mean a full on stream of oil. I expected some grease from the cheese to come out, but it wasn't from the cheese. The picture I have is from the initial leak. It filled half of the plate. My husbands filled the entire plate with grease. We looked at them and you could see the pastel hadn't been closed properly and like had definitely seeped inside. From looking at it, you could also see the dough was wet with oil. It was hard to taste the actual pastel and decide if it tasted good or not because all I could taste was oil. The other reviews seem like they were good, so when we're nearby next time, I want to come by and try it again for sure. Maybe it was just a bad day. The cake was one of the best cake in a cup I've had! read more

Food is very delicious ' we ordered the steak plate; steak sandwich, ham and cheese sandwich, Pao de queso, coxhinia, and brigaderos. My only reason for 4/5 instead of 5/5 is they don't have a menu for kids & since portions are pretty decent sizes for adults, it's too much for a little one. Would definitely recommend for authentic Brazilian favors. read more

Friendly staff, delicious food, perfect outdoor seating to enjoy the amazing SoCal weather!

Delicious food and good pricing. A varied menu and a very clean interior. Friendly service also. I had the chicken plate and it was delicious. There are not that many Brazilian restaurants around, so this was a great find in the area. Meals come with a salad, rice and black beans, and they have a variety of drinks, including caphairinas, beers and soft drinks. This is my favorite Brazilian restaurant in Orange County. Highly recommend trying all the Brazilian pastries.

Absolutely phenomenal! Firstly the redecorating of this space completely changed what it feels like compared to the restaurant that was previously here. The owners are just absolutely amazing and kind and are great at recommending things for you to try if you aren't quite sure what to get. The food is delicious and worth every penny. I've tried a handful of items and I have yet to find something I don't like. read more

so we were looking for something quick, lighter and easy before a movie; we had a little time to burn and ordered one of their savory pasteis' wow, yeah -- i don't know what i can compare it to other than a really delicious argentinian empanada. it's crispy + flaky on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside, and totally worth a try. it made for such a great pre-movie treat that we made a point of coming back for a late night dinner afterward after the movie, the two of us shared the chicken stroganoff and for the price, i do wish the serving was a little bit larger than it was. that being said it was really, really good, so we went back for dessert and ordered their condensed-milk-flavored cake in a cup, which was incredibly sweet and quite dense, as far as cake goes. if you're looking for something simple or light, i'd probably try something else, and if going to order it at all, i think you might want to pair it with a hot coffee or tea or something to cut the sweetness and just break it up some otherwise, the caipirinha was new to us so we had to try it, and i thought, as a layperson, it was quite reminiscent of a margarita (lime, sugar). surprisingly, it comes with a popsicle! though because it was so unexpected we weren't able to finish it while we were there anyway, overall, very delicious if not a little pricey, and one of the best options available in metro pointe. thanks for the food! looking forward to visiting you all again read more

The casual ambiance is great to relax in, food is priced reasonably, and taste great. The staff actually speak Portuguese, and that's a nice to have in a Brazilian place. I can't tell you about the coffee because I didn't have any. But the Coxinha was good, probably not as good as Redondo Beach's, but not bad at all. The Pastel's skin needs a bit more work, not doughy enough and a bit thick. Also a bit greasy. The filling is good. The Kibe was a bit over cooked, so it was a bit hard and dry. Great steak. Oh well... a good start, I'm sure it'll get better. read more

The steak plate with picanha was not great. The rice wasn't flavorful, the beans had big pieces of bacon (not a thing in Brazil), and the steak was chewy. I like the coxinha (it was very authentic) read more

Wow. What an incredible addition to this mundane food court. I saw that they had a pan de queso (cheese bread) sandwich with fillings I didn't like. They made one for me with ham and cheese. Then, they put it on a panini press. That warmed up the cheese in the bread. I had a moment with my sandwich. My husband wanted the picanha. We are at a quick serve restaurant in a food court. I questioned his discernment. Who orders a steak at a place like this? Then they brought out the steak. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. For less than $20, he had a beautifully cooked steak. Rare with a great crust. (I had another moment with my food) It came with rice, black beans, and a small salad. A friend got a latte and said it was delish. This was only the second day of a soft opening. I will definitely be back! For those with Celiac, the owner is going to try and keep one of the fryers as a dedicated fryer! read more

We recently ate at Brazuca Cafe and had a great experience! Both the The beef and Chicken stroganoffs were very flavorful, and the rice was cooked to perfection. I have paid twice as much for a lessor Stroganof I was also impressed with their gluten-free cheese bread - it was delicious and a great option for those with dietary restrictions. One person in our party had dietary restrictions and Our server, Agata, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Brazuca Cafe is truly wonderful! Everything was delicious and the staff were very friendly and answered some questions I had about the menu. I ordered the feijoada (bean stew) and some appetizers such as coxinhas and pão de queijo. My favorite was the feijoada and my least favorite was the pão de queijo, but it was all very tasty! If you like fudge, I would recommend the brigadeiros, they're delicious little chocolate truffles with fudge! I enjoyed my experience and would absolutely return to this little gem in Costa Mesa!
