    What is the deal with Bravo's cutting up the spaghetti noodles into small pieces? I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and mister ordered the chx parmesan and strange that the noodles were small pieces, like feeding a toddler!

    Inconsistent. Usually this is our go to spot when we want pasta but lately it has been inconsistent. Some days the food is good and some days it taste weird. Our most recent visit, my fiancé and eldest daughter said their food did not taste too good which they usually order the same thing every time. The service however, we've never had an issue. We got there during peak lunch time and was still seated within 10 mins. Our waitress checked on us constantly and made sure our drinks were filled. Overall... it's good but they just need to work on the consistency of their food. If the food continues to disappoint, we may have to look for another spot.

    I'll easily give 5 stars just for their Garlic Knots!!! Lol! It's been a minute since I last ate at Bravo's, as I wanna say the last time I ate here was during Covid-19 where I had to do "take-out", as all inside dining was closed during the Covid-19 pandemic. I don't know why I haven't come back to Bravo since, but what motivated me on coming back to Bravo's was when I saw the garlic knot pics posted by my yelp buddies - Craig T., Bryan W., & Gail U.. Ooooh-weeeeeeeeeee! Gotta love those Garlic Knots!!! I came here on a Friday night with my homie - Nate Y., as it was pau hana Friday. We both ordered a pasta dish, but the highlight of our dinner was definitely da Garlic Knots! Lol! Service on a Friday night was on-point. Bravo was extremely busy but the wait time to get a table was minimal, and after placing our food order, the food came out pretty quickly. No complaints here, just your basic casual Italian joint that serves large portions, and GREAT Garlic Knots! Lol!

    Lunch at Bravo. Let me start off with saying the service was friendly and our food came out fast.I had the lunch portion of lasagna with Ceasars salad. The salad which came with the meal was excellent. The meat lasagna would have been great it it wasn't buried in sauce. Way to much sauce. I thought the sauce had an overwhelming basil taste. If you're a garlic lover the complimentary garlic bread is for you. The restaurant seating is well spaced between tables, But In our booth I keep kicking my wife. Enjoy

    Update 2-15-26 went to lunch with my wife and it was crowded with big parties. I asked how long is the wait she replied how many in my party. I respond only 2 she said I can sit you now right on ! . Of course they start you off with the delicious garlic knot bread . I was finish with the first basket before she took our order lol. I ordered their chicken Ptarmigan it was good . My wife had their Calamari linguini. Support local

    It's been a long time since I have eaten here. We came on a Saturday at around 1 pm. We were seated right away and the garlic knots and water arrived soon after. The garlic knots are a little different from what I remembered. They are now a little bigger and crispier. Still very good. Our order was taken right away and our food arrived soon after (right after our second serving of garlic knots). My wife had the spinach linguini pasta lunch special. She liked it. I had a half Italian salad and crispy calamari. Both were delicious. I really enjoyed our meal here. Great service and great food! We need to come here more often.

    Food is always on my mind especially if I have an appointment out of our neighborhood. As we were driving to Pearl Ridge: what do you want to eat for lunch? Hubs suggested Bravo( carbs!!!) but who can turn down garlic knots ? The young lady at reception also has table wipe down duties so she will be right back. She let us to our table and gave it a wipe down- good eyes cuz I didn't notice the minuscule crumbs til she sprayed and wiped it away. One lady took our drink and meal order. There was a young man with wavy hair who waited on our table more, checked on us and gave us the dessert menu plus boxes for left overs. Hubs chose a ravioli lunch special and it seemed keiki size. The salad looked good. I have no shame I ordered off the regular menu something I hadn't tried before/ pesto linguini with shrimp and scallops. Lots of mushrooms, shrimp and scallops. I shook on some chili flakes and Parmesan cheese to add more flavor. Two thirds is going home. The pleasant young man must know how to read customers well and recommended Death by Chocolate. I told him I tried it before, so sweet !!! and he asked was it a cake? I nodded. He shared the ingredients and said it's now a brownie. Ok let's try it. I asked for two spoons and he smiled. Must conquer Battle of the bulge: shared it with hubs. Much better and half was filling enough. Chocolate to the max... good and enjoyable. So glad that young man serviced our table. He is manager caliber for sure. He made our lunch dining there special.

    Lunch with hungry eyes? Here's the perfect spot! They have a great special's menu! I ended up going off menu, of course . The garlic butter biscuits they bring out to start are delicious. Go ahead, try to only eat one, I dare you! I had the capellini alfredo and Kat ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken parmesan. We also had the meatballs appetizer. De-lish!

    I used to go to Bravo's all the time as a kid, so this place is super nostalgic for me. I will forever love their complimentary garlic balls. Somehow I forgot about Bravo's over the years, but I went back on a whim recently and I'm so glad I did. The ambiance has a homey feel. I'm not sure if that's just the nostalgia talking, but it feels cozy. The garlic balls were even better than I remembered. We started with the Caesar salad, which was good, like any classic Caesar. I ordered the fresh portobello mushrooms with chicken in pesto, and it was sooo good. The pesto was rich and flavorful without being too heavy. I'd honestly say it's comparable to Assaggio's pesto, but more affordable. My boyfriend ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and Italian sausage. It was alright, nothing too special. I have to say, the portions are HUGE. We didn't have room for dessert, and our two entrées turned into dinner that night plus two extra meals. Our server was also really good and attentive. If you're craving comforting Italian food with generous portions and those iconic garlic balls, Bravo's is definitely worth it.

    This was my first lunch experience here. I usually come for dinner. The lunch specials, most come with salad, are a reasonable deal. What I love love love, besides the bottomless garlic rolls, is that they don't skimp on the sauces like most other Italian restaurants. I heard there's a tomato shortage, but Bravo doesn't hold back on their marinara sauce. So great! Leilani Comstock was our server - so nice, friendly, accommodating and professional. She insisted she change out my spinach ravioli sauce from cream to marinara since she checked in with us and I mentioned that I didn't realize the ravioli came with cream because I don't care for cream sauce. Thank you Leilani for a wonderful lunch experience!

    Last time it was a flop with spaghetti pasta and their garlic rolls being hard. But we decided to try them again. I ordered the chicken parmigiana with marinara sauce as usual. It was good. The pasta was not over cooked, done perfectly. Their complimentary garlic rolls were Nice and fresh with good amount of garlic butter. Whew! I left full and happy. Only thing is their interior is old and needs some TLC. It has old oily smell when you enter. But other than that, food was good with nice service.

    Does it seem like everyone calls this place Bravo's? It's actually Bravo-no "s". If you're looking for a deal then checkout Bravo for lunch. The have a great lunch special. So many choices unlike some other places that only have a small selection. I had the Linguine with clam and salad combo. Everyone loves their garlic rolls but I feel it's not as good as before. But it's free so who's complaining. Fast and friendly service. Lots of free parking. Don't forget to sign up for the VIP Club!

    Good food, fast and quality service. We love the freshly baked garlic rolls- unlimited. Seafood appetizer combo was a great choice.

Erin knew this was our first time here, and she made it her mission to make sure it was not our last. She was friendly, real down-to-earth, and efficient. Hours of operation are Tues to Thurs 5:00p to 8:00p, Fri to Sun 4:30p to 9:00p, Mon closed. Long gone are those lunches, as only dinner is served. We elected to have an early dinner on a Sunday instead of fighting traffic on a weekday. No reservations were necessary for an early Sunday dinner, as we noticed large family dinners had special occasion celebrations, and that we were early enough before the dining rooms got crowded. The dining rooms appear outdated, but the lights are dimmed to create a date-night ambiance. With delicious pasta, large portions, good value, a pleasant ambiance, and excellent customer service, the dining experience is one to remember! Slightly hidden amongst the surrounding of Kaka'ako is La Cucina Ristorante Itlaiano for many though I knew of this place for quite some time since I do have frequent Imperial Plaza for many other biz found here. The restaurant is located on the grounds floor inside the lobby area and can be easily missed for it's simplicity but those who knows it's a place to visit. To do so you must make reservations and it's online by e-mail only and it was a process for me as it's their primary way of communication along with presetting your order as well especially for braised items that requires 48hrs in advance notice. We didn't select those items but have decided to preorder our starters which is their Insalata di Casa which is a lovely simple salad with Italian vinaigrette and some fresh tomatoes and Bruchetta which is also another simple item but until you've tried them it was very crafted and delicious that was wonderful start to our meal. To share we decided on the Rigatoni Bolognese though they were out of Rigatoni and offered us Pappardelle instead which I was fine and Ravioli Zucca and from what I understand the Pappardelle is house made and it was just the perfect consistency and the bolognese was a delicate sauce that went perfectly together but the Ravioli Zucca was just as amazing. Stuffed with Butternut Squash and my favorite vodka sauce is paired with Italian sausage and garnished with sliced almonds and Italian parsley it was such an elegant bite. This spot is very small and cozy so you must wait outside to be called to your table which they set up for you before you're seated and parking is validated in the building though I did find street parking which is free as well after 6pm but the vibe here is very calm though many do come here as groups and it can get quite loud at moments though the staff did very well to course our starters and entree which is nice as the table is small and won't find much at the same time. I do appreciated the time it takes to prepare the reservations though must admit it was quite different to make it all work and see that it's all done in ways that you have very little wait for your table and your food as well and just loved how it's all crafted to make it a balance of harmony for us all. If you really think about it, it's actually the fanciest type of restaurant in the area. Don't let the laid back entryway fool you, this place is certainly housing some of the best food. Making a reservation is definitely recommended if possible but walk-ins are taken if you don't mind waiting for a table to clear if its busy. That being said, the experience can vary depending on your server and the amount of care that you're given during your meal. The food is always exquisite and I've always been happy with the quality and especially the amount. We went there to celebrate multiple birthdays in my family for the month of April and not remembering how large the "Large" size plates were, I essentially had enough food to bring home for leftovers. I decided to choose the Chicken Saltimbocca and the house red wine for my meal. The menu is pretty extensive and has truly something for everyone. The caesar salad is made table side and always comes out great, definitely a recommended part of the meal if you're on a date or with family who'd all like to partake. The wine menu isn't as big as some other fancy places in Honolulu, but more than satisfactory to accompany your meal. I think that this is a great restaurant to visit if you're in the mood for an experience that is more intimate without having to drive closer to downtown. While it has the menu, look, and experience of a higher end restaurant, you can always approach it with the comfort of a longtime local spot. In short, you ruined my birthday. This was the WORST dining experience of my life (I'm 62 years old). I ate at your restaurant in 2022 and the food was very good. What happened? Where did your chef learn to cook Italian food? I ordered the sautéed zucchini and it was smothered in garlic and swimming in oil. Never seen anything like it. I ordered the "carbonara" and it was unlike anything I'd ever seen in my life. You should Google carbonara and see if you find anything even remotely close to what you serve. Big, raw pieces of onion all over, big chunks of something that I guess was supposed to be ham or bacon cooked at varying degrees of done, and again swimming in oil! My wife ordered the Shrimp Assaggio. The description says it's fried in garlic and"light olive oil." Guess what? Yup, swimming in oil. Then the waiter comes by and asks if my wife would like Parmesan. What? On seafood? In what universe? I told the waitress that I had never seen carbonara like this and was very disappointed. She kinda made a face but no words. When she came to ask if we wanted dessert, I told her, "After this?" I went on to explain why I was dissatisfied and she couldn't have cared less. I really regret not sending the food back and leaving. Again, totally ruined what should have been a nice birthday meal. If I could have given the food 1/2 a star I would have. If you're going to serve Italian food, I strongly suggest hiring a chef who has a clue about how to cook Italian food. I will never subject my family to this "Italian" restaurant again. Unfamiliar with the menu we decided to do the five tasting course. As of 4/22/26 the base price is $125 and depending on what you choose, there are some add ons. For example the carbonara was +$25 and the Ricci di mare was +$18. Food: the Focaccia bread was free and comes with free refills. The salmon with caviar was really good. It had the perfect balance but very small, about 1.5". The next dish was the baked abalone. That was also very delicious but two bites and it's over. At this point, we were starting to think we would leave hungry. The next dish was the pasta. We tried both the carbonara and the Ricci di mare. Both were very good. The carbonara came with freshly slices truffles and thick crispy pieces of bacon. Highly recommend for truffle lovers. I'm not a huge uni fan but surprisingly the Ricci di mare was also really good. Of note, the pasta in the five course tasting is half the size of the regular order. Even at half the size, I felt the serving portion was good. I felt satisfied but not full. The next dish was the main course so filet mignon and monchong. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly but I personally didn't like the sweet sour balsamic vinegar taste that was drizzled over. I would have preferred it to be more savory. The monchong was okay but a little overcooked for my liking. The portion size of the main course was good. Lastly was our desert but to our surprise, they brought out a nicely written happy birthday platter with half a lava flow desert and a small scoop of ice cream. My son really enjoyed it. The creme caramel was also good and reminded me of flan. Service: the waitress did her job but I personally felt we had better service entering the restaurant and being seated. She had no smile, did not offer any recommendations, and no small talk which is fine but noticeable. Our bill came out to $463.87 tip not included. Though we really enjoyed the salmon and abolone I'm not sure it's worth the price and the extra three bites. Next time I would just stick with the pasta. If we had just ordered the full order of pasta our bill would've been $195.
