We went there for dinner today, it was way better than I expected. A new favorite place for sure. Also it's in a super cute mall and both the indoor and outdoor seating are very nice. The pastel de carne and pastel de palmito com queijo were DELICIOUS! If you miss pastel too you know that good ones are hard to find out here, even at some of the best Brazilian places, so this was an awesome surprise. And to make it even better, they offered a delicious hot sauce and a homemade mayo to go with it. Both were spectacular. The picanha plates were great too, the meat quality is super high and it was excellently cooked. Delicious farofa too, and great beans. All around a great dish. I was going to order extra food to go but got so distracted by the array of desserts that I forgot to order that while I struggled to choose sweets to go. At least I have cake. lol (We stuffed ourselves with so much pastel and picanha that I didn't get to eat dessert there. lol My husband did get the sweet pastel with Nutella and strawberries as dessert though, and like everything else it was amazing! Great food, get that large coxinha it's definitely a must try. so delicious, but if you can't have fish I wouldn't suggest it. All I can say is I can probably eat a dozens of those. the service is great, it's really a you order at the register and you pay and sit down. Have lived in the area for decades and came across Brazuca Cafe recently on the web. Few days ago I ordered their pastries - coxinha, pasteis (cheese/heart of palms/beef) and kibbeh for delivery. As a picky eater this was an overall unprecedented surprise. I can tell they use high quality, fresh and healthy ingredients to achieve such level of taste and aftertaste. I am familiar with the Brazilian Cuisine and am sure they run a secret recipe for the food they make. While kibbeh is a Middle Eastern delicacy, it's also a very popular dish in Brazil. I couldn't stop eating ! Yesterday, I placed another online order of pastries along with their "Feijoada" - a black bean stew with select red meats and sides. While I expected the portion be larger for the price, it was another outstanding delicious surprise cooked to perfection. Overall, this is by far the next level of the Brazilian Cuisine. I was in the area and stopped by for lunch! Wow! This place is great. Very fresh food. I had the Maui Maui plate. My only suggestion is that they create a lunch sized serving. $20 is a lot for lunch and I didn't need that much food. Staff very friendly! Love the infused water. I don't come to South Coast that often but I will definitely come to this restaurant when I do. read more

It's a cute little authentic Brazilian cafe. They have a good menu to choose from. I tried their cheese and meat potato balls and steak sandwich. Potato balls were not Porto's but it tasted authentic and home made. The steak in the sandwich was tender and full of flavor. This would make a good lunch spot during work days. read more

OH MY GOD! I have to say that my entire salary is being spent on eating at this restaurant. All the items are very fresh and flavorful, with the authentic taste of Brazil, and of course, my weekend routine involves going there for lunch. I have to emphasize that, in addition to the excellent service, the stroganoff (like a chicken in cream with herbs and corn) is wonderful, as well as the feijoada, which is a delicious bean stew with pork and sausage. GET THE PICANHA!! It's so good! I unknowingly walked in a few minutes before they closed and ordered the Picanha plate. They said I'd have to take it to-go, which was fine, but I was a bit skeptical since they were about to close. I decided to go for it, and I'm glad I did. When I got home, I let it sit for a minute, then dug in. It was definitely one of the most delicious pieces of beef I've ever had--so rich and covered in rendered fat. The food is amazing here. This place is such a hidden gem. The map takes you to jared's but this place is right next to the edward's theatre inside the plaza. Traditional Brazilian food. It brought me back to Brazil with all of the wonderful flavors.

The cafe is located on the Crystal Court Side of South Coast next to the chicken place and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Since its a cafe the menu is pretty limited but thats ok because what they do serve, they actually do quite well and for a reasonable price especially being in the mall environment. We tried a few of starter items including the baked cheese bread, beef thin crust pie, and the croquette. My favorite was the thin crust pie and the cheese bread. My wife and i both thought the croquette was "gummy". We then shared the pichaha steak plate, which came with rice and beans, and two pieces of steak which wre nicely seasoned and tender. We also ordered one of the signature drinks which was nice and refreshing. Overall the place is defintely a welcome change to what you normally find in the area and since its on the other side of the mall, there is plenty of parking in the structure. read more
