I've eaten there a couple times and I really loved their fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. I've never had a better alfredo dish than this place. I also tried their scampi and it was really delicious and garlicky. I liked their garlic rolls as well. I'm sure the next time I go I'll probably order the fettuccine alfredo again. Usually this place is a hands down 5 but my latest experience wasn't as good. Their phone was down so could not call for take out. And they were stingy on their escargot bread. In the past the amount of bread would match the order and many times be over. Had to cut the tip amount I usually give too. The people just lacked the same pep in their step as before. But the food was as good as it usually is. Still a good place to eat but expect less service and budgeted food. read more

This is my 2nd time coming to Bravo's after living on Oahu for 10 years. Our first visit was in 2013 and remembered something was off but decided to try it again after all this time and it was picked by our dear friend for dinner. We got seating pretty quickly being that we had a large group. Thalia took our drink orders right away and then entrees shortly after. Bread came out and...I though it was garlic butter rolls? It was more like bread that should of been baked a little more and needed garlic and salt. We ended up doctoring it up ourselves but still, meh. The rest of our orders came....don't recommend the chicken piccatta. It was literally chicken alfredo with capers. If you want chicken piccatta, go to CPK or Cheesecake Factory at the minimum! All the other pastas were overly oily, noodles were just about over cooked and mushy and the biggest....it's flavorless. Besides our waitress Thalia, everyone else was rude. I asked one gal who delivered my plate for extra fork and she literally looked at me and then walked away. Like wtf, did you hear me?! I mean she obviously did because she brought it to me but it left the table gasping like DANG, what a biotch. Anyways, we won't be back again and will recommend other places for pasta. I'm sure you have a couple of restaurants you go to for just one specific dish. You may have tried several thing over the years but they just didn't beat out the other places but there's still that one thing you want.....that's how I feel about Bravos and their chef's salad. Don't give me the raw garlic balls, don't give me anything pasta, just give me a full order of their chef's salad. Not a traditional Italian salad but for me it's what I like from this restaurant. Loaded with meat and cheese and a very tart dressing I could take intravenously. I always ask for extra so I can use it on another salad from home. I love chicken picatta and it's one of the only things I order when I go to other Italian restaurants. The server was nice enough to not charge for the side of sauce. The capers tasted old, and the lemon sauce didn't taste anything like it should've. It tasted like straight up oiled noodles with expired capers. Been wanting to try this place for years. Went for lunch today (Sun 07/17/2022). Arrived about 11:15am and was seated right away. There was lots of seating that early, but started to fill up 1/2 way through our meal. There's also lots of parking in the area. Had the Eggplant Parm and we shared the dessert, teramisu. Bravo is a great place for family dinners...I've seen groups of at least a dozen accommodated! There aren't many place where parents can feel comfortable about their rascally, loud kids. I was invited by a good friend and much to my surprise, I guess due to the pandemic, it wasn't too busy, usually there's a line form outside. As usual, when you check in, they check your vaccination card, and ID. We were seated next to the window and had a nice view of outside. We were greeted by our waitress, who served us bread for starters. We ordered appetizers, and drinks. For the main course, I ordered steak and mushroom linguine. The portions was generous. For desert I ordered sundae... basically Kona coffee ice cream layered with cream in-between. The bread starter was endless and you could order it with no extra charge. I've been going to Bravos ever since I moved to Oahu 12 years ago. It's a place where my friends and I would go to get quick, delicious pasta. Its a place where I always recommend when anyone asks me where are the best Italian restaurants on the island. For all the times I've been coming here, there wasn't a time where there was no wait to be seated. That to me validates that it's one of the most popular pasta joints out there. Other then the wait, service has aways been good. Once you order your food, it doesn't take long for your pasta to arrive. What keeps me coming is the free garlic knots. They're really addicting to where you're already too full to eat your whole meal, because they keep on refilling your bread basket once you run out. Bravo's isn't my cup of tea but I'll eat here if I have to. I don't usually like to dine in but it's nice to do once in a while. The last time I came here when covid wasn't here was back in 2017 after I came home from graduating and I'd still give it a 3/5 star rating. The BEST thing about BRAVOS is the GOURLICCCC BREAD that ILSM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot tell ya'll how full I can get eating off of it. The most recent time I came I got the mozzarella cheese sticks that was drenched in sauce which wasn't actually bad! I liked it! For my meal I got a burger because now with Covid, they shut down their pizza station (SADNESS!!!!). My mom loves their seafood pasta, but I could care less about their pasta. It's not that I don't like it, it's just that I'm not much of a pasta person. Honestly so sad their pizza station is closed cause if you ain't craving pasta, pizza is ALWAYS a great option. They should reopen it back up! What's great is also the parking, you can always count on spots to be available. It's not hard to find but I can see how the entrance may be a bit hard to find. My friends that I recently went with hasn't been there before and my friend almost got lost finding the entrance but she found it easily. They do make you wait in the lobby area if more than 1/2 of your party isn't there which kind of sucks because if you're starving you can't start ordering appetizers or snack on the garlic bread. But I get it, and it makes sense! However, whenever I come here, the service is always great and the servers are always nice and friendly! Their to go is very smooth and efficient. A big glass of ice water and a basket of hot garlic knots are provided first off. The salad was fresh and chilled with lots of ingredients and a tasty dressing. We had a party of 10 and the were able to accommodate us really quick as we got there by 5pm. Too bad they were unable to split the bill because of the large party. She came around to fill up water and refill all sodas as it ran low. Also the bread kept coming too, it was a plus. Parking is ample since it was still early. We ordered kids Alfredo. Daughter says there was no taste and it just tasted like water. The shrimp and chicken Alfredo,seafood harvest with linguini ( very nice presentation) eggplant parmigiana ( very tasty by the way), chicken parmigiana, steak and mushroom fettuccine and some desserts.. Food was good to all. My husband says his dish was ehhh okay. My Alfredo was cheesy but I wish there were more shrimp. The shrimp were small. I think they used Size 36/45 snd I suggest using 16/20 if only giving out seven pieces. Just a note; the Alfredo will have no taste after reheating the next morning. Overall experience was fast, professional, and satisfying till the very end. We were in and out in less than an hour. It was too fast. Too bad no discounts for birthday celebrants. Mood: very full Safety: since new state mandate restaurants have no restriction on capacity, it was a very scary experience for me. There were no plexiglass in between seat benches. I'm gonna start off by saying that the customer service here is awesome! I walked in last night at almost 9:30pm I was worried service would be iffy due to it being 30 minutes to closing time. But in my surprise we were seated right away given our menus and was able to order appetizers and drinks almost immediately. Our waitress Chavelle was so awesome and took care of us from beginning to end, she refilled our waters frequently and kept our garlic knots filled and even packed us fresh ones to go home with. Last night we tried the caprese salad, it's so simple yet so delicious I could get enough of it. Our waitress even brought over the special vinaigrette they use for the salad so that we could use it to dip our garlic knots in, seriously a game changer, you have to try it! The calamari was nice and crispy. My husband ordered the calamari steak with creamy fettuccini pasta, this was a winner also. The calamari steak was breaded and fried and the cream sauce was so good, if you like lemon and capers this is one to try. I ordered the seafood risotto which is my go to here, and as usual it never disappoints. My husband also ordered dessert he tried the NY cheese cake he couldn't decide between having caramel or cherry sauce for the topping so Chavelle brought both in separate containers, which was so nice. I've been coming here since before I could remember. It was a go-to spot for family dinner because of the delicious Italian food and its proximity to my Pearl City home. It's located at Pearlridge Shopping Center right off of Kamehameha Highway. Sometimes parking is not great, but patience is a virtue. First things first, the GARLIC KNOTS. If you've ever come here, you'd know they provide endless delicious garlic knots. They're delicious, tasty, and easy to chomp on. Don't eat too many though or you'll get full. The rad part is that they also refill DURING your meal not just before. What a score. My go to dish is the pesto linguine with shrimp and scallops. I also enjoy their chicken or eggplant Parmesan and their seafood harvest. All of these dishes are truly delicious winners. I probably gravitate to the pesto because I love its creamy delight! The servers here are always friendly (like always and ice been here more times than I can count). They treat you like you're old friends, which makes it all the more welcoming. Went there for lunch today, food was ok, waitress was alright but what makes me not want to go back was how dirty it was, all floor surfaces were filthy, a cabinet near our table was so dusty, walking by the bar area to the bathroom and the stench from that area was so bad, the entire restaurant smelled dirty, it it's that dirty on the customers side I can just imagine what the back area where food is prepped. Initially, the calamari was tasty, hot, and the batter was nicely crisp. I don't know what happened, but something tasted not right, don't know if it was the squid or the sauce. The main dishes arrived shortly thereafter, they looked good, but the sauce was very watery. It's a garlic butter sauce, but had a lot of what looked like water in the sauce. The taste was ok at best. The sauce looked the same for both the shrimp scampi and the scallops. The shrimp was small and tender. The scallops were small and a bit rubbery and tasteless. Had lunch at Bravo's today by Pearl ridge for lunch, along with their regular menu they have a special lunch menu. Ordered the chicken parmasan with spaghetti noodles. Portions is lunch size for 14.99 just enough with no leftovers. The pasta was not El Dante so very disappointed! Waitress was not very friendly, seems like just there to do her job and nothing more. I had to update my review because this place is always a staple in our household for filling, fabulous, food at a great value...oh, and also because one of my favorite Yelpers is in town (Mikey C) and I recommended this place to him and it just won't do with my previous 3-star review (not sure what possessed me to give a 3-star when I've been coming here for over 20 years). Sure, the place is crowded and loud and parking can suck really bad, but where else can you get endless garlic buttery rolls? I usually end up sprinkling Parmesan cheese on them, followed by the red pepper flakes. Where else can you get freshly made linguine noodles with a flavorful Tomato cream sauce with calamari body parts in them? Here! That's where! I've been ordering the Calamari Linguine for years and years and years and years and haven't found better anywhere else. We had dinner at a fancy restaurant the other night and their calamari linguine was nowhere near Bravo's quality.
