This is for a long overdue review for massage therapist, Rasheeda Dove. I have received massages from many places, and Rasheeda is hands-down the best therapist that I have encountered. I do a lot of work on the computer, and that results in extremely tight, knotted shoulders/ upper back. Rasheeda works magic with her hands in undoing all those knots. as usual, i was getting bored of my almost-3-month-old perm and the layered cut i got not too long ago. i felt it still looked a lil blah, so i decided to get another haircut. i called bravo hoping they have a spot for me, being that i wanted to get this thing done, like right now! i didn't wanna be my usual self and just walk in. they set me up for an appt. an hour from the time i called (another client ended up canceling). i got to the salon, and as usual, checked in and was offered drinks while i waited for 5 minutes for monique to finish up on another client. i showed her this hairstyle a la joan jett but more demure, which by the way is a style i've been wanting forever!!! when i got my brazilian blowout, i wanted this style but the one stylist who i knew could do it was telling me that she didn't wanna thin out the bottom of my hair to achieve the style because i'm more likely to get split ends that way. i was swayed away from the style since my hair was pretty fried already and had a lot of split ends. i was looking on line the night before i got the hair cut and saw the same style on a medium length, permed hair and i decided to just go for it. i didn't get the assistant's name, but homegirl gave me one of the best head massages when she washed my hair! after the wash, i sat on her chair, and monique does her business. she blow dried my hair straight, which i was kinda 'eh' about because i wanted to see the hairstyle with my perm, but she said she wanted it straight so she can fine tune the style - which she did with brilliance! as she cut my hair, she thanked me for having her create a hairstyle that's more "out there" than the usual bob that seems to be asked of her to do everyday (she called it a certain name, but i don't wanna put her on blast). big thanks to monique for creating a hairstyle that i've wanted for soooooo long!! a very relaxed, professional environment in this salon. everyone that works here present themselves very well, and all of the services that i've gotten here has been the best. i definitely recommend bravo. read more

The reception staff is great - very friendly. My main complaint was that I booked an appointment with Renee and while she did a great job on my hair, she was 35 minutes late and the entire time I sat in the waiting area, no one came to tell me she was running behind. When she finally took me, she didn't even apologize for running so late - a little "I'm sorry you have been waiting" would have gone a long way. As a busy professional, I would have appreciated a phone call to tell me she was running behind so that I could have been in the office a little longer and not reading dated magazines in a plastic chair. read more

I have been getting my hair cut by Andy for a few years and finally decided to write a review after a big hairstyle change. I've had long hair for most of my life but decided it was time for something drastically different. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but that I wanted it chopped. This type of change takes trust and Andy knows me so well that she was able to translate what I thought I wanted into a style that I really love. I've never received so many complements on my hair - even from complete strangers who don't know the cut was a big change. I feel like Andy cares about my hair just as much as I do. I love,love,love this salon. I have been getting my color and cut here for years. From the minute you walk in the girls are so friendly and they all know me by name. I always feel so comfortable and at ease with all of them. Monique cuts my hair and it always looks so good. We have tried so many types of styles and i alwys love it.She has so much knowlege in what she does. She gives you cuts that you can manage on your own, and shows you how she is styling your hair so you can mimic it at home When im geting my hair cut she focuses only on me and we chit chat all the way through. She may jugle a milliont hings at a time because she is the owner but she always gives me 150% of her attention. I love it. Liz does my color, she is so funky and everytime I go she is full of life. I received the best cut & color from Nora Luna, & I will undoubtably be a customer for life! I've always bounced around from stylist to stylist, never really finding one that made me look half as beautiful as Nora. I have long, dark hair that I almost always wear down, & I told Nora that I loved long, sleek layers. I also said that I was obsessed with the look of caramel colored highlights, but that it also needed to be semi low maintenance. She seriously gave me the best cut I've ever had & she also introduced me to balayage. I've only ever had foil highlights before this & the grow out was always so obvious, but with the balayage, my highlights look so natural & gorgeous! The color was exactly what I was going for!! I had an AMAZING experience at Bravo this past week. I had a rough day, and needed to be pampered. I walked into the salon & was immediately offered ice cold water on a hot California day by an extremely friendly receptionist. I had my nails done, and they still look fabulous. I also took advantage of having a shampoo/blowdry while I was in there. It looked incredible. When I checked out, the receptionist was just as pleasant as when I first walked in, and made sure I was happy with my services. I will definitely be coming back to this salon. read more

find another salon...i was there months ago, the receptionist is pretentious and failed to let my hairdresser know that i was there waiting a half an hour when the hairdresser was waiting for me. on my next and last visit, my hair was colored raspberry pink...not even close to the color i wanted. read more

I have had the following services: color, cut and nails. Renee is great for color and does a wonderful up-do. My other experiences have been terrible. Based on pricing, one would expect better quality. One of the stylists that cut my hair, cut a big chunk from underneath on the right side. It was an error that was not disclose to me. When I tried to do my hair the next morning, I discovered it. I told the salon and they said they would "talk to" the stylist. Same stylist cut my daughter's hair and it was uneven. As it turned out, she was an assistant who was newly assigned to a station, or so I was told. Wasn't aware of this and paid full price for each cut. I have had the owner cut my hair as well, and while she does an excellent job, don't make an appointment unless you have extra time. She was always late; even when I booked first appointment of the day. I have had my nails done by two different technicians. The first time my nails looked hideous and I complained. Again, they said they would "talk to" the technician. I tried the second technician, and never went back. Angie does a great pedicure. read more
